The 2012 Rumble had one of the weakest roster of participants with several entrants being surprise entrants not to mention all three commentators participating including Michael Cole so with out further ado lets countdown the top superstars who participated in the 2012 Royal Rumble.
Christopher Keith Irvine, better known by the ring name Chris Jericho, is a Canadian-American professional wrestler, musician, media personality, actor, author, and businessman, currently signed to AEW. Entered at #29 and was originally suppose to win the rumble before WWE changed it due to everyone expecting Jericho to win Jericho eliminated David Otunga and Randy Orton and was the last superstar left with Sheamus before being brogue kicked by Sheamus for the elimination.
Stephen Farrelly is an Irish professional wrestler and actor. He is currently signed to the American professional wrestling promotion WWE, where he performs under the ring name Sheamus. The winner of the rumble after entering at #22 and eliminating Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho for the win.
Michael Gregory "Mike" Mizanin is an American professional wrestler, reality television star, and actor. He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown Live brand under the ring name The Miz. Started the rumble at #1 and put on a great performance lasting the longest in the match and eliminating Alex Riley, R-Truth, Mick Foley.
Randal Keith "Randy" Orton is an American professional wrestler and actor who is signed with WWE, where he is a member of the SmackDown brand. He is a 12-time world champion, having held the WWE World Championship eight times and the World Heavyweight Championship four times. The hometown hero Orton entered at #28 eliminating Jey Uso, Wade Barret and Big Show and was eliminated by Chris Jericho.
Paul Randall Wight, Jr. is an American professional wrestler and actor, better known by his ring name Big Show. Entered last at #30 eliminating Jack Swagger, The Miz, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler and was eliminated by Randy Orton.
Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah is a Ghanaian-American professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE under the ring name Kofi Kingston, in which he is a member of The New Day along with teammates Big E and Xavier Woods. Entered at #11 and despite not eliminating anyone Kofi managed to save himself from elimination by standing on his hands to get back in the ring Kofi was later eliminated by Sheamus.

Rhodes is also known for his time in All Elite Wrestling, where he served as an executive vice president and was the inaugural AEW TNT Champion. Entered at #4 eliminating Santino Marella, Jerry Lawler, Booker T and Hacksaw Jim Duggan was eventually eliminated by Big Show along with Miz.
Only the third woman to enter a Royal Rumble entering at #21 eliminated Hunico and would have eliminated Michael Cole if Jerry Lawler and Booker T hadn't done it themselves.
Entered at #24 didn't get a single elimination as he was eliminated by Randy Orton.
