Most Overrated Cartoons

The Top Ten Most Overrated Cartoons

1 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is a children's animated fantasy television series developed by Lauren Faust, produced by Hasbro Studios and DHX Media Vancouver. Despite the target demographic of young girls, Friendship Is Magic has also gained a large following of older viewers, mainly young and more.

Ok, I will put my hands up here. This show DOES succeed in few fields, like animation and morals.

Sadly, that's all this show has on it. The characters are a mix bag, ranging from tolerable and few laughs worthy like Pinkie Pie and Discord, to downright AWFUL like Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Also, the MUSIC! Oh god, WHY?!? The music is just trying too hard to be hip and cool for us today kids, (I'm looking at you cutie mark crusaders) but it fails FLAT on its unmusical face.

And the fandom...

This has to be, the WORST fandom I have EVER seen, and I don't mean it lightly. For FANS, they SURE talk about having sex and wanting to RAPE their favorite pony more than to my pleasure of reading! Just because I am a fan of "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi" I don't wish to rape them. Have some respect guys!

Speaking of which, My Little Pony show seems to have QUITE a influence from Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, hasn't it? Cute little girls as the main characters? Check. More often ...more

Seriously, not every bronies are like that, and its just your opinion. - fazwe

This show isn't a bad show, but why does everyone think that this is the greatest thing in the world since the invention of television? It's a cute show, but it's not that great.

This should be first! It is most overrated cartoon in history! I has very impressive voice acting and animation. But there are much more better cartoons which have no popularity at all!

I still don't understand why grown men watch this crap (not because its for girls) it's because there is nothing special about it, the characters are annoying and uninteresting, the setting is a generic cliched fantasy land, the background ponies are even more annoying, the plots are weak, I hate the songs. Etc. I guess people like it because they have nothing else to do or maybe people like bright animation but one thing is for sure Indian shows are way more overrated.

2 Adventure Time Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake (voiced by John DiMaggio)—a dog with the magical power to change shape more.

This show just fails on so many levels.

The humour is disgusting, stupid random and shows no sign of wit. I wouldn't mind it if it was just stupid, because I enjoy stupid humour. But due to the other flaws, the comedy in this show just doesn't work. I WILL admit however that Jake does have a few good lines.

The fantasy element I absolutely despise. It's imaginative, but there's no thought or originality put in there. Every place having a princess, the typical evil king that wants to capture them. The setting obviously had no work put into it. Dungeons and other things of the Fantasy sort.

Look, I give this show kudos for being successful at being random, which was its goal, but it's just not as good as everyone paints it out to be. It's not the funniest show ever, nor is it a masterpiece. It's just one of the bad cartoons that CN has taken to playing on their once great channel.

And don't say that it's just not aimed at people like me. This show should ...more

Totally overrated. Adventure time only shows butts, perverts, p*rn and other bad plots. Except for Marceline, Ice king and Fire princess. PB is weird and annoying. The episode about getting the flower's souls, showed a gay scene. Bmo likes to get laid and junk. I director must really like p*rnagrophy. I rather watch Regular show. Ben 10 omniverse is dumb and annoying, Pokemon B&W is to friendly and childish, GUMBALL is homosexual, Beyblade metal has dumb characters, lego NINJAGO is good but need to better up the plot and the animation. Scan2go is a spinoff of Beyblade and teen titans go is really annoying. Announcer of this show is annoying to. I really miss the old one. At least Generator Rex, Ben 10 UA, Star Wars, etc are good. To me, it's the new CN president's fault. For showing inappropriate shows and movies. Boomerang is like Nick toons, Jetix and Toon Disney. They show old shows. Including 4kids and Vortex.

I agree with you that the show sucks but there are a few points which you got them wrong like Scan2go being a "spinoff" of Beyblade. Both anime were made to promote toy products, that's it. Perhaps the creator/director took a few ideas of Beyblade and added them to Scan2go but other than that, I see nothing's in common between them. Still, Scan2go is better. - xXLittleQueensXx

I know this show has a colossal fan base and if your one of those people that loves it that's great! I'm not saying I hate Adventure Time nor do I like it, it's an okay cartoon in my eyes. I find that the show tries too hard to be funny at times and the storylines are lame as math. That doesn't mean it's bad though. The animation is great and I do love how much imagination there is put into this cartoon. Not to mention they've got really good voice talents like Tom Kenny from SpongeBob. But overall Adventure Time is a cartoon not bad just not as good as most people say it is. I do however get annoyed when fans threaten to bully those who have negative opinions of the show. Really? That's just plain cruel and mean spirited.

How is this not number one. Everything about this show sucks! Keep in mind this is a list for overrated cartoons. There is no denying that this is the most overrated show in history. It has gotten to the point where there is merchandise for everything in every store. I just hate it. The humor is dumbed down and immature, yet too mature for the five-year olds I see wearing the merch, and somehow, too immature for the people I see in there twenties wearing it. Watch two minutes of this show and you should feel dumber immediately. The opening theme is like a trip on shrooms. Just know that if you love this show, I probably hate you for supporting the most mind numbing and horribly nonsensical show to ever exist.

3 SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator the late Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 20 years, and is beginning its 12th season. more.

As much as I loved this show growing up, this is SEVERELY overrated. Especially knowing SpongeBob's current state, with its good-bad episode ratio being not-so-good due to Nickelodeon milking the show. It's getting hard for me to at least check out the newer episodes because of the overabundance of mediocre/uninteresting episodes and the worsening of every character (except Gary, Plankton, and maybe Karen). I downright disagree with everyone who said that Squidward didn't worsen because of episodes like Little Yellow Book.
However, it's simply a hyperbole for me to say that all/most of the post-movie/post-sequel episodes (the ones I've seen, at least) were "god-awful"; there had been some really good/memorable episodes, such as Krusty Towers, Squid Noir, Mimic Madness, Planet of the Jellyfish, and Gary in Love. However, some, if not most, had been overshadowed by the worst episodes, like One Coarse Meal and Ink Lemonade, which contributes to people's extremely heavy hatred towards ...more - Jasmine21064

Seasons 1-3, the movie and a few episodes from seasons 4 and 5 are really underrated if you ask me. But, other than that, the new episodes are completely god awful and really overrated. Now the executives at nickelodeon are making him the ONLY thing on nickelodeon. AND you know what is worse, they refuse to show the older episodes. As lemongrab would say "this is UNACCEPTAABBLLEE!

