Top 10 NBA Teams with the Worst 2019 Free Agency

This free agency was stacked with good players. Some teams screwed this up, while others took advantage. Today, we will be looking at the teams that not only did badly, but for some, were horrible.

The Top Ten
  1. Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets are an American professional basketball team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Eastern Conference Southeast Division. The Hornets play their home games at the Spectrum Center.

The Hornets just had a horrible free agency. For one, the Hornets should've listened to the world when they said to trade Kemba Walker, but no, they just have to keep him, only to lose him in free agency. Horrible job.

Plus, they got Terry Rozier on a horrible contract they will end up regretting.

  2. Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets are an American professional basketball team based in Houston, Texas. They compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Western Conference's Southwest Division. The team has won two NBA championships, in 1994 and 1995.

The Rockets just simply did nothing. The West is wide open with KD gone. Go after it. Stop trying to get superstars and go after role players. They have simply done nothing. I expect better from Morey.

They have been in pursuit of Andre Iguodala, which would redeem them, but dang, at least add one really good role player.

  3. New York Knicks

The New York Knickerbockers, commonly referred to as the Knicks, are an American professional basketball team based in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. They compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Atlantic Division. The team was established in 1946 and is one... read more

You know, I am fine with the Knicks not getting anyone because they have a horribly run franchise. We all knew that they would screw up.

I kind of like them making R.J. Barrett the centerpiece of this team, and I feel like he can be a star. I like the signing of Julius Randle, but most likely none of this will happen because James Dolan sucks.

  4. Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division.

They play their home games at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California... read more

The Warriors confused me hardcore. Of course they lost big because they lost KD and DeMarcus Cousins.

I don't get why they traded Iggy just to get the cap to get D'Lo and then say they are just going to trade D'Lo later. Like, if I was D'Lo, I would demand a trade right now.

  5. Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Toronto, Ontario. They compete in the NBA as a member of the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division.

Established in 1995, the Raptors are the only NBA franchise located outside the United States. The team won its first NBA... read more

The Raptors obviously lost Kawhi, and they had an opportunity to pair Kawhi, Westbrook, and PG for, I think, Siakam, VanVleet, and a bunch of picks, but they didn't take it.

They could've made a superteam, but now they are in a hole, back to average, and a possible playoff team.

  6. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves are an American professional basketball team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are a member of the Western Conference Northwest Division in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team was founded in 1989 and plays its home games at the Target Center.

Obviously, missing out on D'Angelo is tough. He would've been a great fit, but I guess it just won't happen unless a trade is pulled off.

  7. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers, also known as the Cavs, are a professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. They compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Eastern Conference Central Division. The team won its first NBA Championship in 2016.

  8. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder are an American professional basketball team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They compete in the NBA as a member of the Western Conference Northwest Division. The franchise relocated from Seattle in 2008, where it was previously known as the Seattle SuperSonics.

Okay, I don't like how they broke this team up with the trade. I like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and all the picks they got, but now they have to trade Westbrook quick.

  9. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic are an American professional basketball team based in Orlando, Florida. The Magic compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Southeast Division. They were established in 1989 and have reached the NBA Finals twice, in 1995 and 2009.

I simply don't like the re-signing of Nikola Vucevic. Some things you just got to let go of or trade.

  10. Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks are an American professional basketball team based in Atlanta, Georgia. They compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Southeast Division. The team was founded in 1946 and moved to Atlanta in 1968, after previously being located in... read more

I'm going to make this short and sweet: who trades for Evan Turner?

  11. The Contenders
  12. Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are an American professional basketball team based in Detroit, Michigan. They compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Eastern Conference's Central Division. The Pistons have won three NBA championships, in 1989, 1990, and 2004.
