The top 10 coolest-looking lightsabers from the Star Wars saga.

1. Darth Maul's Lightsaber

   

   Double blade and spin-off - that's awesome. Why is Darth Maul my favorite? The answer is this lightsaber.

   It has two blades. Good. Twice the pride, double the fall.

   I love his blade. A double lightsaber can let you fight more than one Jedi.

2. Mace Windu's Lightsaber

   

   Fun fact: Samuel L. Jackson asked George Lucas on set if he could have his lightsaber in the color purple, and George Lucas accepted Samuel L. Jackson's request. George Lucas didn't think of this. He was just being asked, and then he accepted this as an idea for his films.

   Awesome, as it's unique and apparently is only used by Grey Jedi, who are the most powerful Force users. One of Mace Windu's apprentices has a purple blade, and he was the strongest Jedi. He also founded his own lightsaber form, which was the Way of the Bendu.

3. Anakin Skywalker's Lightsaber

   

   It's not the best-looking (for me), but it certainly is the most famous. Look, it went all the way from the prequels with Obi-Wan telling Anakin not to lose it. Then Obi-Wan took it to give it to Luke, who lost it in The Empire Strikes Back, but Rey later got it.

   It then got destroyed in The Last Jedi. It's probably the lightsaber that gets the most story out of all the others, and it's the most iconic.

4. Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber

   

   Green is an awesome color, and the hilt is unique and cool-looking.

5. Count Dooku's Lightsaber

   

   Why is the blade in this picture purple? Dooku's lightsaber was red.

6. Inquisitor's Lightsaber

   

   Great handle. It can spin, so it acts like a mini-helicopter.

   Handle with spinning ring. Double blade. Red in color.

7. Obi-Wan Kenobi's Lightsaber

   

8. Darth Sidious's Lightsaber

   

   This is one of the most creatively-styled and designed lightsabers I've ever seen. The scene where the lightsaber just snapped into Sidious's hand in 'Revenge of the Sith' was one of the most stunning parts of the movie.

   The best fighter ever, and with the golden hilt, it makes the lightsaber so much better.

9. Kylo Ren's Lightsaber

   

   It's a really badass lightsaber because it can be used for Trakata techniques, as well as for both brutal attacks and fierce defenses. It's also good for making very cunning maneuvers against even an experienced opponent. What's more, it's an original design for the weapon.

   It is the best because it can block attacks from the side. If Qui-Gon Jinn had used it, he would still be alive.

   Epic. Kylo Ren is the best, just like his lightsaber.