Personally, I like the newer episodes alright, but the first 3 seasons do have a lot of the most memorable moments and best episodes out of the whole series.

Just like Family Guy in this. It got worse when Season 5 ended, and for years it was nothing but gratuitous grossout gags, Plankton (the "villain") being a saint compared to Mr. Krabs (who drives people to suicide and intentionally poisons his customers), Squidward being beaten up for no reason and sadism for the sake of it (watch Stuck in the Wringer and The Cent of Money for prime examples). - KalloFox34

Nickelodeon keeps pushing this one because a third of their profits comes from it. They wanna keep it running forever. They never want SpongeBob to end. It's WAY past its time and it needs to end now so we can enjoy the past. But it will have to end one day, and I'll be waiting. And waiting.

No, TWO thirds of their profits come from the show. Also, they don't let us enjoy because they rarely play episodes in seasons 1-5. - Goatworlds

4 Family Guy Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter (Idiotic Dad) and Lois (Nagging Wife), their children Meg (Socially Awkward Daughter) Chris (Idiotic Son), and Stewie more.

Why in the world is Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Animaniacs, and Tom and Jerry above this show? Those shows are fantastic. Family Guy, on the other hand, is filled with stupid cutaway gags, gross humor, and preachyness from Seth MacFarlane. All of the characters on the show are unlikeable (especially Brian! ) and stereotypes of sitcom characters. Some moments on this show like the 3 minute Conway Twitty cutaway gag and the scene with the raccoon chewing on Stewie's brain are unbearable to watch. If you like pure randomness with a paper-thin plot, bland characters, liberal lecturing, and jokes that run for way too long, this is the show for you.

This show really went down the gutter after Season 7 or so. Before that, it was an awesome program. Nowadays, it's nothing more than characters acting like remorseless sadists, ratings traps, Meg being abused and morals being shoehorned in. - KalloFox34

I feel like this show is overrated cause everyone worships it but all it's just a rip off from the Simpsons. They go a little to far in some episodes as well

The only reason I chose this show is because one time I someone said there was something wrong with me for liking The Simpsons more than this. This show is very funny, but it isn't that great on almost every other level. The characters are either forgettable or unlikable, the story's are lazy, and the pacing is rarely good (usually it is either sporadic or just stops) and that was when it was at its best. Nowadays it is one of the least likable shows on T.V. , with easy to hate characters, offensive and manipulative stories and occasionally horrible morals, but even when it was decent it was overrated.

5 Steven Universe Steven Universe is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network. The show's based around a young boy by the name of Steven Universe, who is a hybrid of a gem and a human. He lives with his gem friends, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl.

This show is INSANELY overrated. While I'll admit that the show itself is pretty good, the fanbase is utter GARBAGE. Watch the show if you want, but stay as FAR away from the fanbase as possible.

Because they drove a girl that drew fan art for the show nearly to suicide and they thought it was funny. So yeah, the people in this show's fanbase are like satanists or something. - phillysports

Honestly, it's sad how people are simply turned off from a show based on its fandom. Those people should formulate their opinions and actually watch the show. Steven Universe should not be judged based on bullies who were fans of it. Yes, they did a terrible thing to that poor girl, but their behavior in no way whatsoever relates to the show itself nor the messages it sends out to the audience. In no way does Steven Universe encourage such awful behavior, but you have to understand that there are extremists that exist in every fandom that simply must be ignored. As for those of you who have seen Steven Universe and disliked it- let me make this clear: SU is a coming-of-age cartoon; as in, Steven CHANGES. He may seem like a silly little boy at first (who cares about his weight though? ) but in the recent episodes he is a totally lovable and mature character. If you can't handle the first few episodes (which are mainly experimental) then you don't really deserve to see Steven Universe ...more

It's a fine show, I do like it, I just don't see why it gets so much credit. - SnailPony

Don't take this the wrong way, this cartoon is solid. However, I feel people give this show FAR too much credit. The characters are a mixed bag of decent (ie Garnet, Greg, Steven, the Cool Kids, and sometimes Amethyst), annoying (ie Pearl, Lars, Ronaldo, Onion, and some other times Amethyst), and plain overrated (ie Rose Quartz, Lapis Lazuli, and Ruby and Sapphire). The fandom of this show hype it as the greatest thing to happen in the history of history. Plus, the fandom of this show is the most obsessive fandom I have ever been apart of (some fans tell people to kill themselves for drawing the characters "the wrong way"). In short, just watch the show and avoid the fandom at all costs.

This show is very overrated. VERY. A lot of the fan base is annoying and rude as well (not all but most are).

6 Phineas and Ferb Phineas and Ferb is an American animated comedy-musical television series. Originally broadcast as a one-episode preview on August 17, 2007 and again previewed on September 28, 2007, the series officially premiered on February 1, 2008 and ended on June 12, 2015 on Disney Channel, and follows Phineas more.

You know what's really annoying about this show? Candace is a teenager who looks like she's almost out of high school, yet she's such a tattletale, whenever she sees the boys made something she goes and screams for their mom just like a 5 year old, also what is up with their mom? Every time Candace goes and gets her she's always like "Candace I have groceries" or something stupid like that, then in every single episode, when she comes home she only says 2 more lines "Candace what am I looking at? " And "Who wants pie? " Also why is she never home? In every single episode she always goes somewhere only to come back at the end of the episode just to see that the invention is gone, the only entertaining part was Perry, but even they ran out of ideas, now the inventions are poorly named, and the purpose of them is getting weirder and weirder, and all the stuff with Perry in newer episodes seems like it's being rushed, in the older episodes they spend a good ...more

It's the exact same thing every episode!
Boys have idea to build something.
Big sister tries to tell mom and dad
Perry goes and beats up weird guy.
Big sister fails and Perry comes back!
Also, the mother comes back with something she made like cookies or something.
Just a copy of Dexter's laboratory!

Woops this show's fandom is nice I meant to say the SU fandom is completely trash

This show is pretty much an overlay that tries to cover the rest of Disney Channel's unwatchable programming. And even then, it's still a very hard show to watch. I made a 2 page review on the show already on another blog, so here's a short summary.

The voice acting is annoying, the plot is monotonous, there are way too many songs, the characters are 1/2 dimensional, the designs are offputting, and it's EVERYWHERE!

7 Pokemon Pokémon, abbreviated from the Japanese title of Pocket Monsters and currently advertised in English as Pokémon: The Series, is a Japanese anime television series, which has been adapted for the international television markets.

