Top 10 Best Female Disney Villains

It's time to show how bad some women can really be. These are the Top 10 Female Disney Villains!
The Top Ten
1 Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) Maleficent is the main antagonist of Disney's 1959 animated feature film Sleeping Beauty. An evil fairy, Maleficent is an incarnation of pure evil, and is responsible for all misfortune in King Stefan's kingdom.

She is malevolent and magnificent! She's Maleficent! This villain from Sleeping Beauty is very popular among many Disney fans. I can see why. She is very intimidating and mean, and she can turn into a fire-breathing dragon!

I don't think I need to go into any more detail about why she is great. She is a very awesome villain! As for the live-action Maleficent movie, let's just pretend it doesn't exist.

She's even better than Scar from The Lion King in my opinion. Scar was a coward. The final battle? Scar: Scared of his nephew. Maleficent: Turns into a dragon and fights until the end.

Plus, she's so cool to watch.

2 Ursula (The Little Mermaid) Ursula is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 28th animated feature film The Little Mermaid.

Those poor unfortunate souls, in pain, in need. Ursula is a sea witch who steals Ariel's voice and gives her legs so she can go up on dry land and meet the man of her dreams. I hate Ariel so much. When Ursula stole Ariel's voice, she used it to woo Prince Eric and even turned herself into a very attractive human. The part that really showed how cool she is was when she became giant. Too bad she was impaled by Eric's ship. She was definitely a great villain.

My favorite female Disney villain!

She is my favorite female villain!

3 Mother Gothel (Tangled) Mother Gothel is the main antagonist of Disney's 2010 animated feature film, Tangled. She is a wicked crone who retained youth for hundreds of years through the healing properties of a magic, golden flower.

Evil mothers are the best kinds of mothers. Mother Gothel kidnapped Rapunzel when she was a baby so she could use the power of her hair to stay young forever. She tells Rapunzel to never leave the tower, even though Rapunzel wants to see the "floating lights" up close since they happen to appear on her birthday. Wait a minute! Why didn't Gothel just lie to Rapunzel about her birthday? Other than that, Gothel's motivations are pretty good, and she is definitely intimidating.

Gothel sparks interest in the age-old question: What happens after we die? What was it that Gothel was hiding from? What was her real motivation? We all know she was obsessed with her looks, but could there be something more to the story?

This air of mystery and hidden backstory makes Gothel the most intriguing Disney villain to date.

4 The Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)

Snow White is the first-ever Disney animated film. The absolute best thing about it is the villain, the Evil Queen. Her real name is Grimhilde, by the way. Of course, all of us know that she poisons Snow White with an apple. I don't remember why she does it since I haven't seen the movie in years. The Queen was eventually killed by the Seven Dwarves. She was such a scary villain, especially when she was disguised as an old lady.

Why wouldn't you vote for The Evil Queen? Neither Ursula nor Maleficent tried to kill the princesses in their movies, just curse them. However, The Evil Queen POISONED Snow White and literally KILLED her just because she wanted to be the fairest of them all. PSYCHO OR WHAT?! Besides, Ursula is too funny to be hated, and Maleficent turns out NOT to be the villain in the 2015 remake of Sleeping Beauty, aka Maleficent. The Evil Queen is an EVIL, jealous BIOTCH who deserves the title of Top Villain!

5 Cruella De Vil (One Hundred and One Dalmatians) Cruella de Vil is a fictional character who appeared in Dodie Smith's 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians, Disney's animated film adaptations 101 Dalmatians and 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure, and Disney's live-action film adaptations 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians as the main... read more

Cruella De Vil. Cruella De Vil. If she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will. To see her is to take a sudden chill. Cruella, Cruella De Vil.

Cruella is a woman who is bent on capturing the 101 Dalmatians in order to make clothes out of them. I didn't like how they portrayed her in the live-action version. They made her too crazy. I'm not a fan of 101 Dalmatians, but Cruella De Vil is definitely a scary, though likable, woman.

Cruella De Vil,
Cruella De Vil,
If she doesn't scare you,
Then nothing else will.

Too evil!

6 Yzma (The Emperor's New Groove) Yzma is the royal adviser of Emperor Kuzco in 'The Emperor's New Groove'. She is also a mad potions master and after being fired by Kuzco, she tries to use her potions to get rid of him and instate herself as empress.

