Top Ten Not At All Nerdy Quotes From Albert Einstein

The Top Ten
1 “Intellectuals solve problems, geniuses prevent them.”

He knew what he was talking about.

2 “Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.”
3 “Everything should be as simple as it is, but not simpler.”
4 “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

I live my life the 2nd way

5 “A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be happy?”

Depends what's in the bowl of fruit.

6 “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”
7 “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”

No, what Albert Einstein is trying to say is that he had no inborn special talent. It was his curiosity about the working of the universe and his passion to accomplish this made him what we know of him as now. This created in him the passion for physics and maths (an important tool of physics of course) which led to the development of one of the greatest scientists as we know of now.

Is this some kind of joke?

8 “Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.”
9 “He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.”
10 “Everyone should be respected as an individual, but no one idolized.”

That's a good thing to remember and live by.
