Top 10 Best NFL Teams Through Week 15 (2020)
Honestly, this power ranking list is gonna be hard because you got the Rams and Steelers turning out to be impostors. Some teams may seem to be a little higher than expected or not deserving of being here.
-
Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City, I mean, what is there to say? The Chiefs have been on fire, always finding ways to win in spite of bad plays. This team can beat anyone, and it's almost like they get bored, so they have to play down to their competition to give them a chance. They're built to win another Super Bowl.
-
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills have done it. They are AFC East champions for the first time since the mid-'90s. Buffalo is really starting to become a formidable contender. When they get going, they're a near-unstoppable unit. I see them potentially being a real problem for the AFC.
-
Green Bay Packers
Coming in at #3 for me is my least favorite team in the league, the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is a bad man, I'll admit. This is a team that has outperformed my expectations (unfortunately). They look to be the class of the NFC right now, all but a shoo-in to get the bye week.
-
New Orleans Saints
The Saints, to me, are the #4 team. They are coming off back-to-back losses against the Eagles and Chiefs. I'm moving them down for losing to the Eagles but can't punish them for losing to KC. The Saints do show some flaws that need to be fixed.
-
Cleveland Browns
Yeah, Cleveland is a top 5 team. They are 10-4 and have played well so far. Sure, they came up short against the Ravens, but Baker Mayfield has proven himself. Finally, the Browns are good again. They can win games and put up a fight. This is a team that could potentially win a playoff game, and who knows, they have a shot at the division now.
-
Seattle Seahawks
I've noticed Seattle flying under the radar for the past few weeks. They're all but a shoo-in to win the NFC West after the Rams lost. They're not always pretty, but they find ways to win. Seattle has won 4 of 5 and is already playoff-bound on top of that.
-
Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans have been inconsistent from time to time, but they are playing better now. Derrick Henry is out here taking souls from defenders. Tennessee is just as dangerous as they have been all season. This could be a tough out.
-
Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have actually played well. They beat the ever-living hell outta the Raiders, and they survived a close call against the Texans. Indy has been keeping pace with Tennessee, right on their heels for the division lead.
-
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have proven their legitimacy in the AFC. They played the Chiefs down to the wire, and while they lost, they caused the Chiefs fits. I moved them up because they eliminated the Patriots from playoff contention, but mostly because they have actually been good. Brian Flores has been surprisingly good as a head coach. Better than Matt Nagy.
-
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs a few weeks ago were on the ropes, but when it mattered most, they were able to win games. They beat the Vikings in what was a must-win game at that point, and Tom Brady did his thing as the Atlanta Falcons blew a 17-point lead. As of now, they are 9-5, and they control their destiny for a wild card spot. They have been on and off this season, but I think they are finally putting it together.
