Best Assassin's Creed Games
The Top Ten Best Assassin's Creed Games
The story of Assassin's Creed 2 stood out to me the most, probably because it was basically Ezio's origin story. We seen him as he was born, watched him cause trouble as a kid, sneak into his girlfriend's window. And watched as his family was tragically murdered. We saw what drove him, and watched as he went from an angry kid, to master assassin. And of course it was the game that revealed "The Truth". It's actually one of my favorite video game stories.
Assassin's creed 1 was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Assassin's creed Brotherhood was also good, but it hadn't changed much from its predecessor, Assassin's creed 2. This game completely evolved the series and was honestly the best game in my opinion.
Assassin's Creed 2 is the greatest AC game because it shows one of the greatest stories ever told and that of course is Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Ezio was probably the most humane character out of all of the others because unlike Conner or Altair he shows more compassion. This is because the main story takes place when he's 17 and not a full grown adult, he makes mistakes.
He is also a ladies man, a trouble maker, and a good person to those who deserve it. During this time he gets betrayed by one of his father's friends and his two brothers Federico and Petruccio plus his father Giovanni gets hanged. Instead of leaving and getting his sister and mother out of town right away he runs and yells " I'll kill you for what you've done! ". Due to the overwhelming amount of guards he had to flee and took his mother and sister somewhere safe.
I don't have the time to tell the whole story but I'll summarize it, so he got a hidden blade from Leonardo da Vinci, learned how to steal ...more
I have never had so much fun climbing up buildings and pushing archers of buildings in my life! Sure the others were good but they were all inspired (except Assassin's Creed) by this one.
The scenery was beautiful and the storyline was engaging and interesting. I loved Edward because he mixed pirates and assassins, two of the most completely different groups. I enjoyed the amount of people that Edward met that were once alive during the Golden Age of Piracy (Blackbeard, Charles Vane, Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, etc. ) The naval warfare and traveling makes this game absolutely different than others. the only thing that bothered me about this game was the amount of eavesdrop missions.
What's not to like assassins and pirates two of my favourite things collide assassins creed 3 really step up to its expectations and I think that black flag would be better plus you ride a ship like assasins creed 3. Black flag should one of the game of the years contenders because the multiplayer was awesome and plus the guy is somewhere related to Connors I can't wait for the fifth one
The Best game in the Franchise it has a massive map, tons of upgrades for your ship and character. It is very fun game that takes place in the Carribean during the Golden Age of Piracy.
Assassin's creed 4 deserves the second place. I have played all of the assassin's creed games and this one is one of my favourites after Assassin's creed II. But I do think it has to be in a higher rank than Assassin's creed I, because the gameplay was better and the character was WAY better than in AC3. Moreover, this game is not repetitive at all. The missions all are different and have unique objectives proper to them; which means that it had a great story and a WONDERFUL ending. Plus, the pirate combination with assassin made my it be a bit different han the other games.
Brotherhood is just a AMAZING game! It is a muchly improved version of the legendary Assassins Creed II with awesome combat and the graphics are excellent! I love the puzzles that make you think but the only downside is the campaign was a little too short.
Brotherhood is basically Assassins Creed 2 but with more things like assassins and buying taking away the villages from bougier (I think that is the name but can't remember). Vote for this because Assassins Creed 2 was great but Brotherhood is better!
This game is like the best game I have ever played, great fighting style, great graphic, not as great as Assassin's Creed II storyline, Multiplayer is a BEAST! And much more things you can do! I don't know why this game is not on top?
Out of the ones that I played hours on after 100%, even know I would of play more black flag, Brotherhood is the most memorable
There are so many people that don't like ac3 because of the "fact" that Connor only kills the British and so he's killing his own people. First of all he's only half British. Secondly most Americans who fought during the war were British and no one is saying jack about that. Third he was raised by native Americans so he does not have a sense of his British self. Fourth Connor actually kills people on both sides of the conflict. Fifth most people who are posting these comments are trying to make themselves sound smart and are actually making themselves sound really stupid. And lastly it's a game! Enjoy it for what it is! - tackler90210
I have never heard people say that about Connor. All I have heard we're things like: Connor is a bad character, Connor is bland or other things like that. (I personally think he's a good character and a total badass). - RogerMcBaloney
This game, and its protagonist had so much potential, but true is that Haytham was the best part of the game - Crisium
Best story hands down. Conner was extremely passionate about his people and freedom. He wanted to have a relationship with his dad but understood that killing him was part of what had to be done. You felt what he was going through and the struggles. The ending was especially awesome how he was on the brink of death and still would not let that stop him from killing his target. This was the best game of the series and yes better than black flag. Good job on this one ubisoft.
