Top 10 Chowder Episodes
I used to watch Chowder all the time. I really liked it! I was rewatching some episodes so I decided to make a list of the best episodes of Chowder.Chowder Grows Up was the last episode of the entire series. What a great way to end it! Chowder becomes an adult all of a sudden after singing a song for many years, similar to what happened to Simba in The Lion King.
Since Mung is retiring, Chowder takes over as the chef and even gets his own apprentice. This episode shows that it's hard to get used to being an adult and you have to try your best at being successful. So yeah, it has a pretty good message.
Every cartoon has to have a holiday special. Knishmas is a Christmas-type of holiday in which the people of Marzipan City make smingerbread houses in hopes of receiving a present from some Santa rip-off.
Chowder wants a trimmer but is afraid he might not get one since Mung sucks at making smingerbread houses. Mung ends up getting one from Endive, but Chowder eats it himself because he didn't want Mung to go through all that trouble for him. This is a very heartfelt episode and really shows the true meaning of Christmas or, in this case, Knishmas.
I don't know why, but I find this episode to be hilarious throughout! Truffles thinks she's getting fat, so she has all of them go on a diet, eating nothing but Flibber Flabber.
The problem is, all of them except Chowder think it's disgusting. This leads to Mung making the building bigger to make it seem like she lost weight. The part that I really laughed at was when they tried putting the building back to its normal size but ended up making it too small. Too funny!
Mung comes up with a brilliant plan to put a dinner theatre in the Catering Company. The stage show they do is a murder mystery, and Gazpacho gets cast as the serial killer.
However, Chowder doesn't understand that he's only playing a character and mistakes him for a real killer, thinking he's actually going to kill Panini. Sometimes I find Chowder's stupidity to be hilarious.
Chowder in an apple costume. What more could you want?
In this episode, the characters go to see a sport called Field Tournament Style Up and Down On the Ground Manja Flanja Blanja Banja Ishca Bibble Babble Flabble Doma Roma Floma Boma Jingle Jangle Every Angle Bricka Bracka Flacka Stacka Two Ton Rerun Free For All Big Ball. The point of the game is, well, you're not supposed to win.
Truffles finds this ridiculous, so she takes over as coach of one team, and Mung takes over as coach of the other team to stop Truffles from ruining the game. Apparently, if you do win, a Bowser-type creature comes up and throws away the stadium. This episode is weird, but I like it.
Truffles becomes very sick, so she needs someone to look after the money box. For some reason, Chowder, Mung, and Schnitzel decide to spend all the money.
My favorite part of this episode is when they realize that with no money, there means no animation. Then it shows the voice actors: Dwight Schultz, John DiMaggio, Nicky Jones, and Tara Strong. Wait, at this point, Truffles hadn't known that they spent all the money, so why was Tara Strong there with them?
If there's one thing Chowder is known for, it's the number of times it breaks the fourth wall. This episode doesn't break the fourth wall. It straight up demolishes it!
Chowder becomes so smart that he realizes they are in a cartoon and then changes the show to make it more smart and less weird. I couldn't stop laughing. It was just too funny!
Chowder became way too smart and was getting very annoying. He actually had the smarts to realize he was a cartoon!
Since everyone is scared of Truffles' voice, she decides to get some sort of dial that allows her to change her voice. She chooses to have a much sexier voice. This works out so well that Chowder, Mung, and Schnitzel become cavemen. We even get to hear Schnitzel speak English for the first time.
I find this episode to be somewhat relatable since I've gone crazy for girls before.
This is my favorite episode by far. The entire episode is just Shnitzel trying to deposit his paycheck, but Chowder keeps on making it more difficult by getting them in trouble with the bank security and inadvertently making Shnitzel keep on going to the back of a very long line. All this irritates Shnitzel.
When trying to get away from Panini, Chowder bruises a bluenana. Chowder and Panini act like parents and take care of the bluenana, but Panini becomes too overprotective and crazy.
Very hilarious episode, and it shows how hard marriage is.
This is the episode that I keep coming back to, but I never knew why. Maybe it's because it makes me laugh every time! This episode is my favorite ever!
The Newcomers
Because where else will you find a Katamari reference?
In this episode, Chowder wants to try making food on his own without Mung's help. He decides to make Burple Nurples, but the problem is he accidentally puts poison in them.
It's up to Mung to try to get the Burple Nurples from Chowder before anyone eats them and dies. I thought this episode was very funny, and it was the first one that I watched.
This was my favorite episode. It had me in tears laughing during that one "We've been on a journey through time and space" scene.
