Top 10 Best Disney Animated Princesses

I'm very excited for Wreck-it Ralph 2! And these princesses are a reason why! Let's discuss the best animated Disney princesses!
The Top Ten
1 Mulan Fa Mulan, a character inspired by an actual historic figure is a character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 36th animated feature film Mulan, as well as its sequel Mulan II.

Mulan is the most awesome Disney princess ever! I know that she's technically not a princess in the movie, but according to Disney, a female committing a true act of heroism is enough to become a Disney princess! And she is definitely deserving of it since she saved China! And ironically in the sequel she doomed China. But let's not talk about that. It started out when Mulan wanted to protect her father who had to go into war. She decided to take his place because she cares a lot about her family! Unlike Ariel! So she disguises herself as a man so she could fight in the war. Because people don't think that girls can fight. But Mulan proved them wrong! She's not just a pretty face! She is a very tough warrior! I don't know why some people don't consider her to be the best Disney princess! She is flawless! She definitely stands out from the other princesses! And she is incredibly hot! She is just so awesome!

2 Snow White Snow White is a fictional character from Disney's first ever film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves . She is Disney's first ever Disney Princess and is the only Disney Princess to have her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame .

I went to Disneyland on August 20th and I saw Snow White walking around with the seven dwarfs even though they don't usually do that. So it was pretty cool to see that. She is a very adorable princess. She is very kind and likes to help out with cleaning and stuff like that. When she meets the dwarfs, she acts like a mother towards them. Despite being only 14 years old. She has such a great singing voice. Which she can use to control animals and trick them into helping her clean. She actually uses her voice to make life easier! Unlike Ariel! Snow White is the first Disney princess and a very great one!

Totally shes an original should be number 1

3 Belle Belle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 30th animated feature film Beauty and the Beast (1991) and in the live action remake Beauty and the Beast (2017). Belle is the intelligent and selfless young daughter of an inventor who does not conform to the normal ways of her small minded village.

Belle is incredible! She is an amazing princess! Beauty and the Beast is such a great movie and Belle is a main reason why! Everyone in her town thinks she's hot but she doesn't focus on her looks! She mainly focuses on what's on the inside! She loves to read and she's very smart! Unlike Ariel! And when she falls in love with the Beast, she doesn't care that he's a monster! She cares about the good in him! I like how she doesn't fall in love with him right away! She takes the time to get to know him! Who doesn't love Belle? She's beautiful and a great singer! Unlike Emma Watson who isn't beautiful and can't sing! I know I make fun of Emma Watson a lot, but it's just so much fun!

Belle, voiced by Paige O'Hara, from Walt Disney Animation Studios' animated feature length film, "Beauty and the Beast".

4 Rapunzel Rapunzel is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 50th animated feature film Tangled, and its short sequel Tangled Ever After. She is the tenth Disney Princess, the first Disney Princess to be CGI-animated, and the first Disney Princess to have freckles or green eyes.

I love Rapunzel! I wouldn't say Tangled is one of my favorite Disney movies, but Rapunzel is still such an excellent character! She's a lot of things that I like about princesses! She is absolutely amazing! She's been living in a tower for her whole life and she meets Eugene and they go on an adventure together. Apparently Disney likes having two characters, a boy and a girl, who hate each other at first go on an adventure and eventually like each other in the end. Despite having Eugene protect her along the way to see the floating lanterns, she can still do things for herself. She pretty much disobeys her mother to see the lanterns, but Gothel wasn't her real mother. And considering she was the princess, she was pretty much doing the right thing without knowing it. Unlike Ariel! There's currently a Tangled series on Disney Channel and it's pretty good! I actually kind of like Rapunzel even more in the series than in this movie! She's a lot more developed and we get to see her getting ...more

5 Jasmine She is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 31st animated feature film Aladdin (1992).

I feel like it's impossible to hate Jasmine. She's beautiful, she's kind, and she has a nice butt. Everyone pretty much agrees that she is one of the best Disney princesses. One thing that makes her stand out from the other princesses is that she doesn't always enjoy living in royalty. Her father makes her stay in the palace and wants her to marry someone as soon as possible. But she ends up sneaking out because she wants to know what it's like to be a normal girl. She disobeys her father, but this is just one time and she doesn't cause any chaos to happen in the process. Unlike Ariel! Only problem I have is that why didn't she recognize Aladdin as Prince Ali? He was only wearing a costume and he didn't disguise his face. Doesn't matter. I still love Jasmine!

6 Moana Moana is the protagonist of Disney's 2016 animated feature film of the same name. Born on the island village of Motunui, Moana is the daughter of Chief Tui and Sina, with an inherited love for the seas and voyaging. When her island becomes endangered, Moana is chosen by the ocean to journey across the sea to save both her people and the world.

