Favorite Force Users
My favorite users of the Force based on my preference, not their strength or power.DISCLAIMER: There are Star Wars (from games and shows as well as movies) SPOILERS ahead.
Obi-Wan is my favorite Star Wars character. He is so varied and deep and his arc is so compelling. He watches as his Order fails and much look over the last hope, the son of his fallen best friend. He's charming, funny, wise, powerful... amazing.
Darth Traya is one of my favorite Sith. Her voice is portrayed very well, and her quotes are memorable. Her philosophy is unique, and when you hear her full story, it makes her a Sith Lord like no other. She hates the Force, and was betrayed by the Jedi and Sith. The way her character is sculpted and acted and written is so good. I love manipulations, and she does it well. She orchestrates many of the events in KOTOR 2 and it's great seeing them all go in her favor.
Sidious is the master manipulator. He is extremely powerful and clever, and some of the best Star Wars moments are watching him deceive and manipulate people. Like Obi-Wan, his character is varied - he's manipulative, deceitful, charming, crazy evil... seeing him turn the Republic into the Empire is fascinating.
I think the Jedi Exile is just awesome. I don't think she gets the recognition she deserves. She fought with Revan and was the only one to come back after the wars. She was one of the last remaining Jedi and beat the whole Sith Triumvirate. Revan is the famous one, but the Exile was just as badass, and it was so cool how after Revan did his whole thing with Malak, the Exile was entangled in another story with the triumvirate, and even though this story isn't as well known, it's equally awesome. The Exile has a very good dilemma about the Jedi and her relationships with characters like Kreia is great.
Yoda is the ultimate mentor. All of his quotes are memorable and evocative, and he has great wisdom. His design is extremely memorable, and the puppetry done on him was outstanding. He is the perfect balance of wise and humorous, and shares some of the best philosophies in Star Wars.
For me, Ahsoka really shined in Star Wars Rebels Season Two. She was cool in the Clone Wars - the Togruta apprentice of Anakin Skywalker - and the moment where she left was touching, but she was a badass in Rebels. Her design was great and her dual-wielded white lightsabers were awesome. I loved it how she didn't appear much, but when she did it was to do something completely epic. In "Future of the Force", when the Inquisitors easily defeat Ezra, then boom, those doors open - out walks Ahsoka. She easily beats them in a really awesome scene. I also love how she's like an investigator throughout the season. And of course, her final showdown with Vader is one of the best duels in Star Wars. The emotion in that fight and within Ahsoka is outstanding.
Luke isn't that interesting at some points, but his internal conflict is great. His shining moment is in the ending duel of episode 6. The temptation to join the dark side is so well done, and you fear for what will happen to Luke. When Luke is filled with anger, then looks at his hand and sees that he is becoming Vader... amazing moment. And throughout the trilogy, Luke is just a great protagonist. He's vulnerable and flawed and you go on the journey with him to become a Jedi.
Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader has had the most development in the Star Wars universe. We see his transition from a child to a sad old man. What is fascinating about him is his self-hatred one has become the Dark Lord. He is a unique Sith in that way. He is constantly sad and constantly misses his wife, but this just makes his evil stronger. He is the ultimate badass while in the suit, and his redemption was truly touching.
