    Pinkie Pie is a major character in the 2010 show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. She is based on the G1 character Surprise. Pinkie Pie represents the Element of Laughter and is known for her high energy, sense of humor, and love for throwing parties.

    Pinkie Pie is the funniest pony in Equestria! (Excluding Cheese Sandwich.) Just think about it, why is her cutie mark balloons? Well, balloons represent parties, and parties represent fun. Also, why does she represent "The Element of Laughter"? Because she always pops up from nowhere, always brings her party cannon and Gummy, and she rarely cries!

    How can Rarity be higher than her?! Rarity's not funny! She also cries just because of a small matter that everypony can fix! I hope someday Pinkie will be number one on this list. (PLEASE VOTE THIS.)

    How is Pinkie not number 1?! She is literally one of the most hilarious cartoon characters of all time! Whenever she's onscreen she always makes me smile! I have had to pause many an episode innumerable times because I was laughing so hard at Pinkie's randomness! I stinking love random humor.

  2. Rarity

    Rarity is a female unicorn pony from the 2010 animated television series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She represents the Element of Generosity and has a strong passion for fashion. She owns the Carousel Boutique, where she designs and creates stylish clothing.

    All of the funniest parts seem to revolve around Rarity - she's a real gem! She and Applejack together are priceless. Love them both! She's a charming classic with a penchant for the theatrical, who always warmly amuses.

    I really like the fact that she is both the most elegant, beautiful, 'simply divine' diva pony, and that she is also the funniest at the same time. It's because she is genuinely funny, and not just that we're laughing at her in a mean-spirited way. Go show! More female pairs of characters like this, please (i.e., handled as well as Rarity and AJ, who improve upon and avoid many of the possible pitfalls of, say, similar older anime 'tomboy and girly-girl' pitted against each other approaches).

  3. Twilight Sparkle

    Twilight Sparkle is the primary main character of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is a female unicorn pony who transforms into an Alicorn and becomes a princess in the episode Magical Mystery Cure. Her character is known for her intelligence, love of books, and leadership qualities.

    Twilight can really be funny sometimes. I found her funny in Lesson Zero when she was acting all crazy because she didn't learn anything that day. Also, she freaks out about tests. I mean, I do, but not as much as her.

    The typical protagonist: beautiful, smart, sometimes a bit goofy. She is always the one who tries to bring everyone together.

    Rainbow Dash has a lot of ongoing jokes such as her egghead thing. She likes to play pranks with Pinkie Pie. She shares jokes with Applejack. She even has a good laugh and laughs at her own jokes. She literally made Twilight Sparkle's hair look like a mess in the first episode.

    Rainbow Dash is constantly making insults funny, like when she calls Twilight an "egghead" right before she and Applejack are about to race in the Running of the Leaves. She and Applejack are laughing so hard!

    RD has made me laugh so many times in the series I don't even know where to begin! I love how it just comes naturally, and it is always so sassy!

  5. Fluttershy

    Fluttershy is a female pegasus pony from the animated television series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which aired from 2010 to 2019. She is known for her gentle and timid personality, and she cares deeply for animals. Fluttershy represents the Element of Kindness in the series.

    What I think makes her funny is that she says things literally. When Rarity asked her what she thought of the dress she made for her, she did a whole rant about it! Hilarious!

    She is so gentle and sweet. If I could meet her, I would stick around for her! Because of my kind and shy personality, I definitely won't be hated.

    Only I can't meet her because she's just a cartoon character.

    I may overall love Dashie, but even a big Rainbow fan like me has to admit, Discord's beaten her in comedy! He is simply hilarious, from the lines to the sarcastic humor, the way he literally does everything he says, like snapping his fingers and transforming into something. If you watched Three's a Crowd, Discord is just the funniest ever!

    All of the sarcasm and puns make him hilarious! Only boring people would think Discord was unfunny. Sure, he's evil, but that makes it even better! Of course, Pinkie is #1, but Discord should be #2!

  7. Spike

    Spike is so funny sometimes. He is not one of the Mane 6, and because of that, he has some funnier and more relatable lines.

    He has some of the best one-liners in the whole series! He is comedy gold.

    He adds things to the show when Twilight's episodes get boring.

    Applejack is so funny. She should be way higher on the list. Her jokes with Rainbow Dash and her back and forth with Rarity are so good. Not to mention she's blunt and honest, which makes her funny when delivering her lines.

    She is funnier than Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle. Not that they aren't funny - they have moments I love as well. At least she should be higher than Diamond Tiara. I don't recall that many funny moments from her as much as Applejack.

    This is my favorite sarcasm moment of hers:

    Rarity: How in Equestria can she think that that tiny cloud is Cloudsdale?!

    Applejack: Same way you thought that that old rock was a big bona fide diamond?

    (Forgive me if I got the exact lines wrong.)

    Trixie Lulamoon is a female unicorn pony and traveling magician. She tends to speak in the third person and refers to herself as "The Great and Powerful Trixie." She is a recurring character in the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

    Her general attitude can be annoying and aggravating at times, but it's the main reason why Trixie is comedy gold. I like that she gets more screen time since she befriended Starlight.

    The funniest character. She's even funnier than Pinkie Pie.

    She is funny, sweet, kind, and very lovable. She is probably one of the most adorable characters in the show. Sometimes she can get angry at her enemies, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. The CMC first meet in the episode Call Of The Cutie, when Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle stand up to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon for her.

    Apple Bloom is one of the youngest MLP characters in the show. Apple Bloom is adorable.
