Top 10 Most Overrated Years

Yes, this is an oddball topic, but I will prove it can be done.
The Top Ten
1 2012 2012 (MMXII) was a leap year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2012th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 12th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century, and the 3rd year of the 2010s decade.

Everyone thought the world was going to end.

Where's 2021? That year is overrated.

The most overrated year ever.

2 2014 2014 (MMXIV) was a common year starting on Wednesday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2014th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 14th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century, and the 5th year of the 2010s decade.

I know 2014 is only halfway done, but here's why its here: frozen, turn down for what, #selfie, Call of Duty: advanced warfare, I'm happy (the song), and reboots.

EXCUSE ME? How dare you call Frozen overrated. Turn Down and Selfie may be a bunch of lockalicks ( made it up) but Frozen was a good movie!

3 2013 2013 (MMXIII) was a common year starting on Tuesday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2013th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 13th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century, and the 4th year of the 2010s decade.

9 2016 2016 (MMXVI) was a leap year starting on Friday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2016th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 16th year of the 3rd millennium, the 16th year of the 21st century, and the 7th year of the 2010s decade.

This should be higher. Years like 2013 and 2014 get bashed on because of terrible music, T.V. shows, and video games. Years like 1939 and 1941 get bashed on because of world wars. Other years of the 21st century (1950's-1980's) get bashed on because of both of those combined. But 2016 was very loved. People thought it was a perfect year when in reality, it sucked.

10 2005 2005 was a common year starting on Saturday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2005th year of the Common Era and Anno Domini designations. It was the 6th year of the 2000s decade.

The year the Xbox 360 launched, gimme a break.
