1 Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American animated television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in an Asiatic-like world in which some people are able to manipulate the classical elements by use of psychokinetic variants of Chinese martial arts, known as "bending". This show is often seen as one of the greatest cartoons of all time and is commonly thought to be an anime.

This is not an anime, its an american cartoon that was inspired by anime. I'm pretty sure all the titles on here belong, so good job. But yeah this easily deserves to be number one. Korea was good too, but it only exists because of this show.

I never really watched this show as a kid. I honestly have no idea why I didn't because this show looks flat out amazing.
