Top 10 Good Things with Terrible Fan Bases
The fans of these things don’t necessarily ruin these things for me, but they can get pretty out of control.
Marvel Comics is the common name and primary imprint of Marvel Worldwide Inc., formerly Marvel Publishing, Inc. STOP ASKING FOR THE INFINITY WAR TRAILER! I saw the trailer while I was at D23 in one of the panels. It was great! I really want everyone else to be able to see a trailer for the movie, but these Marvel fans are acting like Marvel is never going to release it! What is wrong with these fans!? We know an Infinity War trailer is coming! We just have to be patient! Just like Captain America said! Why are people constantly telling them to release the trailer already? No one demanded a trailer this much in the past! Constantly complaining about it isn’t gonna make it come any sooner! It will probably be released when Thor: Ragnarok comes out! That’s just one small problem with Marvel fans. Another thing is they get angry when anyone finds any kind of flaws in the movies! ANY FLAWS! My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated children's television series based on the fourth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The show follows a studious unicorn (later an alicorn) pony named Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) and her friends Applejack (Ashleigh Ball), Rarity (Tabitha St. Germain), Fluttershy (Andrea Libman), Rainbow Dash (Ball), Pinkie Pie (Libman), and dragon assistant Spike (Cathy Weseluck). They travel on adventures and help others around Equestria while solving problems that arise in their own friendships. I like this show and I watch it, but I wouldn’t exactly call myself a brony. Bronies kind of scare me a little bit. They go from simply liking the show to just flat out being creepy. Most of them developed physical attractions towards the characters! Yep! They actually have romantic feelings toward colorful horses! Another problem I have, and I joked about this in my review of the My Little Pony movie, is that the fans seem to be a little too overprotective of the show. When someone criticizes it, they complain. They treat it as if it’s the greatest show ever made. They refuse to admit that there are bad episodes of it. Which there are! Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA. Pretty much everyone on this site has said that the Sonic fan base is awful. And it definitely is! It is such a horrendous fan base! The complain about every single thing! It’s impossible to please them! There’s not really anything new I can say about the fans because literally everyone else has already talked about how terrible they are! It’s pretty much impossible to make a list about the worst fan bases without talking about Sonic! It’s just so hilarious! How can these people be considered fans if they’re just gonna complain about everything that Sega does? A lot of people hate Sonic Boom, which I can understand, but some of the hate for it is pretty unwarranted. It’s bad but not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. So yeah. This is a pretty awful fan base. I can see why literally everyone considers it one of the worst.

The fact that someone actually made a petition to remove the Last Jedi from the Star Wars canon officially makes me consider the Star Wars fanbase to be the worst fanbase ever.

Why is it that it’s okay to call a Star Wars movie a Disney film but people get angry when someone calls a Pixar movie a Disney film? It seems as though whenever a new Star Wars film comes out, people look for reasons to hate it. Because they are too used to the original trilogy. They constantly treat the original trilogy as if it’s perfect when honestly it’s not. There are quite a few plot holes and other things that don’t make sense. They’re still fantastic films though! But they’re not flawless. Except for Empire Strikes Back. There’s no denying that. People were excited for the Force Awakens, but then they ended up being disappointed because it was too similar to the first movie! DC Comics, Inc. is an American comic book publisher. It is the publishing unit of DC Entertainment, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. DC Comics is one of the largest and oldest American comic book companies. This one goes without saying. Most DC fans are always defending their movies and say they deserve more love than they get! It’s cool that they’re defending the recent DC films, but the problem is they tell everyone that they are wrong for hating on the films. When Batman v Superman came out, DC fans were angry that people were hating on it! Some of the people complaining hadn’t even seen the film yet and they were already defending it! How can you defend something that hasn’t come out yet? And when Suicide Squad came out and people were hating on it, the fans were furious! They even started a petition to shut down Rotten Tomatoes because of the low scores the movies have been getting! Here’s an idea! Maybe if DC actually made good movies, then maybe critics won’t be so hard on the movies! Come on! I don’t hate DC, but their recent movies haven’t been very good. Except for Wonder Woman. It’s too bad most of the fans don’t realize that.
Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Adult Swim. My best friend loves this cartoon, but he says the fan base causes him to enjoy the show less. I mostly avoid it, so I still really enjoy it, but that Shezuan stuff really made me see what he was talking about.
I was going to vote for Sonic, but after seeing this on the list, I knew wha to give my vote too. I love the sow, I hate the fanbase. Pickle Rick was probably the worst episodde of the series, FIGHT ME
After that whole fiasco with many of the Rick and Morty fans throwing protests over Szechuan Sauce at McDonald's and that the POLICE of all people had to get involved in this controversy, I think it goes without saying that no other fandom could possibly be more toxic than the Rick and Morty fandom.

