I don't watch American sports much, but one good thing about them is how the balance of power can shift. For the Lakers to go from one of the weakest teams to the favorite to win the league is really a bizarre turnaround.
The Lakers are a power team that is star-heavy. Their depth is a little underrated, but they are very good nonetheless. Being a Lakers fan, I hope they will excel and bring home the chip.
I hope we win it all for Kobe. We have LeBron and AD, which are a dynamic duo. If we don't win it, this won't feel right.

I feel they need more firepower. They're a one-man show with Giannis. You take him out of the equation, and they're very beatable. I feel they come up short. Giannis only takes you so far.

The Clippers are a dangerous team with Kawhi and PG. To me, they have everything they need to win the championship, and they pose the biggest threat to the Lakers.
The Clippers are ready to be unlocked. Their defensive potential is amazing, and all they have to do is turn it on offensively.

The Rockets are going to miss Westbrook, but once they get him back, they will be a powerful team and are definitely one to be feared. They just gotta hope Harden can carry them through the 1st round.
They would be a dangerous team, but no Westbrook hurts them. And all of a sudden, they might not make it past a feisty Thunder team that could be a sleeper pick. I don't believe James Harden can carry them that far on his own.

Toronto is still a very scary team with most of their championship core still intact. Yeah, they don't have Kawhi, but they're just as dangerous without him.
The Raptors are just so balanced. They also have that Championship DNA. They are a dark horse.

I like Dallas, but I feel without Porzingis in the game, they're toast. Maybe he and Doncic steal a game, but this is still a learning experience for them. I expect them to fall early, unfortunately.
The Mavs are going to be a threat in the Playoffs. People are definitely underestimating the Mavs' offense.

A very smart team that can do some stuff. They just don't have that it factor, in my opinion.
Nuggets are a solid team. I mean, Donovan Mitchell put up 57 points against Denver and still lost.
