1 Tupac Tupac Amaru Shakur, also known as 2Pac, was an American rapper and actor born on June 16, 1971 in East Harlem, New York. Tupac sold over 75 million records worldwide and has been referred to in multiple major publications such as Rolling Stone as one of the greatest music artists of all time. 2Pac was more.

2 Notorious B.I.G. Christopher George Latore Wallace, born May 21, 1972, better known by his stage name The Notorious B.I.G (sometimes Biggie Smalls or just simply Biggie), is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. On March 9, 1997, he was murdered in a drive by shooting in Los Angeles, California at the age of only more.

So much better than 2Pac. Ridiculous flow and he is a top 10 lyricist of all time. He did it all. He had deep tracks, club bangers and diss tracks. He only had 3 albums but he had so many great songs that it is irrelevant to me

I couldn't find any good songs with 2pac with 3 hours of searching but with B.I.G I found 4 in a row

How come he’s always second 😩

3 Ice Cube O'Shea Jackson, born June 15, 1969 in Baldwin Hills, CA, known by his stage name Ice Cube, is an American rapper, record producer, actor, and filmmaker. He began his career as a member of the hip-hop group C.I.A and later joined the seminal gangster rap group N.W.A. After leaving N.W.A in December 1989, more.

Ice Cube & Eazy-E get way less credit than Dr Dre when they 2 actually did most of the lyrics & work on NWA

Ice Cube technically is the head of NWA & when he left NWA was never the same

Ice Cube when he left actually got even more popular & is one of the most influential underrated rappers

Ice Cube has been in so many movies, hosts of T.V. programs, made many albums he is truly influential & that is why he is my favorite
1. Ice Cube
2. 2Pac
3. Cypress Hill
4. Snoop Dogg
5. Fugees
6. Eazy-E
7. Wu-Tang Clan
8. Notorious B.I.G.
9. Nate Dogg
10. Busta Rhymes

NO. there is so much more to Old school rap and hiphop than hatred and Anger. Also so often in his songs his lyrics and flow is just weak.

His rhymes are so impressive!

When Cube left NWA, NWA lost its charm.

4 Rakim William Michael Griffin, Jr., better known by his stage name Rakim, is an American rapper. He was born on January 28, 1968.

I really can't listen to a Eazy E song without shedding a tear. I miss Tupac Bigge and Nate Dogg but Eazy had a horrible death. RIP you real G.

Damn eazy e was a rappin legend he made nwa if it weren't for him we would have no Dre or ice cube

6 Nas Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, better known by his stage name Nas, is an American rapper and entrepreneur born on September 14, 1973 in New York City. His album, Illmatic, is considered to be one of the best rap albums of all time. He is also considered to be one of the best rappers of all time.

Nas is the best lyricist of all time, he stays consistent with his records and his made the best rap album ever (Illmatic).

In my opinion, he should be top 3 definitely.

Who dis fool lol I only know Tupac and Biggie. They’re essentially the equivalent of people today who say they’re heavily invested in Rock music but only know Queen and The Beatles. Nas would probably be either The Kinks or The Monkees And Ice Cube is The Rolling Stones since people at least know more than 2 Rolling Stones Songs.

Illmatic is the best album. Should be number 1

Is he even old school I mean he has made music in 1996 and some very underground stuff in the 80's but he's more known for his music in the late 90's and early 2000's music which is the time right between old school and new school and 2pac and Nas and Dr. Dre has better music the his underground stuff

Favorite rapper ever but he ain't old school
