Top 10 Most Violent Cartoons

The Top Ten
1 Happy Tree Friends Happy Tree Friends (commonly abbreviated as HTF) is an American adult animated flash series created and developed by Aubrey Ankrum, Rhode Montijo, Kenn Navarro, and Warren Graff for Mondo Media. Disguised as a children's cartoon, the show follows the misadventures of cute, anthropomorphic forest animals. Their initially peaceful lives always end with sudden, usually accidental, graphically violent... read more

I thought Tom And Jerry was the most violent cartoon ever, but this is even more violent than Tom And Jerry. Even though it looks like an innocent kids show at first it's not.

Happy Tree Friends is super gory, violent, disgusting, sadistic & cute. I like it that way & wouldn't loke it many other ways. I'm not some sadistic person who hates every drop of sunshine. I hate most 70% of sunshine but me & others who love this cartoon watch it because we hope our favorite character(s) survive till the end & we love dark humor, so the unbelievable deaths make it a bit more interesting.

If you genuinely think this is a kids' show...

Watch an episode of it. Skip the intro if you want. The violence's not in the intro. It's later in the actual episode. Kind of disturbing how this is a lot of people's CHILDHOOD FAVORITE (glad it isn't mine because this is DEFINITELY not for kids. I did watch it when I was bored during quarantine, and by then it didn't phase me as much since I wasn't 8 or smth).

Fun Fact (spoilers): There's some imaginary serial killer in the show named Mr. Pickles, and then there's a violent show on this list named Mr. Pickles.

2 Mr. Pickles Mr. Pickles is an American animated television series created by Will Carsola and Dave Stewart for Adult Swim. The series revolves around the Goodman family, especially their 6-year-old son named Tommy and the family's border collie, the demonic Mr. Pickles. The series was picked up for 10 quarter-hour episodes for its first season, which premiered on the network on September 21, 2014, and ended on... read more

I've heard this is just some dog who goes around killing everyone. Obviously, this is going to be here if THAT's what this show is about.

I think this definitely wins it. This is literally satanic. It's basically a dog ripping out poor people's guts out.

3 Drawn Together Drawn Together is an American adult animated sitcom which ran on Comedy Central from October 27, 2004 to November 14, 2007. The series was created by Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein, and uses a sitcom format with a TV reality show setting.

The later seasons in particular feature blood and gore in almost every episode.

I'm not at all saying this isn't violent. I remember there being a scene where Peter Griffin plays GTA V, and goes on to commit some of the same atrocities IRL.

5 South Park South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show is about four boys, who are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their adventures in South Park, Colorado.

The Woodland Critters is very disturbing and some of Kenny's deaths are pretty disturbing as well.

Eric Cartman... need I say more?

Also, Kenny dies a LOT. South Park would absolutely suck to live in.

One of the most controversial cartoons. Kenny just kept dying in a row of episodes.

6 Invader ZIM Invader Zim is an American animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR.

The episode "Dark Harvest" might be the only reason why this show is ranked so high. The only moment as violent, graphic, or gross is during the episode "Rise of the Zit Boy" when Zim's pimple gets to the size of a hot air balloon and pops, unleashing so much puss and liquid or "Planet Jackers" when Zim's head is bashed to a pulp.

Remember when Zim plucks Keef's eyes out?

7 Metalocalypse Metalocalypse is an American animated television series, created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, which premiered on August 6, 2006 on Adult Swim.

This show looks like it's going to be violent from the start, and guess what? It is.

The violence was even more violent than Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes in the earlier seasons, but like those shows, The original Powerpuff Girls is awesome!

One of the few kids cartoons that showed blood. (In some episodes and in the intro)

9 Tom and Jerry Tom and Jerry is an American animated series of comedy short films created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Best known for its 161 theatrical short films by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the series centers on a rivalry between the title characters Tom, a cat, and Jerry, a mouse. Many shorts also feature several recurring characters.

This is easily the best cartoon series in existence! It's pretty violent, but the violence is still very funny!

I'm not going to say this isn't violent. This is VERY violent. It's mostly cartoon-like violence and not gory like HTF and Mr. Pickles.

This should be higher and it's the best cartoon ever I guess ita the most violent of kids cartoons

There is a short in uncle grandpa called new experiences with beary nice and hot dog person.Where beary nice gets a happy new experience where the hot dog person gets sting ripped opened he gets eating by birds and more, he dies sometimes!

I've actually decided to watch some of this, and I can confirm that this is violent and gory. This definitely looks like something that would be in the top 10, but it's not.

I love this show! This is more violent than half the shows in the top 10!

Should be #1. It's obvious a lot of people have never seen superjail!.

13 Rick and Morty Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Adult Swim.

Many scenes of this show is too violent and Rick is one of the violent characters in cartoons.

The show wasn't violent but just ridiculously violent. You know what violence is? Watch Man's Best Friend and see what I mean.

This is so violent. It should be in the top 5

17 Invincible

The Violence in this show will make anyone squirm especially adults if you're gonna watch this show you'll see what I mean.

18 Corpse Party: Tortured Souls

The very name of the show and the image used for it here...

It really doesn't need any more explaining why it's there. It doesn't bother looking kid-friendly like HTF. It just shows its violent from the very start.

19 Archer
20 Looney Tunes Looney Tunes is an American animated series of comedy short films produced by Warner Bros. from 1930 to 1969 during the golden age of American animation, alongside its sister series Merrie Melodies.

Like Tom and Jerry, this is VERY violent, but mostly in a cartoonish sort of way. Still, it's violent, and nothing will change that.

21 Hazbin Hotel Hazbin Hotel is an American adult animated musical comedy series created by Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano. It revolves around Charlie Morningstar, demon and princess of Hell, on her quest to find a way for other demons to be "rehabilitated" and allowed into Heaven, so she opens a rehabilitation hotel that offer demons a chance at redemption and to be better people. This was a part of LOTS of people's childhoods (and mines as well), but I won't say it isn't violent. Some episodes, Bikini Bottom gets destroyed. In one episode (spoilers), King Neptune's son (Triton) uses his laser to spell out his name in the middle of the city, destroying it in the process.

One Coarse Meal, Squid's Visit, A Pal For Gary and the toenail scene from House Fancy are the violent ones. But the rest of the cartoon isn't.

Its not just violent, it has many inappropriate jokes in it too

23 Battle For Dream Island
24 King Star King King Star King is an American animated web series created by JJ Villard and Eric Kaplan for Adult Swim. The series aired on the network's online video streaming service Adult Swim Video on June 15, 2014.
25 Aqua Teen Hunger Force Aqua Teen Hunger Force is an American animated sitcom created by Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro for Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim.

Well, sure it's violent, but it's not as bad as other violent cartoons.
