Top 10 Worst Disney Renaissance Characters

These are the worst, most DESPICABLE characters in the Disney Renaissance movies.
The Top Ten
1 Ariel (The Little Mermaid) Princess Ariel is a fictional character and the title character of Walt Disney Pictures' 28th animated film The Little Mermaid.
2 Terk (Tarzan)

She's super annoying and her design also sucks.

Horrible character and evil Rosie

3 Megara (Hercules) Meg is a heroine from the Disney movie Hercules. Meg is the love interest for, the protagonist, Hercules. Meg sold her soul to Hades for her boyfriend's freedom. However, the (soon to be ex) boyfriend ended up cheating on her. Meg is scared of getting hurt again. However, once she sees how genuine Hercules's feelings for her are she learns to let herself love again.
4 Victor (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

These guys are so infuriating. They even have a really dumb song number that doesn't add anything to the film. So many great songs then they have this one bad song that drags the film down. The gargoyles are such a terrible part in an otherwise great movie.

5 Hugo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

They were a blemish on an otherwise delightfully dark movie.

6 Laverne (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
7 Hercules (Hercules)

Hercules is the main hero of the film. Yet nothing about him really stands out. He’s just a stereotypical hero character. He does a bunch of heroic acts to prove himself worthy and he ends up with a girl at the end. This guy reminds me too much of Superman. This is far from being the movie’s biggest problem, though. I still think it’s dumb that even after saving hundreds of people, he still wasn't able to go back to Olympus until he risked his life to save Megara. So saving one life is better than saving hundreds of lives? You could say that it was because he was willing to give up his own life, but you could also say that about everything else he did throughout the film. I hate this movie so much.

8 John Smith (Pocahontas)

An absolutely bland character with very little development. Seriously, I don't even remember a single line from him. He doesn't have any memorable moments. He’s just so dull. Pocahontas is kinda a dull character too, but she at least has moments where she shines. John Smith is so forgettable and one of the weakest aspects in this already weak movie. They could’ve even given him something insanely dumb to do and I would at least still probably remember it. They did it with Pocahontas herself. Like when she learned to speak English from THE WIND!

Who? Oh yeah this guy is just so forgettable and bland. I don't remember anything significant about him or what he did in the movie other than that he liked Pocahontas. That’s literally all there is to him

9 Chi-Fu (Mulan)

He always says SHES A WOMAN

10 Nala (The Lion King) Nala is a fictional character who appears in Disney's The Lion King franchise and is introduced in the animated film The Lion King in 1994.
The Contenders
11 Flounder (The Little Mermaid)

Flounder is very harmless and is nowhere near as bad as Ariel, but he does absolutely nothing. He’s only there so Ariel can have a sidekick, but he adds absolutely nothing to the movie. I mainly only remember him doing things in the beginning when him and Ariel are finding objects. That’s mainly because he’s whining and being afraid of everything there. However, I kinda feel bad for him because he has to put up with Ariel’s carelessness. He almost died because of her. Why he still remains as her friend is beyond me. Flounder’s not an entirely bad character, but he is a very pointless one.

12 Governor Ratcliffe (Pocahontas)
13 Clayton (Tarzan)
14 Frank (The Rescuers Down Under)
15 Mushu (Mulan)

He was a great character in the original Mulan, but the sequel ruined his personality and made him completely unlikable.

It looks like the Teen Titans Go characters messed up Mushu's personality for Mulan 2
