Top 10 Best Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Missions

If you've ever roamed the expansive world of San Andreas, you know the game is filled to the brim with an insane variety of missions. From high-speed chases down Los Santos highways to daring heists in the heart of Las Venturas casinos, there's no shortage of jaw-dropping moments.

The beauty of GTA: San Andreas isn't just the open-world gameplay, but the stories that unfold through these amazing missions. Whether it's character development or the sheer adrenaline rush, these missions serve as the beating heart of the game. So, go ahead and cast your votes; let's collectively decide which missions deserve to be labeled as the most thrilling, memorable, and utterly mind-blowing experiences in this classic game.
The Top Ten
1 End of The Line - Riots

Although this mission had three parts to it, it was still the best mission in the game. Also, what was the name of the mission that required me to break into a military base? That was a good one too.

Absolutely the #1. A lot of the rest of the top ten sucks, though. Not only is this the greatest mission in San Andreas, the epic finale of "End of the Line" is the best moment in the entire series.

Should be number 1. By far the best mission, better than stealing a jetpack from an unrealistic version of Area 51. Plus, we get to see an emotional goodbye from Big Smoke. Laugh out loud.

This is definitely the best, as we get to clear out a crack fortress full of bullies and then kill Tenpenny. Also, this mission is set in the riots that are meant to be the LA riots in the 90s. Oh, and we see an emotional goodbye between CJ and Sweet, laugh out loud.

2 Black Project - Airstrip

Though End of the Line is the most complete mission, if I had to choose one, this would be my choice. This is just more fascinating than the final mission. The first part is amazing because you can do it any way: you can shoot the guards with the sniper rifle, or you can follow the soldiers one by one and kill them with the knife or the silenced pistol. My favorite way, however, is to make a massacre with my M4. The second part is very hard, and the final fight is absolutely epic. A 5-star mission.

I can't wait to fly on jetpacks and fly all over the country, except the terrorist locations! Plus, do they really have aliens in Area 51?

Daddy mission. Imagine something like this in V.

Really, it is the best.

3 Breaking the Bank at Caligula's - Heist

This mission is the best, in my opinion. Since this is a heist, which involves many setup missions. Stealing the 4 police bikes and getting the swipecard from Millie was hard, though, but it was worth it since you have an awesome heist and the reward being $100,000.

It's a casino heist that is being planned over the course of several missions. It's easily the most memorable mission outside the main storyline involving Big Smoke.

All the effort of many previous missions comes down to this mission. We can see that all the things we have done before are in this mission. And the reward is also great: $100,000.

Fun mission with Woozie and others inside the casino! It's like being James Bond, trying to break into a casino to rob money.

4 Madd Dogg's Rhymes - OG Loc

Detective mission. Very interesting.

It's like Splinter Cell in gangsta form!

This is a cool mission.

I passed that mission, and I almost started to laugh when CJ slit the throat of one dude on the couch. That was easy!

5 End of the Line - Riots (Ending)
6 Deconstruction - Garage

I loved burying the guy in the toilet and destroying portables. Really funny mission. I also loved the schools, they were fun. I don't know why flying school is No. 6.

Good mission. I love shotgunning all the workers and climbing back in my dozer.

That's nice. Really good. One great mission. I love this mission. Once there was a boy. He was sexy.

7 A Home in the Hills - Mansion
8 Amphibious Assault

Rad. Intense. This mission is probably one of the greatest realistic missions I've ever played in the Grand Theft Auto series.

Awesome and challenging mission. This mission rocks. It's the best mission, of course, in Grand Theft Auto SA.

9 Burning Desire - C.R.A.S.H

Love being fireproof.

10 Reuniting the Families

I'm on this mission next, after two missions from Big Smoke, one from OG Loc, and High Stakes Low Rider. Do you have to complete High Stakes Low Rider to unlock this mission or not?

Not number one, but this mission was so much fun, especially the ending.

My favorite by far. The bit with the police chase at the end has some real comedy in it.

Best mission by far.

The Contenders
11 The Da Nang Thang - Woozie

One of the worst things about this mission is that you lose all your weapons after an RPG hits your helicopter.

12 Freefall
13 Vertical Bird - Toreno

I saved right before playing this mission and saved my progress in another slot so that I can always come back to play the same mission. I purposely played around with the enemy jets to have that dogfight atmosphere.

You just have to steal a military jet off an amphibious vehicle and use it to destroy a flotilla of spy ships. Nothing to it!

Steal a jet from the navy and then have a dogfight in the air. Classic.

14 Just Business - Big Smoke

Second half (especially the truck jump part and everything exploding) is total badass.

If Big Smoke and I share one trait, it's that neither of us has met a Russian.

The shootout with the bike was the greatest thing about this mission.

Sexy mission. Killing vodka merchants was OP.

15 In The Beginning...
16 Highjack - Toreno
17 High Noon - Casino
18 Tanker Commander - Catalina

Why does Catalina get angry when it disconnects? You can just reconnect it!

It's the worst Catalina mission, but it's still good. I wouldn't rank it as one of the best, though. It's still good.

19 Learning to Fly - Airstrip
20 Pier 69
21 Snail Trail - C.R.A.S.H
22 Wrong Side of the Tracks - Big Smoke

Oh f***! An oncoming train!

23 Body Harvest - The Truth
24 Drive-Thru - Sweet

God, Big Smoke eats a lot!

25 NOE - Toreno

Easy once used to it
