Top 10 Best Hetalia Pairings

I am really laughing right now when they said FRUK should be higher! It's currently number 1! Anyway, I love this ship because the chemistry between the two characters is simply beautiful. They have an undesirable yet inseparable relationship, and it is really interesting to see their rivalry become love. It is a pairing that will never get you bored, and that is why it is one of my favorite ships.

This is my favorite ship! I cannot see one without the other. Even though they act as though they dislike each other, they obviously care about one another, and I cannot be happier that this is the number one ship!

These two are adorable together, and I love the height difference between them too.

Plus, it's very cute that Ivan (Russia) calls Matthew (Canada) "Matvey."

Words cannot describe how much I love the pairing Germany x Italy. It's so cute. Just imagine a tough German guy who has spent most of his life fighting, stuck in wars, and dealing with tons of depression. He's strict as can be, always goes by the rules, and seems to scare others.

Now, take a cute Italian and put him into the German's life. Italy just turned Germany's world upside down and taught him how to see things in a new way. He taught Germany to be happy and let loose every once in a while.

Now, just picture Germany wanting to protect this beautiful mind he had opened up to. Germany would do anything for Italy, just because he had changed his world so much in a good way.

Let's not forget the time Holy Rome and Chibitalia kissed, mm? I know in my gut that Holy Rome is Germany. I even looked up "where was Holy Rome located" and sure enough, it was a small part of Germany before Germany fully became a country.

Anyways, Germany and Italy belong together. You can just SEE the way Germany looks at Italy. He looks at Italy like he's the most precious thing he has ever set eyes upon and he wants to protect him.

My forever OTP in Hetalia! You can tell that Denmark loves Norway, and I bet Norway secretly loves the Dane back! I like this ship for so many reasons! I like how Norway stops Denmark from doing anything crazy, and how they have different personalities! This ship needs more love. DenNor forever!

I love how, in tears, Denmark tried to hug Norway and tells him not to struggle alone and hide things from him, as Norway tells him that he's too noisy and plants his palm on Denmark's face to prevent an incoming hug.

Often overshadowed by the other great ships involving Hungary and Austria, but this one is just... beautiful. They have fantastic chemistry and historical support to boot. They're both hilarious and lovable characters, and their dynamic is refreshing compared to the norm with many hetero ships depicting a dominant guy and a submissive girl.

HunAus really changes that, in my opinion. Gah, I just really, really love this ship. It warms my heart, man.

Great pairing with historical context. They just work so well together, and their friendship is prevalent through every timeline.

Spain protects Romano whenever he can and just loves his little tomato so much! They are getting married or have gotten married. They are canon and simply adorable. Anyone who doesn't ship this has a mental problem.

I just love how Romano is such a tsundere with Spain, and how Spain always shows his preference towards Romano. I was sad when Spain proposed to Romano and he accepted under the condition of three meals a day, but Spain took this as a rejection.

I really like this ship. It's very cute but not my OTP. To be honest, I don't really know who I ship Japan with, so this ship is just kinda like "I shall ship this 'til I find a good person for Japan."

I ship RusAme and made a huge comment about why. But the thing is, this ship is ALSO cute and it's messing with my brain. I really love their interactions and kinda just like them to be good old pals.

So, yeah, I think I'm gonna stick to Russia x America and Japan x Greece for now.

I love how Lithuania is the closest one to Poland, and in one translation Poland said, "You can hate me all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that I like you," or something like that. Also, I love how no matter what Poland does, Lithuania still can't hate Poland.

I love RusAme - both their cultures are so different and are politically split, and Alfred and Ivan want to be friends. But Russia and America are on edge even if they say they are friends. If only they could just be happy together as Alfred and Ivan. Plus, they are both space dorks and are laid back.

I think this is France's only true love, and it's so pure. It's beautiful how France still has feelings for Jeanne d'Arc even after her death. It's a very tragic love story.

This pairing deserves more recognition than FrUk. FrUk is toxic and unhealthy. France deserves someone like Jeanne, and England, like France, deserves someone who won't hit him over every little irritation.