The anime is decent, but it sucks compared to both the games (which are Nintendo's best work) and other anime series. - KalloFox34

Here are my 5 Overrated cartoons

5. Pokemon (forever)
4. Archer
3. Peppa pig
2. Happy tree
1. Ed Edd and Eddy.

Alright, I really, really, REALLY, love Pokemon. Both the games and the anime... but... it's just so OVERRATED! But, yet again, it's so hard to hate due to it's creativeness, cuteness, and awesomeness... but it's all my opinion. I'm just kind of sick of hearing it everywhere over and over again. And about the anime, I like the anime but not as much as the games. There's just WAY too many seasons based on the games, when I feel like they should've put them all together. Some of the characters are quite annoying (Bonnie from XY&Z was the most annoying.). However, Ash and his Pikachu had unforgettable moments that made everyone love the anime, even the villains Team Rocket (Jessie, James, Meowth and Wobbuffet) are very likeable. I haven't watched the comics/manga, but I've heard they're good. I can't say much about the games since there is so much to talk about it. Really, Pokemon isn't a bad game, show, or comic, it's just plain overrated.

Why are they still making these spin-offs with different names in the Pokemon series? Also, why is Ash still a kid who hasn't aged into an adult? This show is getting boring and boring every single time! Arrghh!

8 The Simpsons The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that originally started on April 19, 1987 as shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. It got its own series on December 17, 1989 and is still running as of 2019, making it the longest running animated sitcom. It is about a man named Homer more.

Started off fun and exciting, but now it's gone downhill and is still achieving success today, it's about time, the show ends it's run completely.

Lost its magic after Season 25 the jokes aren't funny and they are trying to make it a drama show with serious season premieres. I miss the days where Homer would sit down on the couch drinking Duff and watching a T.V. show like Itchy and Scratchy. What happened to Itchy and Scratchy?

I can say that it is one of the worst shows from Season 26 onwards. But the real Simpsons ended in Season 12.

This show was never even that great to begin with. Nearly no funny or memorable moments from any season, even in its "golden age" (1987-2005). Now it's low tier liberal propaganda garbage with too many guest stars and celebrities which is even worse. The plots are always predictable and dragged out. Everyone always says this show is the best cartoon ever made but it's not. Probably one of the worst. It needs to be at #1 on this list and this sad excuse for a show needs to die.

So you are saying you never laughed have you even watched one episode - Winncon

You Think by now the shows creators would have run out of new ideas for The Simpsons, They Seriously need to stop coming up with new episodes and just end the series once and for all. - egnomac

They shouldn't end the series because we would be sad and the modern episodes are very underrated - Winncon

9 Gravity Falls Gravity Falls is an American animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation that first aired on Disney Channel, and then on Disney XD from June 15, 2012 to February 15, 2016. The series follows the adventures of Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel in the fictional town of Gravity more.

This is a great show, just overrated. I completely loathe other Disney shows for obvious reasons, but this is an exception. The characters are clever and the jokes are far from only appealing to minors. But the recent spread of fan-fictions and triangulum art is getting on my nerves.

Honestly, this show is overrated in the sense that it's only "good" as opposed to being "perfect" or "amazing". Any plot arc not involving Stanley, Stanford or Bill Cipher is predictable outside the super-creative concepts. And Mabel. Mabel Pines is not charming, funny or cute. She is obnoxious, annoying and clearly quite full of herself. She reminds of Papyrus from Undertale, except all the hammy charm has been replaced with the brand of tongue-in-cheek obnoxiousness that people thinks is cute for some reason.
It's the main reason I consider "Irrational Treasure" and "The Last Mabelcorn" to be the worst episodes of the series. They waste their time trying to shove Mabel's character down our throat, insisting that she is a good character. I honestly found it rather insulting.

It was cool at times. Though I mostly found it boring. It was a meh show in my opinion and defiantly overrated - Spongehouse

This is a successful show. It has a good plot, characters, and its not the slightest bit annoying. Who doesn't like a mystery show? It ended at a good time to, they found Stan's brother, Defeated Bill Cypher, and got back home when the summer ended. It's really the only good Disney show. - SeeU

10 South Park South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show is about four boys, who are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their adventures in South Park, Colorado.

It hasn't gotten worse to the same extent as Family Guy, SpongeBob or the Fairly OddParents, but it's definitely been getting worse.

The other difference is that its fans refuse to see any slip in quality. Seasons 1-10 are better. - KalloFox34

Is everybody retarded? This show is a masterpiece! If you think it's unfunny, then you have a terrible sense of humor and you don't know actual comedy. If you think it's pointless, then you just don't understand it, because South Park uses dark humor the right way, teaches morals and lessons that people normally don't talk about. South Park is one of, if not the best television show ever created! - Fireboy

I don't think it's overrated if lots of people hate it. Besides I think this show is a gem, but that's just my opinion.

To one comment I have watched it and I'm not a religious loser.
I just think the show is stupid. Just because its for adults doesn't mean swearing, toilet humour and killing Kenny makes it funny, it's the stupidity of American humour.

The Contenders

11 Regular Show Regular Show is an American animated television series created by J. G. Quintel for Cartoon Network that premiered on September 6, 2010. The series revolves around the lives of two friends, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby—both employed as groundskeepers at a local park.

The show is too gross. Had to make things obvious for kids in bad scenes.

This show is really good, not overrated

Why is this show so like, along with Adventure Time, Steven Universe and Ed, Edd N Eddy. That thing known as "Regular Show" has a very bad influence on kids. What? Talking bird and raccoon who are technically best friends and co-workers of some talking gum-machine-like guy? This is absolutely! No maturity or logic, it's so stupid and disgusting, terrible animation, unlikable characters AND...the guy who created it up is some guy who's drunk while writing this. I'd rather watch paint dry than this, I'm basically losing faith in nowadays-cartoons. - xXLittleQueensXx

Seriously, the plot of these cartoon is so boring! Isn't the point of cartoons to experience things that don't happen in real life? This is the life of two losers working in a park... only they happen to be a bird and a squirrel thing.

12 The Loud House The Loud House is an American animated television series created by Chris Savino for Nickelodeon. The series revolves around the chaotic suburban everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud and his ten sisters, to which he survives as the middle child and only son in a large family of eleven children. more.

