Top Ten Reasons to Hate Nickelodeon
They continue to make TERRIBLE shows. Sanjay and Craig, BreadWinners, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, and so on. Their new live action shows suck too, Bella and the Bulldogs, really? The last good sitcom they made was iCarly, or maybe Victorious. But since both shows ended Nick cast them away and quickly replaced them, that is one of the fates of a good Nick show. But one of the most well known paths are those of SpongeBob and Fairly OddParents. Those two are Nickelodeons current legs and backbone, cash cows, longest running, highest rated, and most popular shows. But they degraded MAJORLY over the years. SpongeBob went sour after the movie in 2004 and FOP tumbled down after in 2008. Both shows used to be awesome, and their old episodes I still watch and enjoy. The characters personalities changed, the voices became irritating, plots became weaker, continuity doesn't matter anymore, the jokes are lame, the new animation sucks, and new characters are being thrown in at every turn. To sum it all up, they are both not good anymore and suffered a horrible fate. I hope they end properly at least, then when they do, Nicks ratings will drop like a rock and they will pick their sorry pathetic hides off the ground.

Everything is wrong with this show! I mean really! There's the fart jokes, The fact that Swaysway and Buhdeuce are so stupid and always thinking that others said the opposite of what they really said, and only Swaysway and Buhdeuce can talk! Plus, the art style is terrible and the fact that they mine for bread was a bad idea!
For crying out loud, Breadwinners is one of the worst show ever made! It makes Johnny Test look like Total Drama (my favorite cartoon) and Sam and Cat look like Wizards Of Waverly Place (my favorite T.V. show)
Instead of playing their bad sitcoms all day long, why don't they just dedicate this channel to all the good shows they made? They never show My Life as a Teenage Robot, Jimmy Neutron, Chalkzone, or Danny Phantom. As for shows like the Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, and CatDog, we only get to watch them at 1-4 in the morning! WHY?!
Shows that originally aired in 90s and 2000-2004 ended in different 3 ways by either ending like they should have like Rugrats, usually with a decent amount of marketing involved, they ended with a very anti-climatic ending like Danny Phantom, or they had many loose ends and ended on a bad note like My Life as a Teenage Robot, with the latter 2 show endings having odd a crappy airing times and days with little marketing.
It really appealed to the older audiences, but now there's really nothing to hook their tween and teen viewers, or the kids who liked to break dolls and action figures rather than play with them. They should bring it back and do it right, it'll catch attention and get them more ratings then maybe they can go from there.
Zim won't ever come back. Jhonen Vasquez is the final decision maker. He refused to work with Nick because after the show was cancelled they still sold merchandise. It took him until 2014 to even work in television again.
Remember that scene from the South Park movie where Sheila and the other mothers chant "BLAME CANADA". Well, I would say that but change it to "BLAME CYMA ZARGHAMI" for all the trash she's given us and how she completely scaled down the demographic. She's worked with the network since the late 1980s. If she was president from then up to now, shows like Ren & Stimpy, Rocko, Clarissa, All That, The Amanda Show, The Angry Beavers, and most of the game shows wouldn't exist at all. Nick would be better off with Chris Viscardi (who's in charge of managing "The Splat" block on TeenNick) or Marc Summers (host of "Double Dare").
It might sound like a stupid idea but...why can't nickelodeon and NETFLIX work together on something? (Nickelodeon already worked with other companies, I think sony music,for making music for the shows on nick? Maybe they can do something together? ) I don't know, I might sound stupid..,
Drake and Josh is a very good show, so was iCarly, and also SpongeBob SquarePants the old episodes were the best, but the new movie is 2015 is better than the new episodes.
I understand that they can't make anymore good shows, but they did make two good shows recently, Winx Club & Every Witch Way.
They always understand me, they always keep making better shows every time like "we bare bears", I'm right now and I have a Jake hat and still watch it. Cartoon net work is kinda getting a little weird though, they are starting to put gay relations in them.
Cartoon Network is a gold mine. It has Gumball, Regular Show, Adventure Time, Looney Toons, Steven Universe, Tom and Jerry, the old Powerpuff girls, and oh so much more. And what do you have, Nick? Fanboy and Chum Chum?
SpongeBob stinks now, he's just a spoiled child and stuck loving his dead end job with a greedy boss who drove a rival to suicide attempt and would sell him for a penny!

