They're known for being the most beautiful young lady in all the land. No man could be perfect for them, unless you were Prince Charming or something.

Sorry, I disagree. Everybody have it's own sense of "beauty". But they were (In my opinion) lazy, weak, coward bastards.

Including round tables, an entree of game meat, desert, and bloated loyalty and nobles.

They couldn't leave the king's land, and they worked in exchange for protection and resources.

Although there were some major empires, like the Holy Roman Empire, you could claim that the Christendom itself was an empire. Basically the whole continent was led by the Catholic Church, and kings could be kicked out of office by the pope. However, nowadays, Europe is mostly nonreligious.