The fact that it's in America's greatest time in history it's also a fact that it gives us a story that we as Americans or wherever I'm not trying to be racist or anything by the way, should honor this game for supporting the best victory for we patriots and plus CONNER IS A BAD ASS supporting native Americans, also 10 out of 10 graphics
Problem is he wasn't helping natives, but patriots which screwed him over, and at the end burnt his village - Crisium
There was a time when I thought nothing could get better than AC II. But Revelations totally changed my mind. I am not really fond of too much of killing in games, but Revelations shows Ezio's true character.
There was a time I despised Altair. I thought his story was way too bad. I hated AC I. But when I saw his life story I came to love the character, and a new respect developed in me. The tragedy between him and Abbas moved me. Now I come to understand why he is called the greatest Assassin.
Desmond's story was quite sparse and, in my opinion, his "journeys" on the Animus Island was quite boring. But overall, the game was excellent.
Revelations is amazing! It shows Altair's life from when he was 26 to his death at age 92.
This game had everything in it, brilliant story mode, Multiplayer is way more fun than Brotherhoods ;) and ends the game with a great ending, but not as good as Brotherhoods... -_-
There is not a single game that I didn't fall in love in the series but visually and story-wise, Revelations is the most amazing. This game has the most insane graphic details ever. Decorations on buildings, clothing, etc. It was set in ISTANBUL, maybe the most beautiful city in the world. Every screen, whether a demo, a mission, or a random point is like a masterpiece classic painting. I love the games in America and Carribean, too but (accurately) they lacked the incredible architecture of Europe, so they had to look a bit plain despite they were newer games. The Ezio-Altair connection, and the ending were magical.
The Assassin Creed Revelation is the best game of assassin creed I have ever done. It has good story good attacks and better story than assassin creed 2 and Brother Hood. I think the black flag should be on first and this one should be on second place.
The overall gameplay may have been improved as they added sequels to the franchise, but that is to be expected; and yet, the first game will always be the best for me. It's the one that started it all; it is a classic and no one can beat Altair.
This game is plain and simple one of those that you know are going to have a certain effect on your gaming experience ever since you start playing it. An utterly positive one at that. I believe Altaïr is one of the best developed characters and the in-game world feels so organic and real you can almost feel your instant freedom. I will always be amazed by this game, it's a shame I can't say the same about the later ones, though.
Laugh out loud it was the first Assassins Creed and the best one ever! I would honestly choose Altaïr over Ezio any day! He is a way better climber and looks cooler. This game is just overall FUN
The best! Why because of the story much better than ac2 and templars real motive to create a new world was only specified in great detail in this game. Truly amazing best atmosphere best story best assassin in my opinion is altair the only con is repetitive gameplay otherwise everything is top notch
One of the best game in my opionion the story is awesome and it shows assassins can be bad too
It has really fun gameplay and seems to have the biggest world maps compared to the other AC's. It is fun to play as Shay, and I just love the silenced rifle, or whatever it's called. The gameplay is really nice. Overall, to my opinion, it should be best in the series.
Really good game. Playing as an Assassin turned Templar is very interesting and allows the player to say both sides of the coin so to speak. This game completely changes your perception on the series. Everything about this game was on point. Great gameplay, beautiful map, engaging story and great characters. - RogerMcBaloney
Not too long ago, I always believed the Assassins were the good guys. You play as them and the Templars, especially the Borgia, were shown as evil and power hungry. After playing Rogue though my opinion completely changed. I would now rather be a Templar than Assassin and, with the exception of the Renaissance and Carribean rites, I look at the Templars in a completely different way in the old games now. Second favourite and most influential storyline because of this, as well as everything else about it
This game's ending broke my heart, I have never felt such emotions anywhere outside of the Assassin's Creed series. And Unity is a really good game in general.
The French revolution game has a good storyline but it does not have enough gore
This is the best AC game environment I have ever seen. Perhaps this is the best gaming environment on the planet! The buildings are in ratio 1:1 as compared to real life, which makes it really amazing. There isn't a more realistic graphics in games. Just go ahead and search in YouTube. And you shall know what I am talking.
I wouldn't be surprised if this game makes it to the top 10 even before it has been released.
I like the realistic graphics one of my favourite how about you
The introduction of rpg elements took this game over the edge. The story is interesting, and the combat is intuitive yet challenging.
This is the latest game of the series. Though it's too good. It's far better than the others. The graphics is awesome(can't differentiate between reality and this) and the fighting is the best, the camera always stays behind the person so, the fight is more strong and fun. The Eagle vision is much better than the others which shows the path better. And the slow motion while jumping off a tree while killing a person is damn good! I bet this is the best assassin's creed entry in the franchise's lifetime.