This show has been getting too much hate recently, so it's more underrated. - KalloFox34

Generic, rely's on stereotypes, and yet everyone loves it. What is wrong with this world? The Loud House is everywhere on here. - Mellifluous

How could this show have possibly overshadowed Harvey Beaks and post-sequel SpongeBob? It doesn't make any sense to me. In my opinion, the show is highly formulaic and the humor is very weak, compared to the 2 shows I mentioned. They say this show saved the network but how has Nickelodeon been saved when they are still:

- Cancelling their cartoons for not matching SpongeBob and this show in the ratings (just look at how they treated C.H. Greenblatt, creator of Harvey Beaks)

- Overrelying on their poorly-recieved sitcoms, SpongeBob, and The Loud House (and also Jojo Siwa now)

- Still trying to be hip with the kids (The Dude Perfect Show, for example) and more...

Yes, Nickelodeon has improved somewhat but not a whole lot has changed and if anything, my first point was actually made worse by The Loud House. Nickelodeon now believes that as long as they overpromote a show and give it a late afternoon premiere week, like they did with The Loud House, it will ...more

I hate this show like its worst than ppgz aka powerpuff girls z

13 Ed, Edd n Eddy Ed, Edd n Eddy is a Canadian-American animated comedy television series created by Danny Antonucci for Cartoon Network, and the sixth of the network's Cartoon Cartoons. The series revolves around three preteen boys: Ed, Edd "Double D," and Eddy—collectively known as "the Eds"—who live in a suburban more.

This show at its absolute best is equal with the worst Simpsons episodes, quality-wise. - KalloFox34

This show was great but some vicious haters said that the show has character designs are ugly, disgusting animation, annoying characters, and some negative opinions.

Those who hate the show probably watched Brothers Grunt. What is Brothers Grunt?

It's a show that aired on MTV and it's one of Danny Antonucci's bad work before creating a masterpiece called Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

Brothers Grunt is really a horrendous, God-Know-It-All, disgusting, Chutulu-sized cartoon show that is really hard to watch. The character designs are so ugly, terrible animation, the characters are annoying, terrible writing, and so on. This Brothers Grunt does'nt deserved to be on air but I'm glad this beast was slayed by a sword (or cancelled for short).

Ed, Edd, and Eddy is one of the best cartoon shows of all time and the sixth CN show to be produced (and a last cartoon that is made with cel animation before that digital ink and paint existed). This show has great humor, great ...more

This actually one of my worst Cartoon Network shows I have ever seen.

At least Spongebob started out decent, THIS show has sucked since the very start and has sucked through it's entire decade-long run! I'll never understand why so many people like it aside from nostalgia blindness!

14 The Amazing World of Gumball The Amazing World of Gumball is a British-Australian-German-American-Irish children's animated television series created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network.

You probably only watched the first season the next seasons are great and they have many subtle political jokes
Some characters are cliche but that's the point.

Guys please, I mean have your own opinions, whatever... but consider this. Out there there is a show called Clarence. It's brutel, terrible, but the worst part is the humor. If you're the kind of person who likes to see a fat kids butt, and hear all of these potty jokes, then fine. Go watch Clarence. But we all know which show is WAY better and that you'd rather watch...

This has got to be one of the worst shows I've ever watched. It is so stupid. I will admit the style is fascinating. It's unique. But other than that, it sucks. However, I won't tell fans think it's stupid, too. We have different opinions. I personally think it sucks, but if you like it, I don't care, it's fine.

This Show Actually Isn't That Bad. I Actually Kinda Like The Show. But Even I Agree That This So Is A Bit Overrated.

15 Scooby Doo

Scooby Doo has lasted for nearly 50 years! Yes! That’s right! 50 long years! Its been almost half a century since the cowardly dog made his debut! I have nothing against Scooby Doo personally. I mean I respect its ongoing and seemingly never-ending popularity. But they’ve made SO MANY Scooby Doo T.V. shows, movies, and specials, that I just don’t care for the franchise. It’s basically the Pokemon of American animation. And it goes on and on for infinity. Warner Bros. CLEARLY has an obsession for the franchise. Now to be fair, we all have our obsessions. But come on, Warner Bros! There are other series you can give attention to! While they have faced real supernatural forces from time to time, most of the T.V. shows and direct to video movies (the original series included) are so repetitive and predictable, that they just bore me. It’s the same over and over again. I mean seriously, doesn’t Warner Br os. g et bored of this? And not to mention, we don’t need a new Scooby ...more

Even though it is better than the modern cartoons, this show is not actually good. It has an interesting premise and character concepts but other than that it sucks. I am not attacking the classic cartoons. I love Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry but this show is just meh. The writing is horrid. You can easily create a program to generate the scripts for this show. Other Hannah-Barbara cartoons were better. Cartoons such as the Flintstones, Johnny Quest, QuickDraw McGraw, and Tom and Jerry had better stories, characters that you can relate to, or better humor. This show insults a kids intelligence treating them like 4 year olds. This was also Hannah-Barbara's first step to being uncreative. They created a whole bunch of pointless Scoopy Doo rip offs such as Goober and the Ghost Chasers. Scrappy Doo did not ruin this show, this show was bland, repetitive, and bad from the start but he was a horrible character that made this show worse. Now it is a cash cow getting milked really badly. ...more

Gravity Falls, (a modern show), has a mystery element a million times better than this. (also it's not the same thing over and over again.) - lolololololol

The show is very repetitive. A monster commits a crime, Shaggy and Scooby get scared, a three minute chase scene happens, they blame the exact same guy every episode and they all laugh at the end. - KalloFox34

I don't think it's overrated, but it just has been going on for too long and doesn't bring anything new to the table.

16 Rick and Morty Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Adult Swim.

I honestly did not get this show at first. I fell into the overrated crowd very fast. However, I was determined to stick it out for both seasons. By season 2 I found myself hooked. The random plots and scenarios started to seem rather genius and beyond my imaginative skills. Now I'm hooked and able to enjoy season 1 upon revisiting. My best suggestion is stick it out and it will pay dividends.

Adult humor, filled with constant belches, nonsensical humor that other shows have done better, all to the bland, dull, and trendy animation style that's mirrored in other shows like Adventure Time...a style that's beginning to overstay its welcome, this is a show I see no charm in. I don't see why others love it. I cannot see a lot of charm in it. At all.

Very lazy animation style that just does not appeal to me at all combined with a annoying whiney kid as the main character, a freaky old man who is a rejected copy cat cousin of Doc Brown. Need I say more?

