Best Players in Denver Nuggets History
carmelo anthony should be number 1 in denver nuggets history he is a all around complete player and great on the offence side he is a great at scoring points he averages a lot a game and every game he gives 110% and he is just playing great he is having a mvp season so he might be the 2010 mvp and he is the best player in denver nuggets history
Carmelo's a head case. Listening to his wife who wanted the big city lights? He will never win a championship. Number 5 maybe on Nuggs. I have a problem when players are ranked, or have numbers retired after only a few seasons for a team. 7 season minimum
carmello anthony is the best nuggets player ever he is better then alex english and david thompson and dan issel he is the bestest in the world
the best all around player at the moment and best defender better then LeBron but I think in the long run will be better then kobe
Best pure shooter ever to play for Denver
The question is "who was the best player that player in the nuggets? " and not about the best performace of a player by the nuggets. So, the answer is the answer. He simplely was the only player who played in the nuggets that win a award MVP.
Allen Iverson is the best player who played on the Denver Nuggets because he was very quick and a unbelievable scorer.
Get him ahead of Alex English.
The original "Skywalker", Thompson one of the "big three" in the ABA (along with Dr. J and George "Iceman" Gervin. When the 4 teams from the ABA merged with the NBA, Thompson was immediately voted 1st Team All-Star (even won an All-Star MVP award). Unfortunately, knee-injuries and drugs bested him. In his day, he was unreal! Carmelo can't come close to the "Skywalker" legend, he's too much of a punk - biggest whiner (along with Kobe and Dirk) I've ever seen. Thompson ALWAYS hustled back on D - Carmelo can't spell "D" if you spotted him the D.
Amazing to watch. Drugs ruined what could have been a top 20 all time career
When Dan Issel retired, he was fifth on the all time combined ABA/NBA scoring list. He also contributed by being the best rebounder on the team during his years in Denver and was the best on the team at getting to the free throw line. He is the greatest player in Nuggets history.
Should be in the top 5 at least
Sad to see the Denver native get traded... Typical nuggets
