These are the characters from fiction who have serious father issues who don't exactly have the best relationship with their fathers and while some do manage to repair that relationship as their story's progress while others not so much.

Its hard enough being the son of the leader of berk but its even harder when that son is nothing of what a viking is expected to be, for a large part of the movie Hiccups father Stoick was embarrassed and ashamed by Hiccup but thankfully things eventually worked out for the better.

9 Kronk - Kronk's New Groove Kronk is the secondary antagonist of Disney's 2000 animated feature film The Emperor's New Groove, and the titular main protagonist of 2005's Kronk's New Groove. Kronk often serves as Yzma's hapless henchman and a major component in her schemes to overthrow Emperor Kuzco.

Kronk's father Papi never approved of Kronk's dreams of cooking and talking to squirrels, the only thing Kronk wanted more than anything was to get the thumps up from Papi or rather his approval but no matter what he did it was never good enough for him.

10 Loki - Thor Loki Laufeyson, or Loki Odinson, is a fictional character appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the adoptive brother and archenemy of Thor, and is known as the "God of Mischief". In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character has been portrayed by Tom Hiddleston.

Tony Stark's daddy issues are a major part of his character, mainly because his dad, Howard Stark was very neglectful, he neglected Tony and his brother, Arno while growing up and always put work before family. Despite the mess, Tony Stark ended up being a great father to young superheroes such as Spider-Man!

Just like Tony Stark, Cable's father, Cyclops had no involvement in his childhood. Except, Cyclops is literally Glenn Quagmire from Family Guy. He often left his wife alone with Cable and his siblings to get drunk at bars and strip clubs and cheating on his wife, Jean Grey, as a result, he has lots of half children he left his victims with and Cable and Jean Grey being angry with him. He tries to make amends when Cable is grown up but he's never forgiven and proves he never changed because he stills has affairs with women, now it's mostly Emma Frost.

Later on Goku didn't realize it when he was a kid, but he killed his grandfather Gohan because it was a full moon, and Goku looked at it, so he turned into a giant ape.
