Worst High School Classes
Most High school classes are already hard enough as it is but these classes just plain suckJust a warning: Geometry is way different than other math classes, and it's pretty difficult. I was actually okay at math until I got to this class.
And you thought algebra was bad. Geometry is the single most useless and hardest class I've ever taken (besides physical education).
You thought Algebra was hard? Good luck in geometry.
And I thought Chemistry was hell when it comes to memorizing formulas...
A useless class where you waste the whole year just to learn that gravity exists.
I don't think so. I'm interested in quantum physics and relativity, so I'll be fine.
By far the most useless class in school. I'm sure analyzing some 16th-18th century texts and learning about literary devices will be super helpful in the real world.
Doesn't really need much of an explanation. Unless you're into books, this class sucks. And on top of that, some English teachers are not your friend.
A useless class where you waste your time just to learn that grammar is important.
This class was just stupid. Everything my teacher taught was easy, but he put stuff on the test we'd never heard of or were taught. It could've been an easy A.
It's not hard, but it's so boring. All you do is fill out packets about nutrition.
They just repeat the same thing every year.
I don't care about the government.
Boring and useless. I really don't care about metaphors or some boring Shakespeare text that makes absolutely no sense.
You thought regular English was bad? Ha, Honors English is worse.
This is the easiest class ever. All those AP social studies classes are harder.
I think it's just kinda boring. The only thing exciting is the labs, which don't happen very often.
You need to memorize a bunch of information.
Last year in 11th grade, I took this class for a month. It was terrible. I had a teacher who was very strict about grading, and it was easy for grades to drop in that class. I was failing. Luckily, I dropped that class for an easier version of chemistry called "Chemistry in the Earth's System." The teacher in that class was much better, allowed us to use notes on tests, and didn't give us too much work. I mostly finished the homework in class and ended up getting an A.
I thought Biology was bad until I took Chemistry during my sophomore year. Memorizing and naming chemical formulas is really annoying.
The Newcomers
The teacher was nice, but this class was boring, and I've no doubt it was the topic that made it such.
A grueling class that has one of the highest failure rates in high school. It's not a subject you can rely on memorization for. You need a completely different mindset to understand it fully.
A useless, simple class where they teach you to run.
This is the kind of thing your parents should tell you. Oh my gosh, this class sucked.
I had to take this class in grade 10. It sucked. It was one of the worst high school subjects, but the only good thing I learned from this class was about STI illnesses.
I was forced to take this in grade 10. I hated it, but it was still good to learn about STI illnesses.
DON'T get me started on this class. I take AP World History, and the DBQs (Document-Based Essays) kill my grade. When am I ever going to use this again?
Redundant class that you won't need in your life anyway. At best, it should be a YouTube video.
I don't care about history. It's already happened.
It has completely different sentence structures and is just a tricky subject overall.
A useless, simple class where you waste the entire year learning that x is a variable.
A useless, simple class where you waste two years just to learn that adios means goodbye.
My high school special ed teacher treated me like I was dumber than a first grader.
The class is interesting, but I hate the tests with a passion. Still, I passed the first semester.
Ugh, this is so boring and useless. You study so much, and the information is so easy to forget.
Band is not stupid or dumb. You get to learn an instrument, and it's fun. The band teacher doesn't care if you mess up.
If you miss a single assignment, you're screwed for the entire year. You also put in too much work for the little credit you get back.