I’m not gonna give a long explanation for this one since IHE already made a video talking about the fans of this show. In fact, that video was the main reason why I wanted to make this list. Rick and Morty’s a fine show. I understand why people like it. The fans can be pretty out of control sometimes. I always see people on the internet quoting lines from the show. Such as “I’m Pickle Rick! ” and stuff like that. It gets really annoying. I remember at Comic-Con this year, Rick and Morty fans and cosplayers were pretty much everywhere! It’s great to see people enjoying this cartoon, but the fan base is really out of hand.

I did a whole rant on this already but I really do not ship Starco. It is just way too cliché. Every time, literally every time, when something is made that involves a boy and a girl doing stuff together, the fans ship it! Even before we get to know the characters the fans would often ship it! When the first episode of the show aired, people were already wanting the two main characters to end up together! People made fan fiction about it! And because of that, the show is starting to go in that route! In fact, it kind of already has! I went to the Star vs. panel at Comic-Con which you can find on my YouTube and Daron Nefcy made it pretty clear that she ships Starco. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, also known as Tower of Terror, is an accelerated drop tower dark ride located at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Tokyo DisneySea, Walt Disney Studios Park, and formerly located at Disney California Adventure Park. Except for the Tokyo DisneySea version, the attractions are inspired by Rod Serling's anthology television series, The Twilight Zone, and take place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel in Hollywood, California. I didn’t think I was gonna put a theme park attraction on this list, but I just had to. When Tower of Terror got replaced by Guardians of the Galaxy at DCA, people were furious. I was skeptical about the idea as well. But after actually riding Guardians, I really enjoyed it! However, there are still some Tower fans who don’t accept it. There are fans who rode Guardians and claimed that they hated it and others that refuse to ride it. Their criticisms, however, are terrible! They say Guardians sucks because it’s nothing but screens and no practical effects! Can you name one practical effect in Tower of Terror? No? That’s because there aren’t any! At least Guardians has ONE practical effect! The Rocket Raccoon animatronic! They complain that Guardians has a weak story. Probably pointless to put this on the list since the praise for this movie has faded out of existence, but it still has its fans. And those fans pretty much treat it like it’s the greatest Disney film of all time! Forget about Fantasia and Lion King! Frozen has a talking snowman and a girl with ice powers! That automatically makes it the best! In all seriousness though, this isn’t a bad movie. It’s a great Disney movie but it gets more attention than it deserves. I must admit, there are other movies that kind of did what Frozen does but a little better. So what is it about this film that people consider to be one of the best? Sure the movie has a great soundtrack and sure the movie has great voice acting. I feel bad that Kristen Bell is gonna be in the Teen Titans Go movie. The Loud House is an American animated television series created by Chris Savino for Nickelodeon. The series revolves around the chaotic suburban everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud and his ten sisters, to which he survives as the middle child and only son in a large family of eleven children. Originally set to premier on January 2016, the series instead premiered on May 2, 2016, with the episodes Left in the Dark and Get the Message. We owe it all to Deviant Art and those so called "artists." They have incest shippings and pedophilic fanart. Every one of Lincoln's sisters and Ronnie Anne are heavily sexualized. YouTube has cringeworthy videos full of God awful parodies and sideshows of the Loud sisters in bikinis. There are fanfictions where Lincoln gets his sisters pregnant. There's also foot worship and fart fetish. It's gross and wrong. These guys are the reason that Loud House gets a lot of hate. In fact, it's almost fair to say that they are the cause of the majority of hate that the Loud House gets. This is coming from a huge fan of Loud House. It is one of Nickelodeon's best new shows. Yet, they make this show unwatchable for lots of people. It's about a boy named Lincoln Loud with 10 sisters, not a kid with an incestuous harem. The Loud House is the only good show that’s currently airing on Nickelodeon. It has become very popular and I absolutely love it! It’s even getting its own theatrical movie in a couple of years! What I don’t love is most of the fans! If you go on Deviantart or Rule 34 or some other fan art website, you’ll find some pretty creepy images. People are actually drawing pornographic images of the characters! I know people do this with pretty much every cartoon, but this is too far! The girls in this show are underage! People are even drawing inappropriate images of the youngest siblings! There’s currently a cartoon on Netflix called Big Mouth that a lot of people already hate just by the trailer alone because they think it’s nothing but child pornography. I love anime, but I usually consider myself a casual fan. I feel really uncomfortable with associating myself with the anime fandom, which is why I never interact within it.
