His death was announced to the Polandball community on April 27, 2019, by r/Polandball supermoderator and YouTube video game live streamer DickRhino on his YouTube channel after the family of brain4breakfast gave their go-ahead to allow the disclosure of his death.
However, his cause of death remains unknown to all but a few despite speculation.

Brain4breakfast had a huge impact on me. He inspired my passion for history, and I genuinely miss seeing his videos appear in my inbox. The world has lost an amazing man.

He had 11.6 million subscribers at the time he died. He died in a paragliding accident on July 28, 2019, at 39.
He was the biggest name on YouTube to die after XXXTentacion until Sulli. Now he is the most famous deceased YouTuber to have a channel that didn't rely on music. His death shocked the YouTube community and the internet. R.I.P.
