Top Ten Best Competitive Generation 7 Pokemon

InklingSethO
Gen 7 was one of the first generations in Pokemon history when nearly every Pokemon is good in battle. But who are the best?

The Top Ten

1 Mimikyu Mimikyu

You get a free turn to set up with this creepy guy, and with a good nature, you can sweep everything in your path. - InklingSethO

This OU cute mimicking monster can have many sets, but I think my set can be great for those who struggle thinking of a Mimikyu set - Mimikyu (Pseudochu) Item: Normalium Z Ability: Disguise (obviously) Move Set: Splash, Shadow Claw/Shadow Sneak, Play Rough, Leech Life. I have normalium z for Z-Splash (boost Mimikyu's Attack by 2.5) as it has a free hit because of Disguise, it sweeps wit Stab Shadow Claw and Play Rough or use Shadow Sneak for priority with Leech Life for recovering and for a surprise attack, I would recommend using this set as Mimikyu is a threat to all Pokémon.

Mimikyu is a beast. It has a Weavile feel.
It's ability disguise makes it protect the first attack the opponent does.
So a swords dance during that turn makes it already good attack stat even better.
Then have shadow sneak for priority
Shadow claw for a stronger option if Mimikyu is faster than the target
And play rough is the strongest fairy stab move.
Give it a focus sash so that Mimikyu doesn't die to fast.
Then dominate.

2 Kartana Kartana Kartana is a dual-type Grass/Steel Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-04 Blade.

This piece of paper is a strange one indeed. With a STUPID attack stat and great speed and defense, this thing can be a sweeper OR a tank. - InklingSethO

3 Primarina Primarina

Be careful who call ugly in middle school! This lovely siren can demolish her opponents as either a tank or a revenge killer. - InklingSethO

4 Tapu Lele Tapu Lele

The strongest of the Tapus is also the cutest (in my opinion). Paired up with Choice Specs, this amazing special attacker is a force to be reckoned with. - InklingSethO

5 Toxapex Toxapex

I love its design - Seventies-Music-Fan

This squiddy sneak can stall out its opponents with Toxic and Baneful Bunker, and can heal itself with Recover. - InklingSethO

6 Tapu Koko Tapu Koko

The fan-favorite Tapu has strange stats, but you can easily work around them to demolish your foes. - InklingSethO

7 Pheromosa Pheromosa Pheromosa is a dual-type Bug/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-02 Beauty.

A slightly worse Deoxys, Pheromosa is fast and furious indeed. - InklingSethO

8 Xurkitree Xurkitree Xurkitree is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-03 Lighting.

WATER TYPES, RUN! - InklingSethO

9 Nihilego Nihilego Nihilego is a dual-type Rock/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by code name UB-01 Symbiont.

It's a good lead with Focus Sash, set up Stealth Rock and Thunder Wave and then keep attacking with STAB like Power Gem and Sludge Bomb.

Is it a tank? Sweeper? Assister? Well, it's definitely not Water type...for some reason... - InklingSethO

10 Weedle Weedle

The Contenders

11 Minior Minior

Shell Smash. White Herb. Acrobatics. RIP everyone. - InklingSethO

12 Alolan Raichu Alolan Raichu

It's cute, fast and a very good special attacker

13 Celesteela Celesteela Celesteela is a dual-type Steel/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is one of the Ultra Beasts and is known by the code name UB-04 Blaster.

Base 120 heavy slam op

Leftovers and Iron Defense with any status move! HOLY CRAP its Trump's wall :D

14 Pyukumuku Pyukumuku

This Pokemon is an absolute monster at tanking having 130 at Defense and SP. Defense. This guy learning Toxic, Soak, and Recover makes it horrifying to kill. Steel and Ground types are nothing to this guy due to it learning soak making them vulnerable to Toxic. What make's it better is it's Ability, Innards Out damaging the Pokemon that killed it. This 'mon is truly made for tanking despite it's weak appearance.

15 Tapu Fini Tapu Fini

Totally not Primarina, lol. No, seriously, it's way different. It's a great tank and gets access to Misty Terrain as soon as it gets sent out, preventing it from being Toxic stalled. Unfortunately its offensive stats aren't the hottest and it's a terrible Scald user. - InklingSethO

16 Incineroar Incineroar

The best starter we've had in a while
