Top 10 Rock Bands That Have Gotten Worse Over TimeEvilAngel
The Contenders: Page 4
Regional at best was the best alt hip hop album I've heard and Vessel was great but blurry face is an abomination and a worthless piece that made the band what they criticized a meaningless pop band with little to no artistic value and once I heard heathens(*barfs*) we all know it'll go downhill
They should be at the top 10 list and they suck at every song they have wrote including blurryface and are worse than nickelback
I like |-/. I just added this here to troll some people.
Just compare "Me against the world" and "Save you" and you'll know... - Zab
They're an amazing band. After Jones died, their hits began to lower, but they still did amazing. Now, I was surprised to hear they're STILL together. I think it's time to let it go now... You can keep rocking in your hearts, Stones! - MontyPython
I like their stuffs more from '64-69. Was their best era. Back then Mick Jagger had pretty good vocals. - zxm
They have been steadily sucking the soul out of the blues and Muddy Waters dickhole since 1964. The first group of albums were ok but things really got rocky in the 80s and 90s. Keef needs to OD already and Mick needs to get a job as a carnival barker. Stick a fork in em, the bands done.
They got better, and then they got worse, which is why I'm also going to put them on the list of bands that improved over time. When they started out, they were decent, but they hadn't really found their identity. Also, the songwriting left something to be desired. However, by their third album, "Kanjou Effect," they had found their ideal sound, and their songwriting and musicianship were excellent. Even after one of their guitarists left, they still churned out two equally great albums without him, gradually adding a few effects that accented the songs and didn't take away from the excellent vocals and loud riffs. It wasn't until their sixth LP, "Jinsei * Boku =," that things started to fall apart. It's good, and most fans agree that it can stand with its predecessors, but I feel it had too many effects. Taka has a great voice, but it was put through weird filters. Also, the album was mixed so that the guitar often faded into a wall of noise rather than standing ...more
With their new lead singer, after the previous quit, they have gotten worse
I actually like the new singer (Marc Hudson), but their newest albulm Maximum Overload was trash to be honest...V 1 Comment
I missed the brutality of Corey's voice I can't believe that he can't scream like that anymore
Self titled 200/10
Vol 3 7/10
Gray Chapter 6/10
Slipknots still a goof band just not as good as before
I don't know wut 2 say I'm fine with where their goingV 1 Comment
I love system of a down
They are so weird and unpredictable
Sucked, sucked, sucked, sucked, and sucked some more. Their mothers should have killed them at birth.
This band used to be so awesome, in their earlier days putting out songs like (Chop Suey!, Toxicity, BYOB) but they've just really started sucking. They're almost always on hiatus, I wish they would put more time into their music.
Alright geniuses, time for a history lesson. The Beatles have improved over time whether seeing the impact of their influence or over their short career. If we are going on the basis that they got worse over their career I'm sorry but please get your ears checked. While they weren't horrific, Please Please Me, A Hard Days Night, Beatles For Sale and Help! Simply don't measure up to the greatness of Rubber Soul, Revovler, Sgt. Peppers, The White Album and Abbey Road. Heck even the Red Album (their greatest hits from 1962-1966) doesn't measure up to the greatness of any of the albums stated above, These albums were ahead of the time and left a long lasting impact on music. The fact that you can even consider something like Love Me Do or Ticket To Ride better than I Am The Walrus or A Day In The Life is garbage.
The Beatles got better overtime. Not worse.
Shut up the Beatles were always good they didn't get worse
Not really. They were becoming more and more popular each year. Until John Lennon decided to split the band. - zxmV 7 Comments
The revs death clearly had an impact as hail to the king wasn't nearly as good as their other albums.
I think Avenged Sevenfold are still good but some bands don't always become bad over the years if they need different type of music they play it
Shouldn't be here hail to the king ruled
I think they become better. - zxmV 1 Comment
I actually liked them until they started being pop on no fixed address listen to silver side up its amazing ( back off haters and don't judge me )
Curb and The State were pretty good. Once they got signed to a record label, they got worse. Much, much worse.
Curb is their only good album.
Ew they suckV 1 Comment
Their first album with mikael akerfeld on vocals was a genuine doom metal and very good, their second album got less "raw" and heavy, but still was interesting, although it marked where katatonia started getting more pipular with 13 year olds and "alternative metal" fanboys.
First 4 albums were just magnificient. With newer albums they lost something, but its still not ad bad ad with Metallica or catatonia
Don't get me wrong. Yes is an amazing band, one of my favourite ever. Yes, Time and a Word, The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans, Relayer, Going for the One, Drama and 90125 are amazing albums. But big generator wasn't very good. And I don't like their new album since Jon Anderson left. ;_; I hope their next album is good. - SammySpore
