Top 10 Media Works, Celebrities and Artists Whose Fanbases Infamously Worship Them As "The Gods Of Their Genres"
My advice for it: Do the Pacifist and Genocide runs, then never bother with it again unless you're feeling a sudden nostalgic need to play it again (as I occasionally do)
To be honest, Pacifist is really the only run type that actually does live up to even a QUARTER of the game's hype
(cough, to the point where it even had its GOD-awful Adult Party Cartoon spinoff get a solid B from Entertainment Weekly's Ken Tucker while golden-age Rocko's Modern Life, as in literally the ENTIRE franchise, got a D from him despite objectively being a monumentally better show to say the LEAST, cough)
I hate Ken Tucker for hating Rocko's Modern Life as well as Family Guy.
...What about Itchy and Scratchy cartoons?
It's a GOOD-tier Marvel film, yes (ignoring how LUDICROUSLY overhyped it is),
but after watching Spider-Man 2 and Into The Spider-Verse, I can pretty safely say that it is FAR from god-tier (well, apart from Thanos himself being quite possibly THE single greatest villain to ever appear in a superhero movie besides the Dark Knight Joker, that is)
Simply put, this film is the living definition of why "bigger" doesn't always mean "better"
I know it sounds weird to call Pink Season an "overrated" album, but still
Great movie but an extremely inaccurate portrayal of Batman himself, as well as overly reliant on its villains and honestly not even one-tenth as smart and philosophical as it's made out to be
(cough, it also REALLY isn't the darkest superhero movie in retrospect, wheeze)
[hell, in some ways, Infinity War is actually darker]
The Dark Knight is the best you mud cricket
Pablo Honey was just okay, The Bends was good but largely forgettable, OK Computer is hands-down one of THE greatest albums of all time, Kid A is hands-down one of THE most atmospheric albums of all time...and then after that, I honestly feel that basically all of their later albums more-or-less went down the path that was set by The Bends, with all of the weakest aspects of OK Computer also being mixed in (which was also a major problem with Kid A itself, granted, but STILL)
Also, it has not only a circlejerk sub-reddit but also a SQUARE-JERK sub-reddit
Once again, good but far-from-great Marvel movie that gets its absolutely RIDICULOUS praise mainly for being culturally influential (rather undeservedly, might I add, when considering the fact that the way that it portrayed Africa was actually kind of extremely racist in its own right if you think about it) rather than actually being good (honestly, it was just okay even at its best, as in the scenes where T'Challa got his superpowers taken away from him and was forced to prove his real strength)
Although it has some of the coolness of blaxploitation and obviously a mostly black cast, this is in no way a blaxploitation movie. Blaxploitation was a mostly 70s movement, with a little belated spillover into the 80s. It was a very specific cultural phenomenon and mostly involving white directors and producers, and eventually more African-American filmmakers emerged to tell their own stories. BP is just a Marvel movie.
I disagree, this is worshipped as a Marvel movie that happens to have black superheroes, not a blaxploitation movie, your thinking Shaft-that is the movie worship of the blaxploitation films
Without certain unbelievably top-notch ROM hacks that it just so happens to have (Z-Factor, Phazon, Eris, Hyper Metroid, Super Zero Mission, Redesign for the most part, et cetera) to back it up, this game honestly hasn't really aged all that impressively in retrospect, even without exploiting some of its more notoriously game-breaking tricks like single-wall-jumping and X-Ray-Visor Plasma-Charge Shot magnifying
Also, the soundtrack for it seems to favor Brinstar and Maridia WAY too heavily; just saying
Not even the only good white rapper; I rest my case (still amazing though)
10 already? Christ almighty this website
He is so great.
Honestly, this guy probably lives up to these claims for the most part,
but the entire concept behind his channel is just SO cliched and unimaginative
(not to mention some of the inexcusably stupid and ignorant things that he's said in some of his earlier videos, like the classic "remember when music was good BACK IN MY DAY? " for instance)
Jason is more popular and Freddy is by far more popular and worshipped than both.
I would say Jason, he is by far the most popular slasher
The Powerpuff Girls (the 1998 version) and Courage the Cowardly Dog are a billion times better than that overrated piece of junk.
Honestly though, this show actually comes pretty close to living up to its praise (at least in my personal opinion)
Well, he really is though
He is the best though
Meh...at the point that NC's at, Ralph The Movie Maker absolutely wipes the floor with him
