My favorite character in the Pokémon anime being the first trainer to travel with Ash a tomboy who doesn't put up with Ash's crap or anyone else's whos not afraid to stand up herself but underneath her tough exterior she's very kind and willing to help others not only that but she and Ash have a really strong bond that has never been duplicated in many ways they act like a married couple they constantly fight with one another but it doesn't stop them from caring about the other and they both bring out the best in one another.
