Top Ten Childhood Memories
This used to really annoy me. I wish my parents had installed button switches. It would have made my childhood life much less stressful.
I thought I was the only one who did that.
I thought I was the only one that did this. Guess not.
I always did this, laugh out loud.
Every night when I got scared of the dark, I always played games in my head to take my mind off it.
Sometimes I was afraid of the dark, but not all the time.
It was Friday, August 2, 2013, the day before my 7th birthday and the last day of summer camp for me that year. I remember having my first baby tooth pulled out like it was just yesterday. When I went home that day, I watched The Powerpuff Girls on Boomerang, and I put the tooth under my bed that night.
When I woke up the next day on my 7th birthday, I found $5 under my pillow.
I did this as a kid, but my parents always used to put the chairs and blankets back.
I love coming home from places at night. Coming home during the day is boring and lame in my opinion as a night owl.
The Newcomers
I have a bunch of memories of this for some reason.
There is a Chinese kid's song dedicated to this. Thanks to whoever created that song for messing up my fruit-eating habits during childhood, and every other Asian kid's as well.
I did this a few times when I was 5 years old.
My grandma used to take me to Toys R Us when I was a kid. Too bad it went out of business.
I used to watch Animaniacs every Saturday when I was in elementary school.
Then you wish you were a kid again.
I used to do this and my dad would get mad at me.
I love this list! During day trips with the family, I used to look up at the moon at the seaside and be amazed that it was still there when we got home. Oh, the wonders of being a child.
I used to hate going to the dentist when I was little due to my anxiety disorder. In fact, I remember when my mom thought I had a doctor's appointment once when I was 4 or 5 years old even though I had a dentist's appointment that day. I knew I had an appointment with the dentist that day but I kept my mouth shut because, as much as I disliked seeing the doctor, it was still better than seeing the dentist to my young mind.
Eventually, my mom remembered that I had to see the dentist that day and I was disappointed. I also remember dreading going to the dentist for a filling on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, when I was 4 years old. I was sedated under general anesthesia and I don't remember what happened after the procedure, but I do remember what happened before the procedure from waking up that morning to being called into the room at the dentist.