"Pull the lever, Kronk!" I watched The Emperor's New Groove a million times when I was a kid. It's a great movie, and I especially like Yzma. She's voiced by Eartha Kitt, whom you may know as Madame Zeroni from Holes and Vexus from My Life as a Teenage Robot. Yzma worked as Kuzco's advisor until he decided to fire her. To get revenge, she tries to poison Kuzco so she can rule the empire. Unfortunately for her, she turns him into a llama instead. I find Yzma to be one of the funniest Disney villains. She is very enjoyable, and so is Kronk.

7 Lady Tremaine (Cinderella)

I haven't seen this movie in a long time, but I absolutely love Lady Tremaine as a villain. She is the stepmother of Cinderella and the mother of Anastasia and Drizella... um, like I said, I haven't seen this movie in a long time. Tremaine would go to any lengths to make sure that one of her daughters marries the prince. She even locks Cinderella in her room to ensure the Prince never finds her. I agree with the Nostalgia Critic that she is scarier than the one in the live-action version. She just has that kind of face that I see in my nightmares.

8 Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland) The Queen of Hearts is a character from the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by the writer and mathematician Lewis Carroll.

Alice Through the Looking Glass looks like it sucks! Let's talk about the Queen of Hearts from the animated Alice in Wonderland movie and not the one played by Helena Bonham Carter. The Queen is basically the ruler of Wonderland and has an obsession with playing croquet. She also forces a bunch of cards to paint the roses red, or else she will have their heads. Graphic. She is a very enjoyable character, and I can relate to her since she has anger problems. I also have anger problems.

Heartless is a book about the Red Queen, and it is without a doubt the best book I have ever read. I love it, and it has given me a new perspective on the Red Queen.

9 Zira (The Lion King II: Simba's Pride) Zira was a female lion and the leader of the Outsiders. She was the mother of Kovu, Nuka, and Vitani. After Scar became the king of Pride Rock, he chose Zira's son, Kovu, to be his heir and protégé.

She was Scar's wife or friend, something like that. Anyway, she wanted revenge on Simba, so she is already off to an evil start.

If you've never heard of her, she is in The Lion King II. She is one of the most evil Disney villains of all time. She sang a song (My Lullaby) that is pretty good. Zira's son (not Kovu, Nuka) died trying to serve her.

10 Bellwether (Zootopia)
The Contenders
11 Queen Narissa (Enchanted) Queen Narissa is the main antagonist from Disney's 2007 feature hybrid film Enchanted, and is the stepmother of Prince Edward.

If you don't know who she is, she's the villain from the animated/live-action Disney film Enchanted, which I think is a severely underrated film. Narissa is basically a combination of the Evil Queen from Snow White and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. She disguises herself as an old hag and poisons Giselle with an apple. She can also turn into a dragon. I found it kind of annoying when she was pointing out fairy tale clichés during the climax. Narissa is more of a parody of other Disney villains, but I still like her.

12 Uma (Descendants 2)

She's a great villain, cunning and beautiful. Best known for her song. However, she's also talented with a sword, and the sword fight in the movie was well-acted. By far, she's one of my favorite villains!

Uma is the one who kidnaps King Ben (Descendants) just to get the Fairy Godmother's wand. She even steals Mal's spell book and puts a spell on Ben. That is going too far.

What's her name...

UMA!

This teen villainess even puts her mother in the shadows. She goes as far as kidnapping King Ben and trying to commit murder just to scare Mal into handing over the magic wand.

But I could imagine her turning good. Maybe she's just lost?

13 Madam Mim (The Sword in the Stone)
14 Drizella Tremaine (Cinderella, 2015)
15 Shego (Kim Possible) Shego is a fictional character from Disney's animated television series Kim Possible, voiced by Nicole Sullivan.
16 Vitani (The Lion King II: Simba's Pride) Vitani is a secondary antagonist in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. She is the daughter and middle child of Zira, the older sister of Kovu, and the younger sister of Nuka. Vitani is currently the leader of the Lion Guard.

For Lion King terms, she's pretty hot as a villain.

17 Mirage (The Incredibles)
18 Madame Medusa (The Rescuers)

Kidnaps a child.
Greedy for jewels.
Tries to kill mice.
Traps Penny in a cave.

19 Lord Dominator (Wander Over Yonder)
20 Magica De Spell (DuckTales)

This evil witch duck is out to steal Scrooge McDuck's lucky dime!

21 Helga Sinclair (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
22 Anastasia Tremaine (Cinderella, 2015)
23 Si (Lady and the Tramp)
24 Te Kā (Moana)
25 Shenzi (The Lion King) Shenzi a spotted hyena who first appeared as one of the secondary antagonists of Disney's 1994 animated film, The Lion King. He is one of the loyal followers and minions of Scar.
