Some people say Trevor is a psychopath, but he isn't. He just had a bad childhood. If you really pay attention to the game, you can see he is very caring. For instance, when he wanted to kill Lazlow for touching Tracy, he looked like he cared more about Tracy than Michael.
He is very nice if you think about it. When Franklin had to kill one of the guys and he picks Michael, Trevor says no when Franklin asks for his help. This shows that even though Trevor was betrayed by his best friend and has every right to kill him, he doesn't want to. This means his friendship with Michael is more important to him than revenge.
He also took Martin's wife because Martin abused her. When he did, he started having feelings for her. She loved him too but had to go back to Martin. When Trevor said he would cut off Martin's other ear if he abused her again, it showed that he really loved Martin's wife. Also, he was crying when he was bringing Patricia (Martin's wife) back home. He's a good guy.

It's Michael's story. Trevor wanted his old friendship in the wild, while Michael had a family to care for, so I don't blame Michael for everything.
Trevor is the most loyal, but he should have understood that he can't just be a psycho forever. However, I actually can't blame him either because he is so lonely. He just wanted a ride-or-die friendship.
Franklin was the "take the opportunity" guy. He wanted the good life. That's what he came for. Frank gets the credit he deserves because he is the only one in the ghetto with a brain.
Lamar was the opposite of Franklin, just like Franklin's siblings. They don't know much. They think that the street is the best thing for them, living the same broke life every day while Franklin wanted more from life.
However, you can't judge any of them, but you can learn very much from it.

Franklin Clinton

Franklin Clinton is one of the three main protagonists in the video game Grand Theft Auto V. He is a former gang member looking to move up in the criminal world of Los Santos. Along with Michael De Santa and Trevor Philips, Franklin is central to the game's story and missions.

The humblest character in almost every game, the type of guy looking for the best opportunities and the good life! You can't hate him. By far, he is my favorite.

Franklin has a great chill personality, the best special ability, free upgrades for any car after buying LS Customs, and even a dog which can attack his opponents. He is the best in every way.

Franklin should be the second best. Mike, just in my opinion, is the center of attention and bosses everyone around.

Jimmy De Santa

"My brotha from anotha motha! Well, I hope, 'cause my mom was kind of a skank back in the day." One of the funniest lines in the game from Jimmy to Franklin.

Chop

He mates with another male dog during one mission. First dog in the Grand Theft Auto series. He is referred to by Franklin as "little homie."

First dog in Grand Theft Auto. I guess Franklin would say, "Here, Chop, here boy!" and whistle.

The first dog you could actually put to good use in a Grand Theft Auto game.

He makes some pretty funny comments at times.

Lester was a very unique character. He could hack anything and had a sense of humor. He was weird but played the part so well.

Lester is why you should never make enemies with a hacker regardless of how weird he is.

She could be quite annoying sometimes, but she is nowhere near as bad as Jimmy, who drugged his father. Also, she does love her dad in a way but doesn't show it. She is hot, which is one of the main reasons I like her.

He's so sympathetic and courageous. He reminds me so much of my history teacher, and they look very alike. His voice is music to my ears. I'm not gay, though.

My favorite character in Grand Theft Auto V (yes, even better than Trevor, Michael, and Franklin). He would make a great protagonist in a Grand Theft Auto game. If it wasn't for him, Niko wouldn't even have kidnapped Gracie. Packie helped Niko a lot in Grand Theft Auto IV and makes a great gunman in Grand Theft Auto V.