My dad, his friends, and literally every kid at my school is obsessing over this show. I watched some episodes and it didn't really grab my attention, probably because I'm just a teen, but whatever. - Popsicles

17 Ben 10 Ben 10 is a media franchise created by Man of Action Studios and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The franchise revolves around a boy named Ben Tennyson who acquires a watch-like alien device, the Omnitrix, which allows him to transform into ten different alien creatures.

What kid looks at the television and says "oh look! Ben 10 is on! "? Ben 10 is boring and insignificant.

I very much hated it even as a child. The only other classic CN show to get this "honor" was Ed Edd n Eddy. - KalloFox34

This is a shallow, boring, action show. The plots have always been weak, and the characters unlikable. I have only known one person over the age of 10 who possibly liked this show, and I'm no longer friends with them - as they are extraordinarily immature. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this show at all costs.

The original Ben 10 was great but got old for me, I thought Ben 10:alien force and ultimate alien was great, Ben 10:omniverse on the other hand is horse poop.

18 Naruto Shippuden Naruto: Shippuden is the ongoing sequel to the original Naruto anime and covers the Naruto manga from volume twenty-eight on. The TV adaptation of Naruto: Shippuden debuted in Japan on February 15, 2007 on TV Tokyo. It is developed by Studio Pierrot and directed by Hayato Date.

As far as I know this is a list about overrated CARTOONS not ANIMES!

I totally agree, but first of all, it's called "anime", not "animes". After all, there is already a list for overrated anime series on this website already, so what's it doing here?! - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Sorry but in my opinion Anime is still a cartoon, just from another country. Its nothing special.

I've never watched Naruto. I heard it's good so I might try it someday. But it's a little rude how I'd anyone critizises the show, or just says something it needs to improve on, a million people come after them for expressing their opinion. Same with DBZ. BUT I'm not hating, and I'm not calling either shows bad or overrated. It's just what I've seen. - TheAlbinoWolf

"The only part that really caught my eye was the Akatsuki. So many great villains that should have great backstories! But, then, Naruto Shippuden fell for the same thing from the first Naruto series: Naruto's backstory, Naruto chasing Sasuke, Naruto awakening the tailed beast, Naruto farting... I love the whole Akatsuki concept, and the author missed some great points by not giving more importance to them. Poor Itachi's story happened only when he was almost dying. Kakuzu and Hidan had to wait for Naruto to do that stupid training in the waterfalls (BOOORIIINGG! ). We could only find out about Kisame's past when he was about to commit suicide. Deidara, poor man, hasn't got any backstory. Sasori had some stories in fillers. And then fillers. More fillers. More and more fillers. Killer B's dreams. Tsunade reading Jiraiya's book. Chikara Arc, with stupid little crying brats and a tiny little Mary Sue that's worse than Hinata. Poor Akatsuki...

19 Star vs. The Forces of Evil "Star vs. the Forces of Evil" is an American animated television comedy produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney XD. It was created by Daron Nefcy and developed by Jordana Arkin and Dave Wasson. The series follows teenage magical princess from the dimension of Mewni Star Butterfly and her more.

This is one of the best Disney shows in my opinion. It is not overrated!

I personally hate this show with everything in me.
Star is about the most annoying cartoon character I have ever seen.
Marco is rather boring.
It acts more like a girl show than anything.
It's just an attrocity.

I like this show, but the fans set me off. So I was watching PhantomStrider's video on best American cartoons. SVTFOE was an honorable mention. And the butt-hurt fanbase of this show was complaining in the comments and saying that it was better than Looney Tunes and The Simpsons and South Park. And they said that it was a "revolutionary moment in cartoon history", and "a landmark of all cartoons". GOSH, I like the show but it's not THAT great. - Drawbox

LOL what? Hold on, hold on, gimme a minute to pull up the comments.
(1 minute later)
Hmm. I haven't found any. I guess it was lost in a lot of comments. - Qryzx

Why is this here? It's a funny show with good characters, great animation, and incredible potential.

20 Dragonball Z Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of Goku who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable more.

An action show that's lost its flavor after watching better shows. This little gem has slow pacing, thrown away too many characters for the sake of the main character and his race (that being saiyans, a group of primal men who transform into apes or turn their hair yellow) if you weren't the main character goku, you're a nobody who will accomplish nothing. Goku is a terrible role model. Just because he's strong and good at fighting doesn't mean he has a good character. He's your typical do-gooder who fights for his friends and earth, oh and he has a family too. But the thing is, he ditches them for the sake of either training or being dead. Father of the decade? I think not. Why bother having so many humans and a namek if you aren't even going to use them?

Seriously, I could heat up a hot pocket before the transforming sequences are done

It's just an anime series. There is already a list for overrated anime series on this website.

Look at me I'm the most powerful thing in the supermegagalactaverse super ultra super saiyan extreme killer beam times 100 go! Rinse and repeat for 300 episodes

21 Teen Titans Go! 'Teen Titans Go!' is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network. The show follows a superhero group called the Teen Titans, and shows what happens when they go home and have silly adventures. This show is Cartoon Network's revival of the popular 2003-2006 American animated television more.

This show completely and totally sucks, as it's over promoted and played, but the worst offense is the characters.
The Top Worst Characters-
1.Robin- A paranoid, bossy idiot. That's all there is to say.
2.Raven- The exact poser producing stereotype of a "goth girl" that so plagues the underground subcultures.
3.Starfire- While she's nice, many of the episodes show that she has almost completely absent to no moral values whatsoever.
4.Cyborg- His silly antics are very clever and well put, but when overused (and they are), they get annoying.
5.Beast Boy- The best Titan, but still annoying. His voice-actor put too much effort in to making him sound like an adolescent and the outcome was a high pitched, syrupy voice.

Literally, the only likable Titan is Starfire. The others do nothing but argue and beat each other up. Not to mention they scream too much (also a problem seen in Chowder) and Robin feels more like a villain. - KalloFox34

This show needs to die fast... And I mean fast. The characters in it are ### jerks and the episodes are completely trash and angry disappointments. Now as another factor is that they shove this crappy show in are faces with lousy commercials 24/7 about it being what they call

I don't think this show is overrated at all I think its over hated.

22 Digimon “Digimon” is a term commonly used to describe a variety of Japanese anime series based on the Bandai virtual pet brand “Digimon” (Dejimon). As of 2017, there are 7 series: “Digimon Adventure” (1999), “Digimon 02” (a.k.a. “Digimon Adventure 02”) (2000), “Digimon Tamers” (2001), more.

