Lawn Darts
I saw one of these directly on the top of a kid's head firsthand. He looked like a Christmas tree ornament, like a character from Gumby.
It was as if he was impersonating the asterisk key. X marks the spot, and apparently, it was on the top of his head!
This is the most recalled due to trying to kill people. Jarts are darts that were recalled because they have sharp metal tips which can injure people or, even worse, kill them.

Sky Dancers
This is another recalled dangerous toy for kids. The reason it was recalled is that when it flies, it can hurt children.
Despite toys sometimes hitting kids if they're not careful, this one was still considered dangerous and was recalled.
The toys that inspired the '90s cartoon were recalled by the CPSC. However, the cartoon on VHS was out of print and only sold on Amazon.

Teletubbies Talking Po Doll
The same goes for the Talking Po Action Figure. I know that Po is from Kung Fu Panda, which is owned by Classic Media.
The company, DreamWorks, recalled the toy after it was found to say, "please bite or kick my butt."
Based on comments people have posted, this toy sounds terrible! "Bite my butt" is something that not even the Bashment Movement gals would say!
And they're always shaking their butts!

They're creepy enough without tearing your scalp off.

The reason why this toy was recalled is that if it's swallowed, it could poison you and kill you.
This toy was recalled.
I had these and thought they were disappointing. We got rid of them when we heard about the recall.

That was recalled after it referenced the lyrics to a certain song, "War" by Edwin Starr, in which the music goes like this: "WHO. WANTS. TO. DIE?" Unfortunately, Edwin Starr died while fighting for freedom.

This toy has magnets and was recalled. Kids think it's candy and swallow it. It links up in their bodies and rips organs.
Worst of all, the magnets don't appear on X-rays and need surgery to be removed.

It got recalled because it was found to be a fire hazard. I still have mine from when I was around 7 years old somewhere here, though.

Polly Pocket
The Quick Clik brand involved small dolls which were a choking hazard. They had magnetic clothing that snapped off violently.
Yet, some kids hurt themselves purposefully, so they were recalled.

These looked colorful and fun but contained flammable diesel hydrocarbons. Being a long, stretchy toy, it led to 410 incidents.
294 of those incidents involved strangulation, and 116 others resulted from exposure to the hydrocarbons, which ignite when exposed to high temperatures. For all those reasons, they were finally recalled.