This Assassin's Creed game was able to be get back up the franchise after the failure of Assassin's Creed Unity. And by far, it's one of the best Assassin's Creed game. - McUniqueKiller2
The Best I've ever played. This is a new Creed, a perfect evolution of everything that has come before and even has a new modern day element that means you might just care what happens next. Can it be beaten? I don't think so
One of the best Assassin's Creed games! I think Jacob is better than Evie because he's more relatable. And to anyone complaining about how Evie only has 25% of missions especially for her needs to realize that Jacob also only has 25% of missions especially for HIM. The other 50% is for EITHER OF THEM, and there is some other missions for ANOTHER FEMALE CHARACTER, Lydia.
Stop complaining about Evie!
Added a lot of new features like trains, carriages and a rope launcher. Liked the idea of boroughs being taken over, but it was similar to some of the previous game (like the naval bases in Black Flag). Some of the challenges are pretty hard, and the carriage driving feels really out of place in some times. Liked the game overall, but still needed to improve some things
Splendid graphics. New inclusion of female character. Free flow style of how to deal with situations. Kind of a bland story, as it is just a remake of Brotherhood with Starrick in place of the Borgia. Music is good in some places, but sometimes (I am a fellow violinist) the music just feels not
This game is one of the best that is developed by ubisoft and made the franchise to extend with many more beautiful features and such games are needed and suitable for 8th gen consoles.
The combat and graphics are really good the only thing disappointing is that it was not the Greek/Persian Wars.
It's the best game of the new generation of games since Assassin's Creed Black Flag of the Saga.
Playing in the Greek world by travelling, exploring, killing cultists, and doing whatever feels really smooth and nice. It's a great Assassin's Creed game, in my opinion.
I've played every assassin's creed game and in my opinion, Origins is the best with the biggest map, the best graphics, and the most intricate missions. I've seen gameplay and the trailer for Odyssey and believe it will be amazing. I fit comes anywhere near Origins I will be outstanding.
This game is much better than Altair Chronicles and Bloodlines. It's not fair to compare to PS3 entries but this is actually a pretty good game if you remember it's a vita game. I was actually impressed with the gameplay.
Note -The multiplayer is terrible and there was a glitch that corrupted save files. Thankfully the glitch has been patched. Be sure to start a new game after patching.
The reason I voted for this is because it came out at the same time as AC3 but it was better in my mind and it was rerelease when AC4 black flag came out but that version change the lore and story a bit and finally the stealth mechanics were the best in this game
Worst game, the actual worst.
Liberation doesn't deserves this place
This is the best game ever it should be higher than the other ezio games on this list it has ac 2, brotherhood and revelations
This should be way higher up. Ezio is the coolest, and most badass Assassin's creed character.
This should be number one. It has Assassin's Creed 2 in it but with one major improvement : BETTER GRAPHICS. It's very nostalgic. The entire Ezio trilogy but with a graphic improvement. Should definitely be number one. It has Ezio in it he his the greatest assassin ever. by the way check out another one of Ubisoft's great games Ghost Recon Wildlands.
I didn't played it but every assassin game is best if ezio is protagonist
This game is great! It fully shows altair story
I don't like this assassin creed game
This game has good story and timeline but the gameplay isn't so good.
You can't leave and we don't knows the stony
The powers were super fun, and the outfit is one of my favorites. - ShuhBanggg
Although it was glitchy and had a cheesy ending, this is what ACIII should have been. In TOKW, Connor isn't an emotional softy. He is more like a grim reaper, which is really cool. His animal spirit costume is amazing, and the spirit powers are a really fun addition to the game. The storyline was very well executed as well. - ShuhBanggg
This seriously must the last one on this list.
I can't believe that some people even voted for this, leaving out all the other good ones. - Kaustab
I really like all ac games I have not played altair's chronicles yet but I think this is going to be a good game
Side Scroller With Short Story (But Hey Altairs Not American Anymore! ) Bad Combat (But Hey Its On Mobile! ) Bad Graphics (I Have Assassins Creed Idenity On My Ipad And Assassins Creed Altair Chronicles AC Identiy GREATLY Surpasses ACAC.
Reminds Me Of Spiderman Web Of Shadows On DS
Ac 2 discovery I think is a version of ac 2 but on ds
A story driven game which begs the player to focus on what is being told.
This dlc can take up to 20 hours to do everything. this proves this has moreLength than other games its that good. - Therandom
Freedom cry is the story of adywally when he is younger
This makes me feel the life of a slave...love adawale
This is a good mobile game in 3D montion. it is during the renaissance. in fans favorite set in Italy. after the Death of Ezio. u can costimize your chracter and its equipments
Really crap just shoot and take down boats!
One thing I hate in Assassin's creed pirates is we can't walk on land.
Lamest game ever
This is worst game ever
The worst game in ac series - malamJONES
Game IS Awesome,But I Think It Would Be More Beter If 3D Gameplay Exists
Come on this is some 2D hunk of junk
