Celestia always comes for some unimportant situations. Ans she does not get much attention as Twilight but I wish she could get some too. Maybe a episode with Celestia and others might be good. Celestia is beautiful how can she be underrated for some reason that is my question. And I think this should be changed because Twilights not gonna be the only one who gets attention.

So what's hilarious is that in the episodes twilights kingdom the magic ball of the three princesses magic is mostly yellow and celestias magic is yellow. And when twilight uses magic there is a ton of yellow in it. CELESTIA IS VERY POWERFUL that is one of the many reasons I love her that the show completely forgets!
Applejack

She has so much unused potential. Instead of using her potential like they do with the other five they add more potential for Applejack, but never uses it. It's so upsetting they're doing this. Please writers, give her more quality development and don't sideline her. Heck, she's even sidelined in her own episodes or made to look stupid or bad just to make the others look good. Writers, don't continue your unfair writing. If you do it proves you support suicide. A girl DIED because of your unfair treatment and writing for the mane six for crying out loud. RIP Emily, I wish I met you in person.

Mainly because this show is aimed at young kids, Applejack is underrated with her lack of glitz and glimmer and her honesty. She and Twilight are the most rational ponies, and are both very wise and mature. Her family dynamics work well and when you can see her relationship with them, it makes for the best episodes. She's not your classic tough farm girl, she's very complex, and her friendships with different characters are natural, adaptable, and healthy! She hasn't ever stirred up drama like most ponies either! Also, her mom is the cutest pony in my opinion.
Starlight Glimmer

Starlight Glimmer is a recurring character, initially an antagonist, in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She first appears in the Season 5 premiere, The Cutie Map. From The Cutie Re-Mark Part 2 to Celestial Advice, she serves as Twilight Sparkle's student in the ways of friendship.

I'll be honest, her haters have some valid points. When I consider the things she did as a villain, it's hard to accept that she didn't get any consequences of any kind. She tried to destroy the timeline for a petty revenge plot. Moreover, what the viewer didn't get to see was how Starlight ruled her village from day to day. After imagining the tactics she must have used to control all the other ponies in 'our town,' from manipulation to possible violence, it leaves me a bit disgusted. And yet, somehow, in a single song, she received instant forgiveness.
And then, in No Second Prances, she had the audacity to suggest that she didn't get a second chance, even though she should have ended up in Tartarus for all of her crimes, and even accuses Twilight, who she tried to eliminate, of not trusting her. Even worse, the scenes with Celestia and that stupid dinner were added in as a pathetic way to make Starlight look more sympathetic my making Twilight look less sympathetic in comparison.
And to top it off, she's way overpowered. She shouldn't have been able to match the abilities of Twilight, who was Celestia's number one magic student, in Every Little Thing She Does and The Cutie Map.
Spike

Always there to help others out - he's so selfless! And whenever he wants something, most of the time it gets put against him, and he's left out a lot. Is he even considered equal to the Mane 6? Why does he even hang with them anyway? Does anyone ever ask him what HE wants in life, what his destiny is? No, he's just constantly given jobs, and he doesn't speak out in fear of neglect or being sent away.
Twilight even used him as bait against a monster! That's just cruel!

Spike puts up with a lot of crap throughout the show as Twilight's assistant even if things do go out of hand for him he's always loyal and just try's hard to make is friends happy and is just a bit underappreciated in my opinion.
Zecora

I think the characters that are underrated is starting to be up in the list. Zecora used to be a double digit now shes number 6. So happy people are realizing now!

Zecora is one of my favorite characters. I still have no idea why people don't like her. She is actually pretty cool being the only known zebra in the series and yet she's still the most underrated character in existence.

Really funny how characters who are UNDERRATED are below the list while characters who are well known (and overrated to me) are above the list. But yeah, Zecora deserves better
Flash Sentry

He's SO CUTE AND HANDSOME AND CATCHY

I think that the pony version of Flash is really underrated. He has great potential. we need to see him more. I love Flash x Twilight.

