His character development is the best in the series.

He could have been the main character if this wasn't a Gundam series.
He was a good soldier, had charisma and was loyal to his comrades. He was passionate about his job of capturing a Gundam and was very fleshed out. Then in re:vision he becomes the new Exia pilot. He's the best 00 character. There's nothing to hate about this guy. He's not boring and his position in the world makes perfect sense. A real American.
