Best Mario Kart 7 Characters
Yoshi, once romanized as Yossy, is a fictional anthropomorphic dinosaur who appears in video games published by Nintendo. Often appearing as a sidekick and helper to Mario, Yoshi is most known for his appearances in the Yoshi's Island and the Super Mario franchises. Everything is better with Yoshi! He's cool. Even though I don't play as him in this game, at least he's not as annoying as Peach!
My finest setup is with the Pipe Frame, the roller wheels, and the Swooper. He is excellent at stats, and he goes for the win.
His drifting, control, and acceleration make him a very easy and fun character to use.
Shy Guys are an enemy from the Mario and Yoshi series that have been seen in many games, and they are masked because of their shyness. In my opinion, Shy Guy is the best character in the game by far. The rest are annoying (Wario, Daisy, Toad) and stupid (Metal Mario, Lakitu, Honey Queen, Wiggler). I don't care about the rest. Get Yoshi out of this list. He is overrated. I can't believe that people put that Barney wannabe above this awesome character.
I agree. Shy Guy is just one of the better characters along with Diddy Kong, Toad, Toadette, and Yoshi. Plus, he rides smooth.

Since I play as Toad, the rivals I have are Peach, the annoying pink brat, and... ROSALINA!? I can't go against her. She's my most favorite princess! She's so perfect in karts, and I already know I'm saddened to see myself doing an unexpected job. By the way, she's not annoying alongside Daisy, am I correct?
Rosalina has accurate speed and decent control. I think Rosalina's best combination is the Birthday Girl with roller tires and Peach Parasol. Metal Mario and Wario are my worst.
Best girl right here. I used to play Metal Mario but got tired of him and his voice. Still a cool guy, though. A good setup for Rosie is slick wheels, the Swooper, and King Koopa's clown car.
Koopa Troopas, or just simply Koopas, known in Japan as Nokonoko, are a fictional race of turtle-like creatures from the Mario series, as well as its sister Yoshi series. They most often appear as common ground enemies. Koopa Troopa has good acceleration and speed, which is a great combination. Furthermore, he looks cool. That is why I used him to complete all the cups and why I think he is the best. I also like Yoshi and Toad, but to a lesser extent.
Oh yeah, he should be in the top 2 with Lakitu. He's the best, and I love his tricks and voice. At least he returned in Mario Kart 8.

I don't like their sounds, but it's cool how they vary in size and shape, and save exactly the same way as in Mii Maker.
The Mii is my favorite character. However, they made the Mii voices in this game sound awful.

Metal Mario is a character that appears in both the Mario series and the Super Smash Bros, where he made his first appearance in the Nintendo 64 version. He's pretty similar to Mario when using a Metal Cap, but instead of being a transformation, Metal Mario is his own character. He's statistically among the best to play as. He has the same speed benefits as the heavy characters while fitting into a medium-sized kart frame, which makes dodging items and other hazards much easier.
A lot of people think Metal Mario sucks, but almost every time trial was beaten by Metal Mario!
He's the coolest and the best. Play as him once and you'll know for sure!

Daisy has the best colors and a sassy attitude. She is fast, always gets a good result, and says, "Ok, not bad." She is pretty. Peach is better than 16th too, but Rosalina isn't good.
She maintains the same awesome voice from Mario Kart Wii, and I'm about to call Daisy the #1 tomboy out of all of the tomboys in video game history!

The reason I put Toad is he is cute, he is so small, and speed does NOT matter the most. Acceleration does, and his karts have the most acceleration. His best is the Bumble V with wood. YOU RULE AND ROCK, TOAD!

Lakitu, known in Japan as Jugem, is a fictional flying character in the Mario franchise. Created by Shigeru Miyamoto, it first appeared in the Nintendo Entertainment System video game Super Mario Bros., where it dropped enemies called Spinies on the stage. Easily the best. I mean, he's been here since the start, and he's so cute. Lakitu is the best for sure. How could you hate him? He's just a little turtle in a cloud!
Lakitu should definitely be higher than Metal Mario. I'm sick of those Metal Mario fanboys that go, "Ooh, Metal Mario is hot, he should be number 1. Duh!" Lakitu is leagues better.
His vehicles have the best acceleration. So much better than the slow and boring Metal Mario.
Wigglers are a species of caterpillar in the Mario franchise. They have a segmented body and comically large nose and are yellow slowly moving when happy, but turn red and run angrily very quickly if they get jumped on Wiggler is the Mario Kart character we didn't know we needed. Wiggler is cute, unique, and a much more creative character to add, unlike some others. (I'm talking to you, Metal Mario.) I don't even care if Wiggler is a "non-optimal character." Wiggler holds a special place in my heart as I always thought its voice was really cute, and the overall experience was improved by the happiness and emotion Wiggler brought in comparison to the rest of the roster.
Unfortunately, Wiggler is without a doubt the "underdog" of this game due to disrespect from a significant portion of the fanbase. Wiggler 100% deserved to return during the BCP, and it's my new main. Although I'm only a single voice and can't speak for everyone, I support your opinions and respect the dedication to enjoy characters like Yoshi, Luigi, Lakitu, and DK, even if they aren't "optimal characters."
In conclusion, you can like any character you want and enjoy them on a personal level, but for me, Wiggler will remain my personal favorite.