Frozen is better than Moana! However, Moana is a pretty great Disney princess! She wants to experience adventure by sailing beyond the reef. Even though her father won't allow it. But she finally gets to do what she wants when she has to save her island! So she's doing this to actually help people and not for her own selfish reasons! Unlike Ariel! But I must admit that she's kind of a combination of every Disney princess. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I just can't stop thinking about how similar she is to the other princesses. The movie is pretty much filled with clichés. I still like Moana as a character though. She is determined, brave, and very tough! And Auli'i Cravalho does an excellent job at voicing her!

7 Tiana Princess Tiana of Maldonia is a fictional main character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 49th animated feature film The Princess and the Frog.

Tiana is the most underrated Disney princess! And Princess and the Frog is a very underrated Disney movie! She is a girl who wants to own a restaurant, but after meeting a prince who becomes a frog, she becomes a frog and goes on an adventure with him. And during this adventure, it's shown that Tiana is capable of taking care of herself! Unlike Ariel! This is what I like most about her! She's aggressive! She doesn't need a man to save her! In fact, she ends up saving the man! She also has such a beautiful voice! Anika Noni Rose is an excellent singer! I got to see her perform a song at D23 during the Disney Legends Awards which I uploaded to YouTube. Tiana is great and deserves more love!

8 Elsa Queen Elsa of Arendelle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 53rd animated film Frozen.

So Frozen is a Broadway show now. I watched a clip from the Let it Go scene and it looks pretty great! That dress change is amazing! It reminds me of why Elsa is a great character! She is awesome! She's beautiful, and we understand her struggles! My favorite scene is when she's defending herself from the guards. It's just really amazing! We see how frightened she is and we know that she doesn't really want to hurt anyone. She was just scared of what she has become. Her actions aren't intentional! Unlike Ariel! A lot of people hated that Elsa ran away from her problems, but the reason she ran away is because she didn't want to harm anyone! She cares about the people of Arendelle and her sister Anna. I have no idea why people hate her and give Ariel a pass! I can't wait to see more of her in the sequel!

9 Cinderella Princess Cinderella is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 12th animated feature film Cinderella and its sequels Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time.

Cinderella is a princess who dreams about going to the ball, meets a fairy godmother, gets her wish, goes to the ball, meets a prince, runs away, loses her glass slipper that for some reason doesn't disappear, gets married, then divorces him and becomes a waitress at a diner where she falls in love with a partially deaf kid who's a getaway driver. Oh wait. That last thing was the wrong Cinderella. The animated Cinderella is far better! Her stepsisters are very mean to her and constantly make her work. They don't even let her go to the ball. It makes us feel bad for her because she has such a miserable life and she deserves to do something amazing. Unlike Ariel! So when she finally gets to go to the ball, she gets very happy! One thing that the live action movie got wrong was that Cinderella seemed like she was always happy! Never miserable! Which made it hard to relate to her! Here though, we feel her pain! It's hard living with evil stepsisters and an evil stepmother who don't let ...more

10 Ariel Princess Ariel is a fictional character and the title character of Walt Disney Pictures' 28th animated film The Little Mermaid.
The Contenders
11 Pocahontas Pocahontas is a title character in Disney's 33rd animated feature film Pocahontas, and its direct-to-video sequel Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World.

I hate this movie, but Pocahontas is not that bad of a character. She's adventurous, cares a lot about her family, and is a really great singer! Throughout the movie, it's very believable that she is one with nature by the way she interacts with animals and the environments around her. It's clear that she loves where she lives! Unlike Ariel! Pocahontas, however, isn't perfect. I feel like her relationship with John Smith is pretty bland and uninteresting. I also think she's a bit of a Mary Sue. She's not as big of a Mary Sue as Cruz Ramirez but it still really bothers me. Considering that she somehow, having never met an English person until that moment, managed to learn that particular language by listening to THE WIND!

12 Nala Nala is a fictional character who appears in Disney's The Lion King franchise and is introduced in the animated film The Lion King in 1994.

Not exactly a disney princess

13 Esmeralda Esméralda, born Agnès, is a fictional character in Victor Hugo's 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.
14 Anna Princess Anna of Arendelle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 53rd animated film Frozen.
15 Giselle Giselle is the main protagonist of the 2007 Disney animated/live-action hybrid film "Enchanted". She is voiced and portrayed by Amy Adams. She is a kind and dreamy young woman who is from the kingdom of Andalasia who was then sent to present-day New York City by Queen Narissa. She was inspired by Disney ...read more.