Lamest anime I ever watch way back! These characters wearing helmets, gloves, and weird looking outfits are terrible and the monsters acts like a Winx Club pets with girly eyes! And why does every show ends with "mon"?

Big ripoff of Pokemon. Pokemon is amazing, Digimon is garbage.

This should be number one. I get forced by my best friend to watch it ALL THE TIME. Pain.

I loved Digimon in fourth grade. Compared to the other seasons the first one is the best. It's a complete rip-off of Pokemon, and its just to...i don't know, but its pretty crappy now - SeeU

23 Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American animated television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in an Asiatic-like world in which some people are able to manipulate the classical elements by use of psychokinetic variants of Chinese more.

This show is amazing, but the fanbase is TERRIBLE. If anyone says that Avatar isn't the best cartoon of all time, or the best on Nick, they go crazy. I prefer the old SpongeBob episodes, and if I said this in front of an Avatar fan, they wouldn't accept that opinion.

I have nothing against Avatar, it deserves most of its praise, but I consider to be the most overrated cartoon of all time due to the intolerable fans. They just can't accept that some people prefer other cartoons.

This series is so overrated that, it's the only series (besides Teen Titans Go) that I wouldn't want to talk about, Ben 10 is much better than this.

I'm sorry but I just can't get into this show, it's not terrible it's just, when I watch it I just lose interest and start doing something else. It's just kind of a lame show, it's not really unique, it's just like having superpowers. I just don't get why when people are praising this show they say it's such an original idea, cause it's really not, and I'm just not a fan of anime, I love regular cartoons though. I understand that people like it, but I just can't understand how it was Nick's highest rated show, cause they have had far better shows

This is honestly overrated. People just like it because it's drawn in anime style, and the closest they can get to an anime. Seriously, there are so-called "anime fans" who think this is an anime. ITS NOT. Aang is annoying. Everyone is a jerk. That's all I'm gonna say besides that the fanbase is horrible. You can't say any show is better or else they'll get mad. I hate this show.

24 The Powerpuff Girls The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network. The main characters of this show are Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. The show is about the Professor Utonium creating three little superhero girls that save the day from villains. more.

I think it's a good show, and it aged very good, not like other cartoons like Cow and Chiken and I am Weasel.

Powerpuff is mediocre. Yet they're considered yo be the best thing since sugar spice and everything nice.

Wow this show is overrated but it isn't bad!? I mean season 5 and 6 were awkward and were not so good but I wouldn't really put it at the top 20 probably near the top 30 or 40. - spodermanfan1000

HEY! I Loved This Show! But I Will Agree With You That This Show Is Overrated.

25 The Fairly OddParents The Fairly OddParents is an American animated television series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon.

This is one of the most obnoxious shows that I have ever seen in my life. The biggest problem with this show is probably its characters. All of them come across as one-note and/or unlikable. Timmy is very selfish, Cosmo is so dumb he makes Peter Griffin look like a genius, and Wanda is the stereotypical nag. We also have the sadistic babysitter, the crazy, evil teacher, and the stereotypical "dumb" parents. And don't get me started on the characters added on later to the series like Sparky and Chloe.

And then we have the voices. People like Tara Strong and Grey Delisle have proven time and time again that they are talented voice actors, but on this show EVERYONE seems to deliver their lines in the most obnoxious, over-the-top manner that they possibly can. I don't know who the voice director on this show is, but the way he or she is directing the voice actors makes the character voices come off as shrill, stereotypical, and incapable of expressing a wide range of ...more

I hate this show! It's so cheesy! I mean, look at the animation and characters and stuff! Watching this show makes me want to makes me sick. You get Timmy, a smarty-pants who wishes psycho wishes, Cosmo, a really annoying fairy with a voice that makes me want to slam my head into a door 100 times, Wanda, a paranoid nagging fairy, and Vicky, the evil babysitter. What the heck is wrong with those characters?! Also, there's too many toilet jokes, puns, and other stupid childish humor. The humor isn't for adults, the characters aren't for adults, the animation isn't for adults, nothing's for adults! Because it's Nickelodeon, it's a kids channel! I like Nickelodeon shows like SpongeBob, Rugrats, All Grown Up, Loud House, and many others, but not this crap. However, this show should be rated T.V.-MA, that way it can have adult humor, adult characters, and lots of swearing! This show is just plain stupid, and it's boring! Don't watch it! Also, go ahead and thumb down my rant, I don't ...more

Someone end this show, please. First there was the baby, then the dog, and now apparently there's some sort of 'new girl'. It's clear that Butch Hartman is begging for the sweet release of death and wants his own show cancelled so he can protect what good things it has left.

I'll admit that I actually liked this back when I was a kid, but ever since they had the baby character the whole show has been going to crap ever since (my personal opinion). I'm over 18 now so I've pretty much grown out of kids' cartoons anyway.

I've especially grown out of this show because of Butch Hartman's recent controversy. Considering how he's exposed his true colors, it's clear now that this guy's career is pretty much over. It's done.

I also don't know if it's still going but if it is then it really should end because it really doesn't have any fans anymore (especially since Hartman has pretty much fallen from grace).

26 Fanboy and Chum Chum Fanboy & Chum Chum is an American 3D CGI animated television series created by Eric Robles for Nickelodeon. It is based on Fanboy, an animated short created by Robles for Nicktoons and Frederator Studios, which was broadcast August 14, 2009 to July 12, 2014 on Random! Cartoons. The series was first more.

Pokemon may have run for too long, but at least we still have the games. Ben 10 may have lost its s---, but it's still kinda cool (Especially the art style). Spongebob may have been kind of stupid, but the older episodes are classic. Naruto, Dragon Ball and Bleach may have had a lot of filler, but they still got the action packed anime vibe. FANBOY AND CHUM CHUM, on the other hand, has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Stupid, no history, boring, terrible art style. Kids, do yourselves a favor and watch Young Justice, Teen Titans, My Little Pony, Adventure Time and Phineas and Ferb instead.

Well, I'm wouldn't call it overrated. I'm not defending it, really, it's just that you must understand the line between what is awful and what is overrated. Being overrated doesn't make a show awful, it just makes it overplayed, or maybe there are serious faults in it that is overlooked, or maybe it's just that people LOVE it when they should merely LIKE it. Fanboy and Chum Chum is indeed terrible, but I have not seen ONE, not even ONE good review or comment about it. That doesn't necessarily make it underrated (it makes it perfectly rated), but it definitely doesn't make it overrated, since no one likes it. Understand?