The series was first... read more One of the earlier shows became a Facist of cartoons (meanwhile, CN got took over by the Nazi Reboots) the two shows took over to continue it's legacy. But unfortunately the two live for over almost 3 years before they killed by Loud House. I'm really glad those shows we're gone and the Nicktoon era returns happily with new Arnold movie last November and Spongebob brought it's health back. But this show was not only the worst cartoon in Nick but the whole cartoon history.
All they did was take Season 6 SpongeBob and Patrick, turn the characters into humans, make them even more annoying, and turn the animation into CGI. How disappointing is THAT!?
Disney Channel may also have mostly brainwashed girly tween sitcoms, but it at least has decent modern cartoons like Gravity Falls and vintage Mickey Mouse cartoons. Likewise, Disney Channel sometimes plays classic Disney and Pixar movies like Toy Story and Lion King. The only modern Nickelodeon shows that play other than the brainwashed girly tween sitcoms are cartoons with toilet and fart jokes like Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners.
To whoever said that Disney Channel was better than Nickelodeon until Every Witch Way aired, please tell me you love some other Disney Channel series such as Gravity Falls. Sadly, Every Witch Way was cancelled (I mean the whole franchise)! Nickelodeon has sitcoms that are even more brainwashed girly tween sitcoms than Disney Channel. Anonygirl and cartoonfan101 were both very right on their comments. Disney is nowadays a hit-or-miss. Nickelodeon is mostly a big time miss.
I hate Dora and Love Blue's Clues. Why do Nick cancel Blue's Clues and keep Dora airing?! Because Blue's Clues is a show that have colorful floppy ear puppies as the characters and only 1 human?

Nicholas Scott "Nick" Cannon is an American rapper, actor, comedian, entrepreneur, record producer, radio and television personality. Without the anti-semitic Nick Cannon (not to mention how fake his apology was, he's just demanding relevancy at this point), there would be no Make It Pop! or Nickelodeon in general. Good thing Mariah Carey married a better man (Common in Smallfoot).
Nickelodeon is really hypersensitive when it comes to criticism of their channel. For example, CH Greenblatt criticized them on Tumblr, and then they got mad at him and forced him to apologize when the things he said WERE TRUE. They also made a YouTube video that had twerking in it, and then I commented "Sorry Nickelodeon, twerk jokes aren't funny", and they deleted it. They also have comments disabled on their Fart In A Jar video, and I wrote several angry letters to them in the past but they never got back to me.
Disney is WAY better than Nickelodeon, it has Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, and Star vs the Forces of Evil, and Nick has stupid shows like Sanjay and Craig, new SpongeBob, and Breadwinners!
Disney is sooo much better. The only good show on Nick is TMNT, but Disney has Gravity Falls, and they are currently airing Doctor Who!
I certainly think Disney has it's problems, But I would say it's better than Nick today.
The fact that Wizards of Wavrly Place is magical must be the main reason why so many people in the universe love Wizards of Waverly Place. Not just that, but Disney Channel is very slightly better than Nickelodeon, and I hate Disney Channel a lot.

It's Cat that's the problem; and that gave Ariana at first a bad impression. I'm only cringing at everyone's hate for her. And now we have this stupid terrorist bombing that occurred at one of her concerts which made matters and her reputation even worse so thanks for that. Her music's actually pretty great for what this crappy modern generation of music has to offer. But that's just my opinion. And hey. I can't believe this really exists, I mean come on Nickelodeon. You do realize that you're putting millions of children's lives in danger. What if it really rains, and the children start to play in the rain, and get hit by lightning. You don't know the rights and wrongs, but when a child goes outside in bad weather, they get hurt and the channel Nickelodeon should be held responsible for their injuries. If parents saw it raining and this message comes on, they'll make the decision, not Nickelodeon. At least Cartoon Network or Discovery Family doesn't air this message, if they did I would be extremely furious. It's time to take action, tell Nickelodeon that this needs to end now. If a child goes outside in the rain, you know who's responsible, the channel that airs the message. It's time to let Nickelodeon know that enough is enough, we are starting to get fed up with their message. Tell those at Nickelodeon to put an end to this and we could just forget about this whole thing, but no, they continue to air this very message for 14 years, you know how long people are starting to get fed up. It's time to tell Nickelodeon to stop and think about what they're doing.
Saturday Night Nickelodeon was the best block in the whole wide world. Cartoon Network even had THEIR answer to SNICK, and that was Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, except that C.C.F. aired on Fridays, rather than Saturdays.
Lest we forget that part where Fred's mother forces Fred Figglehorn to go to camp like a very short-tempered toddler, and Fred acts the same age. Please cancel SpongeBob Squarepants so you can go defunct, Nickelodeon. >:(

Things started to turn around in 2005. El Tigre and Mr. Meaty primered around that time (were ok) and CatDog was the final Nicktoon from the 90s to be phased out at the time. Spongebob began to lose it's touch in 2007 (Especially Patrick). 2007 was also the year Catscratch and Danny Phantom got cancelled. 2008 was when the network started going downhill with Mighty B and Tak (NOT the video game but the T.V. show). In 2009 Nick saw the consequence of sending Adventure Time off to Cartoon Network in favor of Fanboy and Chum Chum. This show allowed them to adapt to making bad, crappy T.V. shows like Planet Sheen, Sanjay & Craig, Rabbids Invasion, Modern FOP, Modern Spongebob (Season 5 to 1st half of Season 9), and Breadwinners.
