Top 10 Hell's Kitchen Contestants That Did Not Get a Black Jacket

The Top Ten
1 Anthony - Season 11

Zach and Susan put tugether in one body would still be less deserving than Anthony. His performance for one night was like Mary's first 5 and she came 2nd while he was kicked out based on that before the final 5 missing a black jacket. What downward spiral Chef Ramsay? He was so respectful and perseverant ans he struggled with a sprained ankle through all difficulties.

Anthony was without a doubt one of the best chefs in the 11th season. Zach, Susan and Mary were all pathetic. I think he had the best shot at winning Hell's Kitchen. It's pretty sad how one bad dinner service puts you below a lying, disrespectful chef with like three or four bad services.

Anthony without a doubt should be number 1. He was absolutely robbed of 5th place; much better than both Susan and ESPECIALLY Zach. Zach had MULTIPLE bad services, and Anthony had ONE MISTAKE ever, and he gets eliminated. It was pathetic.

Jon should have not been the only male chef in a black jacket, Anthony deserved that more than Susan and Zach (despite him not getting a black jacket). One of the most unfair eliminations in Hell's Kitchen history.

2 Natalie - Season 9

She didn't deserve to go when she did; she was mostly consistent even the night when she had bass returned she was still better than loudmouth Elise who then had the nerve to lie. An absolute injustice. Elise should've gone that night.

A good chef and seemed like a nice lady, but apparently, sweet girls don't make great cooks. Clapping and wishing good luck to the eliminated chefs is just awesome, her only catty moment was her feud with Jonathon. She was the polar opposite of Elise.

She was pretty much the female Vinny in season 9 where she was the one to beat in the beginning, and then she had an infamous downfall on episodes 7-11. It is a shame too, because she seems to be really likeable (more likeable than Elise).

She saved the blue team midway from collapsing like a deck of cards. She was the leader that the blue team of season 11 didn't have, and we saw what happened to them.

3 Louross - Season 4

How in the heck did he get eliminated whilst Jen, Bobby and Matt got black jackets. Matt was nuts and a crybaby. Jen was just full of BS and attitude whilst Bobby...I just didn't like him. Louross was a much better cook and had passion. He was a bit of a dork but he was loveable.

Hey Guys you what funny Petrozza said he had Louross's back and yet he choose to eliminate him over Jen. He does get some karma after him making lose the season finale

That moment Petrozza told Ramsay to send Louross home was one of the saddest moments for me. Jen should have gone home.

Jen ruined him. He deserved the black jacket. To this day I question why the great Petrozza would choose to save Jen.

4 Brian - Season 10

He took the piss out of Ramsay in the middle of a service, which may have been what pissed him off, but Brian was a good watch. And a good chef. It's just a shame that apparently Chef Ramsay was looking for passion over someone who could actually cook, hence his decision to get rid of Brian and save Robyn.

Chef Ramsay only hated his attitude and level of seriousness but he could cook. Robyn was picked over him because of her passion, which made no sense because she was in a downward spiral.

Robyn the robber - She was kept on the show over an actually good chef (Brian) just because she's a dramatic loudmouth

Brian was a good chef and he should have gotten a black jacket over Robyn

5 Randy - Season 14

How Josh Trovato got a black jacket in that season and Randy Bell didn't is beyond me. Simply having a lack of experience shouldn't override all of the errors that Josh made in that season.

He did deserve a black jacket but I don't think he is on Meghan's, Milly's, or T's level to win the competition.

Should won that season def

6 Vinny - Season 8

Vinny was my favourite right from the beginning. Was so sad to see him go.

Looking for 10th, I believe, he deserved more than Gail, because she was out of the kitchen

Vinny should have stayed and Russel should have been eliminated.

Should have gotten black jacket and eliminated Sabrina

7 Anton - Season 12

Take him off this list! Talent does not excuse or make up for high levels of arrogance!

Very strong chef and his voice reminded me of Chef Scott

8 Zach - Season 11

Best performer up until the end? HA! His first service was a total fluke! He only got worse and worse as the season progressed. In episode 4, he wasted a bunch of salmon because he didn't cook it to order, and then he tried to cut corners and serve some of the salmon he already cooked, and then he lied when Chef Ramsay confronted him. In episode 10, he kept failing to serve enough portions of potatoes, and snapped at Chef Ramsay when confronted, and he acted childish after he was nominated that night. The next episode, he tried to sabotage Ray with cold sauce. In episode 15, he fell apart even more and even made excuses for his bad performance, and somehow didn't get eliminated. Then the next episode was the final nail in the coffin for Zach. He wasn't the best performer up until the end, he was only the best for the first service. His cooking and his attitude only worsened as the season progressed.

He might not be everyone's favorite, but he had good qualities too. He could cook, did quite well in challenges, left with class and had a good attitude in the finale. Unquestionably he had his bad moments, but I'd say he got eliminated at the right time.