More like Fake Boy and Dumb Dumb to me! Whoever created this show must be high on crack!

Its underrated but has a good reason to be: Its stupid and annoying as f***.

27 Chowder Chowder is an American animated television series created by C.H. Greenblatt for Cartoon Network. The series follows an aspiring young child named Chowder and his day-to-day adventures as an apprentice in Chef Mung Daal's catering company.

Sorry, but you people don't get it. Chowder may have premiered during the time Cartoon Network went downhill, but that doesn't mean it sucks. Tied with Flapjack, this was easily the best show during Cartoon Network's dark age. And Chowder shouldn't get the same treatment as Fanboy and Chum Chum OR Rocket Monkeys OR My Gym Partner's a Monkey, because there's actually MORE to Chowder than just the gross-out humor, immature humor, annoyance, and weird stuff. Chowder has a lot of heart and soul to it. It pays homage to 1990s cartoons. The uses of animation are very unique. It relies more on the slapstick humor and fourth wall humor. It has likable characters. It has outstanding voice acting. And the weird stuff in this show is done in a unique way. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy

It's gross, it's loud, it's annoying. I don't like the characters, I don't even know what they're doing in the whole scene. What's so funny about making weird faces, shrieking, picking nose, eating disgusting food?

This is just hideous and gross. In some episodes it's quite good only them ones are rare. There's too many kissing scenes and chowder is nearly always naked. Horrible

. . . need I say more? IT SUCKS!

28 Naruto Naruto is an anime and manga franchise Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto. The manga was later adapted into a television anime, which was produced by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex. It premiered across Japan on the terrestrial TV Tokyo and other TX Network stations on October 3, 2002. The first series more.

This show is not "bad" albeit definitely in the mediocre category especially when compared to other anime.

Thanks to its filler, Toonami got cancelled. - KalloFox34

Anime, not cartoon. And I don't care if people say "anime IS a cartoon". They're always wrong.

I don't why people concider it best anime off all times, its filler catastrophy.

29 Tiny Toon Advantures

Hey what is this doing here? Sure, it's a ripoff but there are thing making it funny.

Like Elmira, the totally insane girl who kidnaps animals and make them their pets. The others actually run away from her!

Or Buster, the sarcastic blue brave bunny who helps other creatures from situations like getting trapped by Elmira :)

And Plucky Duck, the fan of Daffy Duck who always gets hit by something or gets in a bad situation.

So this cartoon has no reason here.
Wait, that's actually why it is here! UP WITH IT!!! - Epicsauce45

Oh wow Adventures is spelt wrong, people do make spelling mistakes. Anyway 90s cartoons are worshipped.

You spelled adventures wrong

30 Dora the Explorer Dora the Explorer (2000 - 2019) is an American preschool educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner in which Dora goes on adventures with her friend, a monkey named Boots.

I saw this one commercial with kids talking about how great it is, but it isn't

I Honestly Can't Tell If This Show Is Overrated Or Overhated. I Mean Dora The Explorer Is Probably The Most Hated Cartoon Character Of All Time So I Don't Know Whether She's Overrated Or Not. Either Way Her Show Would Still Suck No Matter What.

I Hate It When People Type Hate Comments Like This

Toddlers love it, people past that age hate it.

31 Total Drama Series

Of all the cartoons I hate that everyone else likes, this one takes the cake. I can't think of a character that doesn't annoy me; all of them come off as bland and cliche as possible. The animation as well is lazy, and the humor mostly consists of either toilet humor or laughing at other characters (mostly women) because of their stereotypes. Sure the voice acting is good and the show is creative at times, but the characterization (especially), humor, and animation ruin it for me. - Disneykid00

The Total Drama series does not belong on here. Island, World Tour, and Pahkitew Island are all very great seasons. Action and All-Stars both suck, though. Revenge is hit or miss. Oh, and it's SUPPOSED to be a parody of Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, and reality shows in general. THAT'S THE POINT! And most of the contestants are jerks FOR A REASON; most of them are purposely being satired or parodied of other stereotypes you typically see in reality shows. Like the nerd, the jock, the fat guy, the hot girl, the bully, the goth, the party guy, and so on and so forth. The series does what it set out to do, and it's honestly a lot of fun. Even the spin-off, Ridonculous Race, was a lot of fun. This doesn't deserve to be on here.

Only season 5 is overrated, but the others are great

It's a good series but most of the contestants are jerks.

32 Animaniacs Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs is an American animated comedy television series produced by Amblin Television label in collaboration with Warner Bros.

This show really does need to be on TV again, and I mean reruns, otherwise it'd be ruined for a revival series. But this show is somewhat not as good as I thought it would still be,

Now to be fairly honest, I loved the show growing up, but when you count the numerous times most of these characters have appeared, they aren't all that good. The Goodfeathers got boring quickly, Chicken Boo was the same thing over again for 4-7 minutes, Mindy and Buttons was repetitive, Rita and Runt barely lasted a year in a half, the hippos were boring, Minerva Mink only lasted for two of her own.

Slappy Squirrel was great, one of the genius characters of the show, although some of the cultural references got a bit too old very quickly.

The Warners were funny but sometimes just plain annoying (they were meant to be), yes they were charming and cute and mainly the stars of the show, but sometimes, their segments went a little downhill. Wakko's voice wasn't as Beatles-esque after ...more

No this show awesome! If you hate this show you have no taste in real cartoons! It's a 90s classic/cartoon what!

Why when everyone says it's overrated they mention the characters they don't like from the show? Just because you don't like a certain amount of characters in the show, it doesn't mean it's overrated if someone does. This show isn't overrated because everyone gives the same reason about why its overrated which is not liking a certain bit of characters. Read legion1979's tumbr page about the show and you wouldn't think it's overrated because all the characters did have potential (except Katie ka Boom and Minerva Mink). - mrcoolface

The fans of Animaniacs go on about this show as if it was better than Simpsons or Batman the Animated Series. The jokes weren't always bad but they were poorly delivered and it was just trying way too hard to be funny. For every okay joke there was ten unfunny jokes. As an adult I've tried to watch it back with a fresh set of eyes and to be honest its still pretty lousy. The animation is uninspiring, the characters bland and the plots uneventful. The only reason I think anyone might like the show is humor but most of the humor is loud and obnoxious (and not in a clever satire way). This gets my vote for most overrated cartoon, especially by the online males in their 30s.

