Silver is so cool! He's got a lonely heart, but he's such a loyal friend! Silver is amazing and the BEST! And he is a hero and a very intelligent hedgehog! He's also probably the most handsome out of the three hedgehog guys. Silver is a lonely guy, but he pulls it together just for his friend. He would die for her! I am head over heels for Silver! Ultimately my favorite Sonic character!
Silver is a great character, granted he's not my favorite Sonic character but here are my top 3: 1. Sonic 2. Shadow 3. Silver. I like Silver mostly because of the archie comics, and his story in Sonic 06 (I liked 06 by the way) but overall Silver is the most underrated in my opinion. For those fan girls out there I'll buy you a Silver plush.
Yeah...so he gets a ton of hate. Why, exactly, I don't know. I love Shadow, but he has more flaws than Silver. Guys cut this guy some slack, he was born in a devastating world, most likely was an orphan, and was consumed by loneliness. Silver is a poor little boi who's just fighting for his future when no one else would.
Probably the second-most underrated character next to Amy. Most of that is probably because he comes from supposedly the worst sonic game ever, Sonic 06. (I don't hate it as much) I know he has that annoying catchphrase: "It's no use!", but he's a great character with great powers and a kind heart.
Cream deserves much better and she also deserves love and respect. Forget being a sidekick,Cream should be the leader of her own squad and she deserves a much better role as a hero. there is nothing wrong with her being girly and she's better off with Tails even he himself also deserves much better. I see nothing wrong with her at all and she is truly a great character no matter what. SHE IS NOT USELESS. She has potential to become powerful. Don't blame her. SEGA, GIVE HER A CHANCE. CREAM IS NEVER USELESS AT ALL!
Nowadays there's no reason for her to appear in the games. We got plenty of characters that can glide now, and she only came in to save her mom. Why would someone kidnap a regular woman, expcally over & over again? She's even younger than tails as well. Also, as fun as u might think killer cheep cheese is... it's too overpowered.
Besides all that, I like that cream is a sweet and polite little girl.
Cream is not Tails' love interest. Stop pairing them up together, they never shown any romance towards each other in any of the games or such. Tails loved Cosmo in Sonic X and Zooey in Sonic Boom, not Cream.
It's not so much that she should get more recognition, but that she doesn't deserve all the hate. Guys, I get that you think she's useless, but she is a literal child. Like stop.
Amy Rose is a fictional character in SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is a pink anthropomorphic hedgehog with a cheerful, competitive personality, and is infatuated with the series' main character, Sonic. She serves as the first playable female character in the series. She doesn't really get too much attention. A lot of people see her as just a person who doesn't do much and is mostly useless. Sure, she may have a HUGE crush on Sonic, but she doesn't do nothing. There have been several examples of her fighting to protect her friends, specifically in Sonic X. Watch episode 9 "The Last Resort" to see what I mean. She doesn't just fight for Sonic because she likes him. She does it because she wants him to be safe.
Amy is not overrated she is the most underrated character in the whole series it's really sad actually seeing this poor twelve year old girl get so much hate when she's not even a teenager yet. Just give her time to mature. Plus she is improving. In sonic lost world she didn't do anything to be annoying and in sonic boom she's a mature young lady. Plus she's always going out of her way to help her friends! how is that annoying?

Amy Rose is constantly getting hate thrown at her because of the stupid actions of the Sonamy fanbrats and there stupid little fanfictions! I'll have you know I'm a HUGE Amy fan, she's always been one of my favorite characters, and she has been nothing but AWESOME! She turned from a damsel in distress to a kickbutt fighter. She went from childish to mature. (Also, I DOn't ship Sonamy, yeah, I actually like her as a character).
I like Amy but her voice can be annoying at times but she still is awesome I mean she has a giant ass hammer for crying out loud! She will always be one of my favorite character.
I just hate the scene in "Defective Detective" where Vector, Espio, and Charmy are introducing themselves and Charmy never gets a chance. It was kind of rude for Espio to budge in and interrupt him like that.
Sure this guy was annoying in Sonic Heroes and Shadow The Hedgehog but he is just a energetic kid cut this guy some slack huh?!

