Top Ten Pokemon Dinosaurs

In Pokemon there are many dinosaurs, but just who ranks highest?
The Top Ten
1 Tyrantrum Tyrantrum, known in Japan as Gachigoras, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

He is the best

A true tyrant, he dictates players who don't want to train at night just for some fragile prehistoric creature that gets an OHKO from the one Pokemon that every player gets - that also has a mega. This tyrantrum also can use charm, imagine trying to survive from a T-Rex that you love!

I am an Pokemon fan I am an Pokemon artist also I know all Pokemon name and in gs ball episode I know which Pokemon is inside it is celebi

Shiny Tyrantrum from generation 6 is one of the strongest pokemon. He is a blue T-Rex with insanely overpowered moves! I'm surely gonna vote for him.

2 Rampardos

Highest attack freak

When diamond came around, people were wary about Brock's incarnation, Roark, would kill with his onix, but then, once you get past geodude and onix, bam you get totaled by the pre-evolution of this guy, need I say more?

I love rampardos he's the best on my team

He is so awesome.

3 Tyranitar Tyranitar, known in Japan as Bangiras, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Personal favourite and mega tank, in double battles I always find him to be a beast, the only thing that stops him from ranking top is that he has absolutely no coverage from his dual typing and can be tiring to try and think of new ways to cover his weaknesses.

Is over powerd because it attack gains 60more damage for each damage counter on the oppnents pokemon

4 Charizard Charizard, known in Japan as Lizardon, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Charizard first appeared in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue and subsequent sequels. They have later appeared in various merchandise, spinoff titles and animated and printed adaptations of the franchise. Shin-ichiro Miki, the actor who voices James in the original Japanese version of the Pokémon anime, voices Charizard in both the Japanese and English-language versions of the anime. An orange, draconic Pokémon, Charizard is the evolved form of Charmeleon and the final evolution of Charmander. It has two other forms, Mega Charizards X and Y, which are its ...read more.

Although I am not a fan due to loving blastiose and killing fire types, it's kind of hard to not be intimidated by this overpowered lizard. in addition, his dragon/fire mega forces you to pick up that geodude you abandoned.

I LOVE CHARIZARD. he's a fire type and can mega evolve into mega charizard x and y.

5 Haxorus

This 5th gen monster has a habit of human players out and dishing out irregular moves and fooling ice types in the process.

6 Dragonite Dragonite, known in Japan as Kairyu, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I will get a lot of angry rants from putting this guy way down here, but think about weaknesses, this guy can only be used as a tank with the overpowered hyper beam in every moveset, having required to battle Lance in two games for an unlimited amount of battles, you get used to strategies that take this guy down, but there is a reason he's on this list, it never gets old to this guy, crushing little kids dreams as they imagine a giant blue sea serpent and get this odd specimen, whilst humbling the semi-experienced gamer with its perfect stats.

7 Aurorus Aurorus, known in Japan as Amaruruga, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

The most underrated dragon. Falling to the likes of Charizard, Tyrantrum and Tyranitar...
Can you just give Aurorus some love?

8 Tropius

I am not sure if he's here for personal reasons, or the fact that it's brachiosaurus-tree hybrid that flies! Or if it's the part where he is a renewable source of honey and mega killer in one, you decide

9 Aerodactyl Aerodactyl, known in Japan as Ptera, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

It has the coolest mega evolution. In Pokemon x and y, you get the mega stone from a scientist and use rock smash in the cave with Jewels to find an old amber among other fossils. Aerodactyl learns ice fang in lv.1 due to you giving the heart scale to the move reminder. Mega evolution gives it claws on its wings to boost its dragon claw attack. It is awesome.

The one Pokemon that has a tendency of making people try to get geology scientists to find a terodactyl stuck in amber, aerodactyl is amusing to develop, wondering if he's overrated or desired for a reason.

Come just look at it

10 Grovyle

They are based on raptors. I like raptors!

11 Dialga Dialga, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

14 Mega Venusaur

Best dinosaur looking pokemon

15 Rhydon
16 Mega Tyrantrum

It is my one of my favorite pokemon it also comes in my best dino pokemon team at first it is an dragon +ground type pokemon it is mega form of tyrantrum as tyrantrum it is so powerful and has many abilities it can defeat many types of pokemon it is best pokemon for me every time.

17 Archeops

This is a dinosaur

18 Venusaur Venusaur, known in Japan as Fushigibana, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Again, don't kill me for under rating your precious, this is mostly personal. Venusaur always seemed to be the third wheel, Red possessing a Charizard as his first and the loyal people who despise the fire types so they choose a blastoise and realize like me that over rated isn't technically over powered, then there's the people that realize this is happening and choose venusaur, he rocks but I despise him, torturing my baby squirtle and yelling BULBASAUR! For this rivalry I realize that he proved the perfect rival, kills you but doesn't make you second guess your choice, for this he deserves a place on my list.

19 Shieldon

I forget why but this cute little tank always seemed to take away my credibility as a master, but then toke out the beloved infernapes, who I still don't see the appeal. It also proves demeaning to battle someone and laugh at them not evolving a Pokemon into a big manly monster and then losing, that strategy has helped me a lot.

20 Torterra Torterra, known in Japan as Dodaitose, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
21 Helioptile

He's based off of a dilophosaurus

22 Groudon Groudon, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
23 Aggron Aggron, known in Japan as Bossgodora, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