33 Johnny Test Johnny Test is an American-Canadian animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation, for the first season, and Cookie Jar, for the remainder of the series.

Completely overrated for annoying characters. This show should not exist in the first place

Bad does not equate to overrated. If it was overrated, you'd be seeing a lot of fans of it.

As for reality, 90% of artworks involving the show are drawn out of hatred. - KalloFox34

This show is not overrated. Sure, Season 2 onwards sucks, but Season 1 was actually pretty good. And the show was cancelled a long time ago anyways. People really need to get over it! - KalloFox34

Why does this keep airing new episodes when it is hated by all. It really needs to end right now!

The show is repetitive and is a total ripoff of Dexter's Laboratory. The characters are not likable, jokes are forced, there is constant whip sounds and Johnny is annoying.

34 Arthur

Why do people love this show? It's just a silly PBS cartoon. And PBS Kids sucks hard. Educational cartoons shouldn't even be a thing.

And as far as slice-of-life shows go; Recess, Doug and Hey Arnold are all FAR superior. - KalloFox34

It's more underrated, if you ask me. Some people hate
It just for being a kids show.

I saw an episode where Arthur wanted you to be him for a day. He kept staring at himself in the mirror in the beginning.

This show rules! It's over rated for a reason!

35 Caillou Caillou is a Canadian educational children's television series that was first shown on Télétoon and Teletoon, with its first episode airing on the former channel on September 15, 1997; the show later moved to Treehouse TV, with its final episode being shown on that channel on October 3, 2010. The more.

Adventurous and optimistic, Wander rides across the galaxy to help persons live freely, against the intentions of Lord Hater to rule the universe. more.

This show is UNDERRATED. If you want to see an overrated show, look at Gravity Falls (even though I like that show).

I love this show, probably one of the better animated shows from today. Its super underrated.

Everyone who likes this show needs mental help!

You need mental help for saying "Everyone who likes this show needs mental help! ", people can have opinions on the internet. - Cool9009

Underrated you two say, I see fan of that show everywhere.

37 6teen 6teen is a Canadian animated sitcom originally produced by Nelvana, with the final season produced by Fresh TV. It premiered on November 7, 2004 on Teletoon.

6teen & Total Drama are some of my favorite cartoons and anyone who hates them is just retarded

So overrated, it is.

I disagree :/

The show was... like... UHGG!

38 Big Mouth Big Mouth is an American adult animated sitcom created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett featuring teens based on Kroll and Goldberg's upbringing in Westchester County, New York, with Kroll voicing his fictional self.

How is this disgusting, perverted, vulgar, offensive, pedophilic, inappropriate show not in the Top 10?! - KalloFox34

This show is so gross. It has shock value for the sake of shock value, ugly characters and very disgusting scenes. Whoever created this show is a pedophile.

This disgusting excuse for a show has 100% at Rotten Tomatoes

39 Code Lyoko Code Lyoko is a French animated television series created by Thomas Romain and Tania Palumbo and produced by Moonscoop.

The anime is co-produced by Cartoon Network Japan and Aniplex and was animated and produced by Toei Animation, featuring character design by Miho more.

43 T.U.F.F. Puppy T.U.F.F. Puppy is a cartoon created by Butch Hartman. It ran on Nickelodeon from October 2, 2010 until April 4, 2015. It focused on Dudley Puppy and his partner Kitty Katswell as they protected Petropolis under the Turbo Undercover Fighting Force, or T.U.F.F.

44 Yu-Gi-Oh! Yu-Gi-Oh! was aired from 2000 to 2004 in Japan, and 2002 to 2006 in the US. It continues where the Toei Anime Left off. When 10th grader Yugi Muto solves the Millenium Puzzle, Yami Yugi emerges, taking control of him to help his friends. In Duel Monsters, they mostly played children's card games because more.

I would been interested in it if it wasn't for all those evil stuff in it.

These haters need to shut up about Yugioh because I've been into since I was 6 and I'm now 13 and looking back on its old episodes I see how they still are high in quality and so better than Pokemon because the characters at least age and how Yugioh fans like me arnt fat salty hatersSo all I'm saying is research the fandom before you do a salty hater-like comments : Yuma9009

Pokemon fans aren't fat salty haters either. Research our fandom too. - KalloFox34

4Kids ruined it. Watch subs - KalloFox34

This show should be number 2 not just because of it trying to steal Pokémon's popularity or the verses Pokémon art. But because it isn't that good. It's ok but not for me.

45 Jem

Before animation went crap.

It started as an 80s doll, then became a cartoon, then a live action movie when probably most people had probably forgotten/or never heard of Jem.

For some reasons, Jem and the Holograms was pretty good by the way. The animation looks good like Hanna-Barbara's Jossie and The Pussycats but has less qualities. But told me that this show has a lot of legal systems in the show. Such as getting someone hurt from an accident like bombing inside the restaurant, or just a skiing accident on unknown accidents. It's pretty interesting that this girl show has some weird legal systems by governments. Even The Holograms were confronted on the court (yeah, really weird to see a girly rock band posed on the court. See what Equestria Girls looked like at the court. "Screw you democrats, were musicians.")

It's just too rare for a girl show to see such a theory by, but it's the best for an underrated show with the most overrated live-action movie released in 2012.

46 Beast Wars
47 Voltron
48 Gargoyles Gargoyles is an American animated series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation and Buena Vista Television, and originally aired from October 24, 1994 to February 15, 1997. The series features a species of nocturnal creatures known as gargoyles that turn to stone during the day.
49 Rugrats Rugrats is an American animated television series created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain for Nickelodeon.

SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy has confused this with Mega Babies.
Mega Babies is the toilet humor, gross-out jokes and ugly animation that would make you puke.
Mega Babies is based on snot, vomit, feces, flatulence, drool, veins popping out of muscular parts, and various other bodily fluids coming from the cast.

This show is just as enjoyable as a poopy diaper, filled with annoying and unlikable characters, toilet humor, gross-out jokes, that dumb concept about babies, and UGLY animation that makes me puke! - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy

I so agree. I hated this overrated boring show even as a kid, and the fact that they're now making a live action movie out of it is even more absurd. I just hope I never have to lay my eyes on those ugly babies ever again.

More like Rugbrats! This is the most overrated show ever! Most of these 90's cartoons are overrated, but this one is the most. Also, the fan theories are so stupid. Then again, of them are.

50 Pokemon Chronicles

It's not overrated. - Gamecubesarecool193