Well, Big the Cat and Rosalina (from Mario) are finally meeting each other's matches - themselves. Anyways, in Sonic Adventure, I best liked Big the Cat's gameplay. Just kidding. I still love that kitty, though.
People hate this cat because of his gameplay from Sonic Adventure (which I do too) but he is not always like that example in Sonic Heroes he lost Froggy again but there's NO FISHING involved!
So what most his lines consist of 'froggy' and his fishing games sucks. He's just a chill character that would rather relax than fight. Nothing wrong with that. It's nice he really cares for his only friend
Often hated by most people because they like Blaze better, but I disagree. Both Blaze AND Big are good characters.
Jet the Hawk is a character from SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog series. Jet is very arrogant, prideful, and always seeks riches and fortunes. While also the Babylon Rogues' leader, Jet rarely takes his responsibilities seriously, though he knows how to assert his authority. The reason I mostly play Sonic Riders games is because of The Babylon Rouges they are pretty funny.

Chris Thorndyke is a fictional character and the main human protagonist of the Anime series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series created by Sega, Sonic X. I'm glad he's on the list. I used to hate him in the series for some reason. But now, I just feel like he's a bit of a likable character and mostly to feel sorry for. Reason why? Because of the deleted scene from episode 51. That scene was about Chris' backstory with his parents. He asked for them if he acts good for his caregivers, they'll come back, and they promised him for it, but then they didn't! Especially on his birthday, they didn't appear. It's so sad, it really shouldn't be deleted scene for the English series. 4kids is just trying to make Chris a horrible, unreasonable character with a secret backstory nobody could ever notice. I saw a fanmade game series that Chris somewhat appears in (Sonic Omens) and dies. I still feel sorry for Chris.
Underrated? Yeah no. That would be a major understatement. He's overrated for how much he is talked about being hated. But who could blame everyone for hating him? He's a snarky little crybaby sonic fanboy that needs to get over himself and Sonic.
Everyone says that he is a whiny brat, but he's more than that. Think about it. If it wasn't for him, then Sonic would've drowned in the first episode. He saved his life, so he's more than just a whiny brat.

If Fang the Sniper actually had a Southern accent, I would consider him lovable for a hillbilly like Classic Sandy Cheeks and Mater (from the Cars duology). Team Hooligan is underrated, especially Bean the Dynamite. Fang the Sniper can jump higher than his height and is brainy. Love him for that.
She is one of the greatest female Sonic characters unlike Modern Amy Rose. She is well-loved only due to the broken Sonic fanbase, like many other heroic Sonic characters.
Another incredible sonic character and should not be underrated
Espio The Chameleon is a Sonic character first appearing in the 1995 Sega 32X title, Knuckles' Chaotix alongside Charmy Bee and Vector the Crocodile. Espio's appearance in Knuckles' Chaotix depicts him as a character with a hot temper which causes Charmy to remind him about his manners. In Sonic Heroes, his personality takes a dramatic change becoming a ninja and being the cool, calm and collected one of Team Chaotix. Espio is the speedy member of Team Chaotix and can turn invisible which makes him a huge asset to his teammates: Charmy Bee and Vector the Crocodile. I see people hating this guy because he was the reason Mighty The Armadillo retired well actually I heard rumors that they might bring Mighty back in later sonic games.
Vanilla has been many things in the fanon from a milf to a VORE pred.
I would say that she's underrated but, she isn't as underrated as you think; besides, we need more Vanilla drawings and Stories.
She deserve a bigger role and she deserve to be a hero.

Vector the Crocodile is a fictional anthropomorphic crocodile from the Sonic the Hedgehog series who debuted in Knuckles' Chaotix in 1995, and later returned in Sonic Heroes as head detective of the Chaotix Detective Agency. With a great love for music and money (the latter which he is always short on), Vector is a clever detective who will always help those in need for free. He was one of the first characters created for the Sonic franchise, supposed to appear as part of Sonic's band in the original Sonic the Hedgehog game in 1991. I wish I could vote for most of the Chaotix. But seriously, Vector the Crocodile is just as powerful as the Flight Leaders and other Power Leaders from Sonic Heroes. What's not to love?!
He's a good character. Sure, he may be broke, but he's a nice guy, despite the fact that he is a crocodile.

This guy deserves a lot of credit. Did Eggman or Shadow ever succeed in killing Sonic? Mephiles did. Even if it was non-canon, it happened before being erased from history.

