Top Ten Fathers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

It may be past Fathers Day, but the MCU is full of good and bad dads in the series. Let's see who they are.
The Top Ten
1 Tony Stark

As we have seen in Endgame, Tony Stark ends up being a father for Morgan, and showing his love for his family as much as possible even though he ended up giving his life to the lines of heroics.

I love him 3000 and I'll miss him 3000.

2 Thanos Thanos is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Jim Starlin and Mike Friedrich. The character first appeared in Iron Man #55 and has been portrayed by actors Damion Poitier and Josh Brolin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I of course said at the top of this list that this list will have both good and bad dads. Thanos is definitely a bad dad, torturing Nebula and sacrificing Gamora, all because he has ambitions. He is still considered a father by both sisters of course.

3 Yondu Yondu Udonta, or simply Yondu, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Michael Rooker.

"He may have been your father boy! But he wudn't your daddy! " Such powerful words ring from Yondu as he makes the sacrifice to save Peter Quill from demise. True, he's definitely not the biological father of Quill, but having abducted him and raised him as a Ravager, he can certainly count as a father. Peter even acknowledges this at the end of GOTG2.

4 Odin Odin Borson is a fictional character appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was the former King of Asgard, protector of the Nine Realms, father of Hela and Thor, the adoptive father of Loki, husband of Frigga, and was known as the "God of War and Wisdom". In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he has been portrayed by Anthony Hopkins.

While usually morally ambiguous for a character, he tried his best to raise both Thor and Loki. He could be considered a bad dad in some cases, especially with regards to Hela.

5 Howard Stark
6 Scott Lang

He's funny! Paul Rudd seems like an equally pleasant person to be with too!

Great father. He loves his daughter more than anything.

He'll do anything for his daughter.

7 Clint Barton Clinton Francis "Clint" Barton, better known as Hawkeye, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a former special agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., where he worked under the supervision of Phil Coulson. Known for his use of the bow and arrow as his primary weapon, Barton became one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best agents and assisted in the recruitment of Black Widow. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he has been portrayed by Jeremy Renner.

While Age of Ultron definitely wasn't the best of films and the scenes involving the Barton household were rather boring, the fact that they exist in the movie gives a whole new perspective on Clint's entire character. He's definitely devoted to his family, and at the end of Endgame he still wishes to stay retired with his family.

8 Ego Ego the Living Planet is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is portrayed by Kurt Russell.

Yeah, he's the biological father of Quill and a very ambitious person, although he was really bad at the end of it all.

9 Adrian Toomes / Vulture

Oh man, Toomes, you really did do what you could to gain some profit, yet you being the father of Peter's girlfriend completely upped the stakes of such a great film.

10 T'Chaka