Diamond Tiara

Diamond Tiara is a female school-age Earth pony and a minor antagonist who first appears in Call of the Cutie. She is portrayed as a snobbish and often bullying character in the early seasons of the show. She and Silver Spoon are classmates of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

She will be redeemed soon in one episode, one day. She's not really that bad. Its actually Spoiled rich to blame.

You'll think I'm crazy, but I actually like her! She's a good antagonist in the series!

Back off haters, Diamond Tiara is best filly because she has flaws and grew.
Vinyl Scratch (DJ Pon-3)

I don't think DJ Pon-3 is underrated because she doesn't get enough praise, I think she's underrated because most fans prefer Muffin or Dr. Hooves. Dr. Hooves is literally one of the blandest/most selfish ponies in the show. In Slice of Life, he takes Muffin to his house, gets distracted with Muffin, and then when Muffin reminds him of why they were there, he just leaves to go GET HIS SUIT TAILORED! Muffin, however, is not innocent either. Muffin was made popular because... an eye glitch that a FEW people saw. Her character doesn't amount to anything other than she's clumsy, and she likes muffins. Her first appearance was so bad, Hasbro and DHX pulled her from the show entirely. I will admit, every since Slice of Life, her character has been getting better and better, to the point that I was almost starting to think "Hey, maybe she isn't so overrated after all." And then the holiday special came out. And she was back to the way she was in season 1. They ruined her, and now she's back to square 1. Hasbro apparently knows that DJ Pon-3 is better because they made two music videos for her, in one of the EQG shorts(I think it's the one where Fluttershy tries out for coal miner number 2), she was one of the ending choices, and she appears occasionally from time to time to take her deserved spot in the spotlight, for instance, helping the main 7 in Rainbow Rocks defeat the Dazzlings.

I like her. I am surprised she doesn't get enough attention. Her design is cute. She is also the only other one along with Twilight Sparkle to want to talk to Zecora. Also, I do find her moments and her episodes to be funny. She is really smart and kind for her age.

Apple Bloom is my favourite character. I mean, she is so cute, kind, helpful, friendly and pretty. Also, I like the ship Apple Bloom x Black Gryphon!

In my opinion she is really underrated... deserves more screen time and Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo receive more attention than her.

Ok... on second thought she's not the MOST underrated character, that would go to Mayor Mare, but she's the underrated character I like the most.

She got reduced by the writers and the fandom to a comedic relief character. I know Rarity might have this problem, but the writers and the franchise do give rarity some attention.

I can believe fluttershy is higher up on the list. Fluttershy is a good character a she just overrated. Applejack is most underrated out of mane 6. Pinkie pie is also underrated. Idk her fans are ok amount but seeing so much love for flutters, rd, twilight, and rare, even princess Luna can get annoying. On top of that the fans sometimes treat their faves like they are good at everything(powerful, smart, strong, and beautiful) and the best at it too. Pinkie pie I actually think more people would like her compared to at least fluttershy. Ig too much shy peeps in the world that relate to the I'm shy thing. Fluttershy I get because of that but at the same time don't. I don't see the appeal to her. She cute but she isn't at pretty as she looks in my preference. She really kind that's what I like about her. I see her getting favourited in the episodes too. Of course, she has this Flutterbat thing, could have given to applejack and the lesson of the episode would be the same. Of course, we get to see her in different styles( like the emo one where she would actually never were and the plot line sucks for it too). It's so clear what they do with fluttershy. Like at least rd, rare and Aj actually have plot lines for the outfits they were. Pinkie pie is funny, cute, and extroverted. She is also the pink pony!! She needs more love!!! We need more peeps on the world who are like her.

Why are Rarity fans so spoiled? Her being more voted on than Applejack her even proves it. I'm starting to despise Rarity fans, if only Applejack got as much good treatment as her I'd be happy.
