Top Ten Hetalia Pairings

I am really laughing right now when they said FRUK should be higher! It's currently number 1! Anyway, I love this ship because the chemistry between the two characters is simply beautiful. They have an undesirable yet inseparable relationship, and it is really interesting to see their rivalry become love. It is a pairing that will never get you bored, and that is why it is one of my favorite ships.

This is my favorite ship! I cannot see one without the other. Even though they act as though they dislike each other, they obviously care about one another, and I cannot be happier that this is the number one ship!

Words cannot describe how much I love the pairing Germany x Italy. It's so cute. Just imagine a tough German guy who has spent most of his life fighting, stuck in wars, and dealing with tons of depression. He's strict as can be, always goes by the rules, and seems to scare others.

Now, take a cute Italian and put him into the German's life. Italy just turned Germany's world upside down and taught him how to see things in a new way. He taught Germany to be happy and let loose every once in a while.

Now, just picture Germany wanting to protect this beautiful mind he had opened up to. Germany would do anything for Italy, just because he had changed his world so much in a good way.

Let's not forget the time Holy Rome and Chibitalia kissed, mm? I know in my gut that Holy Rome is Germany. I even looked up "where was Holy Rome located" and sure enough, it was a small part of Germany before Germany fully became a country.

Anyways, Germany and Italy belong together. You can just SEE the way Germany looks at Italy. He looks at Italy like he's the most precious thing he has ever set eyes upon and he wants to protect him.

And all this happened from a tomato box fairy.

This is my favorite ship ever! They have changed my life, really. They changed my opinion on incest and pedophilic relationships and have taught me so much. Despite all the angst and emotion in their relationship, they still manage to be friends with added sexual tension, as France said.

I definitely ship them as being in an equal relationship, though. I hate seeing either of them portrayed as weak when they are both so strong! You can see them everywhere in real life! They have a special relationship. They are just too adorable and sexy for their own good. Hima ships them, so they are practically canon.

With all of the awesomeness that is their relationship, you simply cannot ship them. They will always be my OTP.

Too cute! They both love tomatoes. Romano is adorable, and Spain is sexy. Romano is a tsundere yet cares for Spain greatly. He even tried to protect Spain, which was just the most adorable thing that has ever happened in the history of everything!

Spain protects Romano whenever he can and just loves his little tomato so much! They are getting married or have gotten married. They are canon and simply adorable. Anyone who doesn't ship this has a mental problem.

I just love how Romano is such a tsundere with Spain, and how Spain always shows his preference towards Romano. I was sad when Spain proposed to Romano and he accepted under the condition of three meals a day, but Spain took this as a rejection.

My forever OTP in Hetalia! You can tell that Denmark loves Norway, and I bet Norway secretly loves the Dane back! I like this ship for so many reasons! I like how Norway stops Denmark from doing anything crazy, and how they have different personalities! This ship needs more love. DenNor forever!

I love how, in tears, Denmark tried to hug Norway and tells him not to struggle alone and hide things from him, as Norway tells him that he's too noisy and plants his palm on Denmark's face to prevent an incoming hug.

I just love their relationship and interactions. When Japan dreamed about having sex with Greece, I laughed really hard.

These two deserve more love. They have so much potential. Too bad they're overshadowed by Fruk and Usuk.

Best and only hetero couple in Hetalia, in my opinion. They are just too funny and cute! Hungary is super feminist, and although she does kind of lose that aspect when she realizes she is a girl, she regains it! Prussia is just Prussia. He is awesome and doesn't take any nonsense. He cares for Hungary in the most cute way, and they were practically childhood sweethearts!

This is like a power couple, like a tomboy girl and oblivious boy kind of couple.

I love how Lithuania is the closest one to Poland, and in one translation Poland said, "You can hate me all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that I like you," or something like that. Also, I love how no matter what Poland does, Lithuania still can't hate Poland.

Most canon pair, I think. How can you not love them? They are adorable and actually really strong together!

Poland even said to Lithuania that even if Lithuania hated him, he still liked him. As you can see, 'like' can easily be replaced with 'love.'

Underrated. It is so wholesome. Two lonely people bonding over their shared plight and finding a cure for their loneliness in each other.

These two just get each other. I think the fact that they both feel lonely, even isolated from the others, is what makes it the cute dynamic it is. They have each other but are lonely together.

I really like this ship. It's very cute but not my OTP. To be honest, I don't really know who I ship Japan with, so this ship is just kinda like "I shall ship this 'til I find a good person for Japan."

I ship RusAme and made a huge comment about why. But the thing is, this ship is ALSO cute and it's messing with my brain. I really love their interactions and kinda just like them to be good old pals.

So, yeah, I think I'm gonna stick to Russia x America and Japan x Greece for now.

RoChu is the cutest ship because it is pretty much a historical ship. Plus, Russia is my favorite character.

I just love how Sweden calls Finland wife, the fact that Sweden has a crush on Finland (and it's canon), and also the whole family thing. They have two kids, and it's super cute.

Finland is Sweden's wife. They have a small family with Hantamago, Sealand, and Ladonia.

SuFin is my 3rd favorite ship! It's so cute how they felt awkwardness and silence with each other!

Prussia is like the pancakes, and Canada is, of course, the maple syrup! You can't have one without the other!

Where the hell is this? I mean, it's perfect! They're so different yet so similar. This needs to be higher up!

I don't know why this pairing isn't more popular. They're absolutely perfect for each other! Plus, they're adorable!

I love RusAme - both their cultures are so different and are politically split, and Alfred and Ivan want to be friends. But Russia and America are on edge even if they say they are friends. If only they could just be happy together as Alfred and Ivan. Plus, they are both space dorks and are laid back.
