Top 10 Super Mario 3DS Games
While not at Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy heights, 3D Land does a great job at giving people a good time. It has amazing graphics, great gameplay, and really good music. The difficulty is also reasonable. The Tanooki Suit and Boomerang Flower were good additions.
Well, not as good as Super Mario Odyssey, but it is still a good game.
I like to play in this colorful land.
It's good to see Luigi in a starring role again, and this game fits him perfectly.
Jeez, the online mode was so great. It was the most played Mario Kart game... until Mario Kart 8 came out.
In one word: Luigi is the star of this game. So, it's a good game.
Awesome soundtrack, the Dream World is tons of fun, and the story is hilarious.
Good God, this game lived up to my expectations, which were really high. Melee and Brawl are both some of my favourite games.
Better than Mario Party Island Tour. I'm so glad they made this game as the second Mario party for 3DS.
The Newcomers
Bowser's Minion was a great mode.
This game is funny and nice to play. The story mode is interesting, and the variety of sports makes this game one of my favorites.
This is the only Mario and Sonic game I liked. In fact, it's the only Sonic game I like.
While I don't like this game much, I'm trying to get to world 10. It's fun at first, but once you get to the World 1 castle, it gets pretty boring.
I know to comment is to vote, so my negative criticism is meaningless here, but the game is just objectively bad. Not just as a Paper Mario game, but as a game in general. It's very monotonous, irritating, and frustrating, not because it's puzzling like Zelda, but rather because of its poor and generic level design mixed with its obscure puzzles that require enormous leaps in logic.
To add to that, the bosses are either unoriginal or bigger versions of enemies you've already seen, and they rely on using unique stickers (basically summons) to beat them. There's no reward for battles, linear as well as frustrating and obscure level design that heavily relies on walkthroughs to make it playable, repetitive, monotonous gameplay mechanics, and areas that are at complete odds with the ENORMOUS spike in difficulty that encompass the bosses. Yeah, no, no. The game is just objectively bad and it revolved around fake difficulty that is either annoying and obscure, or boring and repetitive.
It takes 30-40 hours on each of the two games to beat.
The characters for this game were decent.
This is one of the most underrated Mario games. This game needs more love since it is the best original portable Mario game. The main reasons you should play this game are to experiment with the bunny power-up and space zone.
This is the only Gameboy game you really need to own since Link's Awakening will soon be ported to the Switch. Get this game before it gets forgotten.
