Top 10 Teams Most Likely to Win the NFC Championship in 2020-21
The NFC unlike the AFC is a bit more stacked with talent. Several teams have a shot while there’s a few with almost no chance. I expect this conference to be a fistfight throughout the season. It’ll be fun to watch for sure. Here’s who’s most likely to win the NFC.San Francisco has everything to win the Super Bowl. Last year, they came up just short, but with an efficient run game and a dangerous defense, they should be a strong force again.
Just don't do what the Rams did and you'll be fine. This division should be fun to watch, but I expect a division title for the Niners. With that core, it's almost certain they'll win a Super Bowl at some point.
The Saints are in a critical year. Drew Brees is elite but can't bail them out forever.
The Saints have the talent to win the Super Bowl, but they keep self-destructing at the worst times possible. They will have some competition in their division now, but with guys like Michael Thomas, they will be dangerous yet again.
They'll be fine, that is until they inevitably lose to the Vikings in the playoffs again.
The Vikings have had a really nice offseason. I think they could definitely make some noise this season as a team that wins the division.
If they compete with everyone, there's potential here. Kirk Cousins is a solid QB, and Dalvin Cook is an electrifying weapon on offense. Don't take them lightly.
The Cowboys are in a nice spot right now. They had a great draft and got everyone back: Dak, Zeke, Amari Cooper, and now CeeDee Lamb. This is a team that can make some noise.
Jason Garrett was finally axed for Mike McCarthy. We'll see how that goes. This will be an interesting year for them. Failure to make the playoffs this time is inexcusable, especially with a cakewalk division.
Best team ever, always was, always will be. I love my team always! This team is gonna make it to the conference finals, to say the least, this year.
Normally, I'd say no chance they make it, but now things are interesting. Tom Brady and Gronk are in town, and Bruce Arians is a good coach who knows how to use talent.
Tampa has some nice pieces on offense like Mike Evans, OJ Howard, and Chris Godwin. They're lining up with a shot to win the division. I mean, this could be the most relevant they've been since 2002. Potential and expectations are sky-high.
Seattle is a team you can't count out. However, after a while, you reach a point where Russell Wilson can't bail you out forever. They have some potential, but they also have a stacked division to go up against.
Their defense is going to only get weaker. Let me guess that Russell Wilson makes things interesting as a mediocre squad somehow has a fighting chance in the postseason.
Russell Wilson will have to bail them out, even though Jamal Adams will help.
I can see where everyone is coming from with the "they didn't get better" thing. However, I still think they improved in certain parts of the roster.
They have a top ten running back group in the NFL, and Christian Kirksey is an upgrade over Blake Martinez when healthy. There are definitely questions around this team, like the lack of depth at the defensive line and wide receiver. I personally think they're about the same as last season, with minor changes at right tackle and top inside linebacker. Considering they went 13-3 with a roster that hasn't had much turnover during the offseason, I think they are still contenders.
Now obviously, I'm biased because I'm a fan of the Packers, but I have confidence that they can finally break their NFC Championship Game losing streak, though the NFC as a whole looks difficult.
Yeah, keep sleeping on us. In 2019, this team somehow managed to finish with a winning record, with a good portion of practice squad guys getting valuable playing time.
Now everyone is healthy. They picked up some real WRs in the draft and in free agency. They have a legitimate #1 corner now in Big Play Slay, and they still have the best coach in the division. The Cowboys might have talent, but they lack the mental toughness to go deep in the playoffs. Mike "Carried My Whole Mediocre Coaching Career By Aaron Rodgers' Greatness" McCarthy isn't going to change that.
The sheer gall to rank the Cardinals and their Pac-12 level defense and their non-existent O-Line ahead of an experienced champion and annual playoff contender Eagles team is unbelievably laughable. I shouldn't be surprised. In fact, I'm glad that you are so dismissive. We always do our best work when people overlook us.
The Cardinals maybe got the steal of the century in DeAndre Hopkins. They gave up next to nothing for him. He will pair nicely with Larry Fitzgerald and Kyler Murray.
I don't think it's enough to go anywhere yet, but it's a start. They're going in the right direction, at least, so maybe there's a chance here?
This is an odd long-shot pick, especially with the loaded NFC South. Atlanta might not do enough to stand out from the rest of the division.
Matt Ryan is still a top 10 quarterback in the NFL, so the Falcons have that going for them. Maybe if Julio Jones has a career year and Todd Gurley can use some type of sorcery to revive himself back to 2017/18 form, then there's a chance. But that's a tall order and will be an uphill battle for the Falcons.