He had a better attitude then Jen, Robyn, and Elise

Take him off this list right now!

9 Fernando - Season 13

He should have gotten a black jacket over Santos/Roe! He can cook better than those two chefs combined.

Really don't get why he was eliminated so early it made no sense

10 Hassan - Season 15

Him being eliminated is what made Hell's Kitchen 15 in my opinion the worst season of hell's kitchen for 2 reasons. 1. this season was just straight up reality and bull drama, yes the other seasons had the people who started drama and stayed longer than necessairy i.e Elise (HK9). However everyone seemed to hate eachother and not wanted to work as a team. Except for Hassan. Everyone was always accusing eachother of something and there were barely any likable chefs with the exceptions of Kristin, Ashley, Manda, Sharkeena, Alan, Joe, Eddie, Chad. Hassan. It's just that there were people on that season that were so annoying that pissed me off like Frank, Jackie and Jared. Frank espeacially.

He had been forced to switch to a sinking red team and he brought them up to par with his assertiveness. His cooking for one night shouldn't have been the reason he was sent home. That red team got me so angry beacause of their ungratefulness that after the last man standing, Jared, went home, I stopped watching that season

One of the biggest what moments of all hell's kitchen when he was eliminated one bad service and he was out when some get 3 even 4 chances...

One mediocre service and he gets the boot? His elimination along with Anthony's were the only ones that I thought were bull.

The Contenders
11 Jamie - Season 9

Another good chef eliminated because of "entertainment purposes".

Jamie was a strong chef.

12 Koop - Season 16

Was the most consistent on a dysfunctional team and had potential to be a leader, sadly he could have used it more though. Also love the hair and the tatoos.

His elimination was unfair because Paulie did worse than him and was less consistent!

He at least helped Ryan win when Wendy was struggling.

13 Brad - Season 3

Brad had more skill than Josh so I think he should be further up the list.

Way better than Josh the Best of the Best in the final

14 Ben - Season 4

Why Ben? He could barely cook and his attitude was crap.

15 Chad - Season 15

Ramsay kept going after him but I thought Chad was great, the most vocal out of all of them by far and he reminded me of Scott a lot

Again, Chad was a strong chef, but Chef Ramsay is looking for an egomaniac who just displays passion and nothing but passion.

Should finish further than Jackie or (especially) Frank

One of the only good guys of his season

16 Sterling - Season 13

This guy definitely deserved a black jacket. He was a good chef with a positive attitude always being 100!

There's a reason he kept his jacket how Sade didn't get out early I don't know

He should be number 1

17 Patrick - Season 10

He has a ton of good leadership qualities but if he cooked better he would have a good chance of winning the competition

18 Ji - Season 5

I feel it was absolutely magical that she got to keep her jacket. I felt she had a lot of potential early on. I wonder if her ankle healed it?

Ji was very strong but unfortunately, her injured ankle got in the way.

She showed some dedication.

Very sad. I bet she could beat Danny and win the competition. But the injury. Ji lives matter.

19 Sabrina - Season 6

She is the worst female contestant at cooking meat by a light year

I would have given her the black jacket instead of Suzanne

20 Bret - Season 14

Easily a black jacket if he hadn't busted his back.

Bret's attitude only appeared after challenge losses, but in dinner service he was easily one of the best.

He was the best chef of the men's team in season 14, if he didn't hurt his back, he would the winner if hell kitchen season 14. I hope he returns in season 17 or 18 and win hell kitchen. Doesn't what happened in the blue kitchen, he found a way to step up every service

He came back as a veteran

21 Eddie - Season 15

He so shouldn't have been eliminated! Does Chef Ramsay seriously see Joe and Jackie as better chefs and/or leaders?

Frank and Chad was worse than Eddie on the service that he was eliminated. How come he was eliminated?!

He's good all right

22 Elizabeth - Season 9

Elizabeth didn't get a black jacket cause big lips and weird hair Elise had to get in the way.

She was not very bright natlele deserved a black jacket more than elise and Elizabeth combined

She deserved it more than Elise

Should have been in the final 3

23 Alison - Season 14

If only she didn't mess up on that last service. Still can't believe she was eliminated over Josh, though.

I can't believe if she didn't ger a black jacket

She's my Jamaican sister. I think she should have been black jacket instead of Josh as he had too many chances, plus she had more talent, passion, attitude and other qualities in a chef

Alison had ONE bad service. Josh had FOUR.

24 Devin - Season 16

Chef Ramsay clearly had a soft spot for Paulie. Devin could cook for sure, but passion always wins out over talent and experience on Hell's Kitchen.

He was way better than Paulie

25 Rachel - Season 2

Better than Virginia and Sara combined considering Ramsay gave up on her too early in my opinion

She was one of the hardest working contestants in Hell's Kitchen. RIP :(

She had passion and she worked hard but still was crap.
