Top 10 Most Famous Disney Characters

No other cartoon can give you the same feelings of a good old Mickey Mouse short. I saw almost everything animated born between 1910 and 2000, and Mickey Mouse tops any character out there. He may not be the funniest or craziest in terms of hard laughs, but as Walt himself said, he's SO human that you can't not love him. His facial and body expression are unmatched in the whole cartoon history: that's why is funny to see his laid back, humanly heroic, sometimes forgetful, but always committed actions and adventures. He may seems a simple character, but he's one of the most unique cartoon personality of all time: as I said, no other cartoon can give you the same feelings of a good old Mickey Mouse short. Simple as that.

Donald is just the coolest and cutest Disney character in the whole Disney world. He is so funny, friendly, unique and has a way to act in all kind of personalities so that everybody loves him! Also in Kingdom Hearts he was great! I loved having him as my ally cause he's my favourite and after I saw that he is a wizard in the game, I loved him even more (I love magic staff and spells)!
A duck that has more personality than any other Disney character combined. He's the fella that we can relate to in his adventures. He's the one that has faced the war than any other cartoon character. And he has a one of a kind voice that we have adored for so many years. So as you can see, this is what made him a legend.

Goofy is one of my favorite Disney character and he is number one on my list. How can anyone hate this goofy fellow. With his goofy laugh and funny voice he is sure to make kids of all ages laugh.
How in the world is stitch above him! Goofy is one of the most hilarious Disney characters out there! I vote for him for all the time I laughed, and had a memory with this fantastic character! If you do not like goofy, you should get laughacation. Is that right? Laughacation?
I think Elsa and Anna from FROZEN should be the most popular Disney characters. Can whoevers in charge of this website make Elsa number one and Anna number two?

I LOVE her and so does my granddaughter. We both have stuffed Minnie Mouse. And I got her a blanket with Minnie all over it. I have a 1930's book of all Disney character. Sure looked different then.
Minnie is a very sweet character. She has appeared in over 3,000 comics, several animated shorts and television series, and is a live presence at all Disney theme parks around the world. Minnie's style has evolved with the cultural changes and it's estimated that she has over 200 outfits, but some of her looks stand out more than others. (information from google) -disneygirl

Winnie the Pooh is awesome! Not only is he cute, he means so much to me. When I was a baby, my nursery was decorated with Winnie the Pooh stickers and decorations. I had many onesies that had Winnie the Pooh on them, and even my mobile over my crib had Winnie the Pooh characters on it! I love you, Pooh!
I always felt like I was in a magical world when I watched pooh movies and the 90s show. With Mickey Mouse cartoons... not so much. It felt like an everyday world, and I didn't feel like a kid.
He is so cute and funny and sweet. Just looks like a pot bellied bear. Always excited and helpful in nature. Just love his dressing style. Winnie the Pooh rocks!

Stitch is an adorable little character. I never thought he'd be this far up and spot number 2 would be taken by Minnie mouse or someone like that. He should be number 1 though so stitch lovers all over the world, vote stitch. If you don't vote, you should no longer call yourself a stitch lover. Vote team stitch NOW!
I love him so much. I just find him so adorable and his story is even more cute. I love how he started of as a clueless alien but turned into a caring and loveable creature. Its amazing how Lilo didn't give up on him and she helped him turn into a better person... well alien.

She is my favorite disney character hate how she doesn't get enough credit at all she is the first disney character a child should ever see and she was the first full animated disney movie ever!
Snow White is BY FAR! My most favorite princess of just about ALL time! She needs to be placed way better than 9th place! (She doesn't get enough credit! )
The first Disney Character not from Mickey Mouse. But from a fairy tale made into a movie.

He is the cutest Disney character ever created! Plus he is the sweetest/ smartest dog! He has many my top 1 favorite since I was a child
Pluto the best character by far! He's loyal, adventurous, funny, and Mickey's best friend.
He's just as good as Tom from Tom and Jerry! Cute, playful, and just wants to have a good time!

Baymax was the one thing that made big hero 6 even better. Some characters are funny, but he made me cry with laughter the first time I saw him. Plus he has a selfless side. All he cares about in the film is his friends. He was willing to sacrifice himself for hiro and a stranger! That proves how selfless he is! To conclude, baymax is a caring, loveable, funny character. GO TEAM BAYMAX!
Baymax is adorable, in a way I can't explain. He is selfless and cares nothing about himself. Of course that is programing, but I don't really care!

Tinkerbell is an amazing Disney character. I loved those Disney shorts on Disney Channel, and I love her movies. She teaches young kids that it's okay to be different and have different talents.
She's cool now but was just terrible in the original Peter Pan movie. Why did they have to make her such a envious prick in that movie?
Whenever I watch a tinker bell movie I feel like I should be 5agin! She is so cute and adorable and I am so exited that she is 4th place! Go Tink!
The Newcomers

Only Johnny Depp can master the art of walking like a drunkard when he portrays Captain Jack Sparrow. He never goes anywhere without his hat, it constantly getting people into dangerous situations to get what he wants (and then miraculously gets himself out of the danger), and is a complete womanizer (or tries to be one). He is an amazing character and it's a great portrayal, after all Captain Jack Sparrow only ever forgot to hide the rum once.
He is so entertaining and you can't not love him. Johnny Depp made a good job at making him famous and he should be in top 10! He is a badass drunk pirate with a weirdness around him. He has his compass that never works because he does not know what he wants and he somehow avoids death, even with an entire army trying to kill this guy! He must be immortal or the luckiest guy in the entire planet. I just do not know.