As much as Silver is my all time favourtie fictional character, I feel he's both under and overrated! Omega is Gamma but is you gave him the Sonic Boom Knuckles treatment. Only difference? Omega is brilliant. Watch the Super Gaming Bros play Team Dark, Sonic Heroes on YouTube and you'll fall in love with this guy!
Forget Mettaton, Omega is the sexiest robot out there (I appreciated that 'handsome' comment).
On a serious note, in a series full of over-dramatic characters and throwaway robots, it's refreshing to have a character who is good at what he does and stays true to his one goal- annihilating Eggman's robots! Gotta love his quotes from Sonic Heroes
I agree on this list for E-123 Omega so Super Duper Underrated. Same for Silver the Hedgehog. He's underrated too.
I like E-102 Gamma but I think E-123 Omega is more powerful.
I know she is mostly a ripoff of Peach from Mario, but she doesn't deserve as much hate as she gets. I know the scene where she kisses Sonic is a bit...weird. But she did it for a reason. She kissed him so that Sonic could be brought back to life. If it wasn't for her, then Sonic would still be dead and Mephiles would've taken over the world as Solaris. That's all I can really say about her, but think about my words please.
I can't see why she is underrated. To be honest I always thought she was badass because she was the only one aside from Violet Parr who had the ability to form a rolling Incredi-Ball when pairing up with a speed type character. So yeah I definitely give Princess Elise a lot of credit.

Rouge is very underrated she is a amazing fitter a awesome thief, she will always be a favorite in my book, and no I don't like her because she's sexy I'm a girl I think she's a badass!

Some people think he's a copy of Mephiles. But he's not. He's far from that. Mephlies was born from pure darkness and just wants to take over the world because he can. Infinite is different. Infinite wanted to help Eggman because he was tired of losing. In Episode Shadow, it was shown that Infinite's team, the Jackal Squad, was destroyed. Infinite then tried to destroy Shadow because he was upset about him defeating his team. He joined Eggman and got his powers because he wanted things to change, and he thought the only way to do that was to change himself.

definitely. He's the cutest one too! Especially his voice! I love haow he was played in sonic Mania Adventures and just how he got revived. (his voice would be the Tails and Sonic Pals voice just because the Sega Sonic the Hedgehog arcade game wouldn't be enough to judge on)
SEGA revived him and Mighty, so they are thankfully getting more attention now, thanks to Sonic Mania Plus!

Miles Prower, more commonly known by his nickname Tails, is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a significant main character after the title character Sonic, who is also his best friend. Miles "Tails" Prower, the most dangerous mind in the series; the most dangerous minded in the main canon, the most dangerous genius to ever live is underrated... you lot do know that the fans talk about him a lot and that his been mentioned countless times among the most popular Sonic characters such as Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles and Amy other geniues such as Eggman, Starline, Wave and Kit and other cute characters such as Marine, Charmy, Cream, Honey, Vanilla and Cheese.
Tails is pretty close to being the William Afton of the Sonic the hedgehog fandom, if Tails is going to die he'd die doing what he loves; crushed to death in a robotic suit that his made himself, Tails is an amazing character and to tell the truth everybody loves him alongside Sonic and Shadow - and Knuckles, we need to throw the meme in something now don't we.
It's very upsetting that Modern Amy Rose gets more love than the members of Team Sonic, Team Dark, the Chaotix, Blaze the Cat, "Team Mighty", Metal Series, Silver the Hedgehog and etc.
He is Sonics little friend... saves his life, you can't have sonic without Tails, and he's so cute <3 and he grabs all the ladies, pulls Sonic out of fans and danger, and he taught Sonic to WAIT and make a PLAN!

I was talking about most Classic Sonic characters when I added Classic Eggman to the list. Yeah, I know. I prefer Classic sonic over Modern Sonic for many reasons.

I will say that Chronicles was ok at best, but I for one really enjoyed the edition of Shade. I mean she's a futuristic techno ninja from the distant past that can leech another's life force and even teleport. The overall plot and by extension her character arc was kinda under done, but with some more fleshing out Shade could be an awesome addition to the Sonic crew!
I admit the game she is in, Sonic Chronicles is an ok game, but she as a character sucks. She looks weird and stupid and her attacks in the game are weak.

She is honestly one of my favorite Sonic characters of all time. She is nice, cute, and did something extremely sad and epic at the end of Sonic X. It would be awesome if SEGA decided to put Cosmo in a Sonic game. She is very underrated.
Team Sonic has good Sonic X characters (especially Knuckles). The Chaotix (excluding Modern Charmy Bee, whom Daviddizor overrates big time) is another good Sonic X character. Team Rose has surprisingly terrible Sonic X characters that are too overrated no matter what.
My all time favourite underrated character among Sonic and his friends. Escaping the Meterex, helping Tails while creating a love relationship with him, a loving family, and sacrificing herself for the Universe just to restore peace ☮️ is just enough why Cosmo must be added in SEGA games.