I just always deeply sincerely love and adore her so very much for how she is always just such a super rare sparkling dazzling blue-eyed glossy vivid vibrant redhead for within the world's population of 0.17%. I'd tell her myself like her ethnicity and genetic combo/combination, "Roses are red, violets are blue".
Ariel is such a good character, she represents Disney's overall character. She is a sweet mermaid who longs to be human. What else could a young child want to watch on T.V.! Ariel is definitely worthy of being a top disney character! Go team Ariel!

He was created before Mickey was created on 1928 but not as a Disney character. Not many fans have heard of him when his shorts were released or when his comics were published. He became more famous when he first appeared in the Epic Mickey games and he also became an "official" Disney character after the Epic Mickey games were released.
Oswald is my favourite classic Disney character, although not known well he should be recognized

To infinity and beyond I will love Buzz!

Mulan saved her comrades, all people in China, the emperor and fought Shan Yu. She joined the army and managed to hide her true gender and fought in war. And why did she do that? Because she wanted to protect her father! Cinderella, Ariel and Snow White are iconic princesses, but they didn't do anything by themselves instead of letting themselves being saved by the prince. Mulan is probably the strongest and bravest of all. And she is also very smart because she managed to kill off the enemy with one single canon and managed to hide her true gender until she was badly wounded. Mulan will always be my greatest Disney heroine. Screw Frozen, Mulan was an independent strong woman before it was cool

I choose Lightning Mcqueen because he taught us that without friends, life is just an empty cup. He got it from doc. That's what makes Lightning special.
My favorite Disney character and movie! I've loved cars since it came out 10 years ago when I was only 3
Lightning is the best character there is.

Definitely my favorite Disney character. Loved him since I saw Toy Story 4 a few weeks ago. Next time I go to Disneyland, I'm bringing my money and looking for a Woody toy.
Woody has always been special to me, and he is a great and funny character to watch.
Woody should be at least number 5... come on!

Rapunzel is the best! How can you top a blonde chick with a frying pan! She has an adorable pet frog and her chemistry with Flynn Ryder is perfection. I'm happy that she's higher than the highly overrated Elsa. However, I rate her as the best Disney character of all time! She is smart, beautiful (she can rock two hair colors), and totally bosses with that pan (did I mention). Try to name one other Disney character, or any characte at that, who displays femininity and strength to such a degree and in such harmony! She knows when to stand up for herself and makes some of the toughest decisions imaginable. She is basically a walking fountain of youth but gives all that up to something much greater.
Rapunzel is probably one of the most underrated characters ever and deserves your vote more than any other character on this list! (Except maybe Pocahontas if she's here.)
Bring Rapunzel to the top!

Cinderella reflects the truth of what is happening in today's society. Stepmothers, people who is always envious and try to put you down, I give Cinderella a full 100 percent top cartoon. This warns people out there especially itchy old men to think of their kids instead of thinking of other women to scratch their itchiness.
She is just amazing as she is a classic and her story is well made and tells about some morals and values too. Cinderella is so pretty and totally deserves to be in the list of the bests

I remember when I took a personality quiz to see what Disney Character I was. I was about 13 or 14, and somehow I happened to get Simba! Since then, I have watched the Lion King a thousand times and I've never gotten bored! Thank you Disney for creating this amazing feline! You have all my respect! GRRR
So adorable and great, with just the perfect amount of attitude... Amazing character development. How can anyone not love Simba? The Lion King is definitely, hands down, the best Disney movie I've ever seen.
His father Died when he was young and he has lived with guilt but he is headstrong and confident especially when he returns to Pride Rock to re-claim the throne and overthrow his own uncle Scar.

Many are overpraising Frozen saying that it's the start of the strong female role models from Disney we've encountered recently. I beg to differ as I think it started with 2010's Alice in Wonderland.
This Alice, portrayed by the beautiful Mia Wasikowska, is arguably what gave birth to Angelina Jolie's Maleficent, Lily James' Ella, Go Go Tomago, Honey Lemon, Vanellope and Queen Elsa.
Alice Kingsleigh has a lot of "Muchness". She can believe in as many as 6 impossible things before breakfast. Certainly more of a role model than Elsa and dare I say it Baymax.

This is why I named my beloved pet duck after her. She's one of my favourite Disney cartoon characters. Daisy is adorably cute.
She's one of the sensational six, but strangely, it doesn't change the fact that she is pretty underrated.
This is why I've named my beloved duck (my pets) after this iconic female duck. Daisy is adorably cute.

They're great characters and they're also very famous by the fans who watched the shorts or Rescue Rangers. Those two chipmunks needs more love and should get more votes.
They are better than micky goofy Pluto daisy and mini combined! Also they are always causing trouble with donald!
I love them!
They are just so adorable!
I had tons of chip 'n' dale stuffed animals ever since I was 3!

Mike wazowski is quite possibly the greatest Disney creation ever. Mickey Mouse doesn't deserve to stand next to the mike wazowski. He's probably the most powerful character in the world the presidents aren't even equal to the Michael wazowski. My only problem is that sully isn't on here. Where is the phrase you're GREEN WITH IT I'm really mad that sully isn't on here and I might even sue the top tens list. I think it's just a serious case of fascism and everything else. Mike and sully are classic American heros they should be number one. This is a horrible world cause I'm seriously mad, where is SULLY where is he! I'll sue ya.

As I said with Baymax, if "Frozen' characters are "too new" for this list, characters from a movie that came out *after* "Frozen" are also "too new".
I can't believe this. Hiro's at the 20th rank on this list, but I see no reason why he shouldn't be at the top!
He's a genius boy with a heart for sweet, huggable Baymax. You gotta love him.
