Top 10 Things YouTube Should Ban
Here is a list of things that should happen to YouTube for its own good, as it has messed up really badly.
-
Clickbait
As a result of monetization, YouTube videos are no longer expressions of whatever posters want to show or make. They are designed only to get as many clicks as possible. The sad truth is that the ads on YouTube not only spoil the channel but also its content.
Me: Ooh! This looks like a pretty interesting video (judging by the thumbnail and title).
Video: *plays Never Gonna Give You Up*
Me: Why you little-
Just make some quality videos, and you won't need to clickbait to get views.

Idiotic vloggers
Vloggers are stupid anyway. We don't need to follow people's lives at all. Honestly, the only reason I would use a vlog is in a film style to perhaps create a very interesting story.
Vlogging is a silly concept because, in all truth, why do we need to follow someone's life? I don't care if you've gone shopping or what you are eating. I think vlogs should be for adventure, like being in another country. Do a vlog of that, and it has more appeal than just everyday life.
I know a great deal of vloggers on YouTube, such as Tyler Oakley, Danisnotonfire, AmazingPhil, The Anime Man, Einshine, etc., who follow the purpose of vlogging on YouTube and also talk about things other than themselves half the time. They are true vloggers and deserve to be on YouTube while holding their title.
Yet, on the other hand, just because you or other people feel a lot of YouTube is full of stupid vloggers and you do not like them, that does not mean YouTube should get rid of them. They bring in money as well as other things.
YouTube cannot ban or get rid of a channel because of how many dislikes they get on a video or how many subscribers they lose in a day. They have to break a rule YouTube has for that to happen. As much as your opinion matters and can influence things, it is YouTube's decision to either keep or remove these people from the website.

Advertisements
In 2120, I hope advertising will be a crime. It is just as unethical and dangerous as political propaganda. I hope for a world where you can ask for information when you want to buy something, and all advertising outside that is considered pollution.
Advertisements are a way to give people attention, but YouTube is taking them too far. It's full of harmful stuff, violence, porn, drugs, etc. They should be banned.
Ads are how people make money, you know. If YouTube didn't have them, it wouldn't make as much money, and it wouldn't have as many YouTubers.

Haters
Hate leads to suffering. Seriously, they already suffered a lot.
-
Swearing
Really? It's fine if you don't like swearing, but you have to accept that it's literally everywhere on YouTube. YouTube is meant to be a place where people can see videos, but not just little children.
There are many older people who need information and entertainment, too, and it often isn't suitable for children. There is mature content everywhere on YouTube. It's everywhere in the WORLD as well, like on TV, in movies, books, and all. There is lots of content for children, too, but still.
The responsible thing parents should do for their children is turn on Restricted Mode or keep track of what they're watching.
You can't just ban swearing. Personally, I agree that it's an issue with gamers and bloggers repeating inappropriate language, but you can't just stop it because it is natural for some people and it's part of their vocabulary.
However, I do agree there should be warnings on these videos because kids do watch random videos, and it can teach them bad language.

Alt-right
The alt-right has the right to exist like anyone, but YouTube is actively propagating it and shoving it forward in the impressions. Disgusting.
-
Copyright paranoia
Honestly, this has gotten out of hand. Someone could make a video without any sound, and an idjit (yes, idjit. I'm not stupid, I just love Bobby from Supernatural) can come along and make a false claim saying that they used their song. YouTube will delete the video, or in extreme cases, the person's channel.
These idjits are stealing ad revenue, and if your job is being a creator on YouTube, then you won't get your money if someone makes a false claim. YouTube needs to step up their game, or else I'm sure that a lot of viewers will boycott YouTube and go to Dailymotion or something.
I am also pretty sure YouTube wouldn't care since millions of people are on there at a time, and 20,000 people boycotting the website will do nothing. I just hope that my favorite creators get the money they deserve.

Greedy people
Okay, I'm going to give you an example of a greedy YouTuber: Aparri. I'm sure you don't know who Aparri is, and I surely hope you don't. If you watch his videos, you'd think he isn't that much of a greedy guy. But let's point this out for you.
- He is obsessed with a game called ''Animal Jam.''
- He will never reply to your comments even if you are crying, telling him to.
- He hacks and tricks others.
- He will not sign your autograph unless you give him stuff.
- He doesn't ask you to subscribe. He commands you to. And he doesn't even say thank you.
- He treats his fans like slaves to give him stuff.
- All he cares about is money and stuff people give him. If he doesn't like it, he will discard it in front of them.
I'm not joking. Aparri is one of those YouTubers you can call selfish, and if there is another YouTuber that acts similarly, they can be called selfish too. But most YouTubers only care about money now, which totally sucks. I think it needs to be banned.

Repeated comments
Comments like "I'm 12 and I love The Beatles," "Who's watching in 2016?", and "Hit like if you think that bla bla bla" are just so lame.
Repeated comments are just dumb. I know because I'm a YouTuber.
Examples: "First!", "Who's watching in 2016?", "Subscribe to my channel!"
That's just stupid.
Yes, this! The who's watching in whatever year! Nobody cares!

PewDiePie
Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg (born October 24, 1989), known online as PewDiePie, is a Swedish YouTube personality, comedian, and commentator. He gained fame for his Let's Play videos and vlogs and was the most subscribed YouTuber for nearly six years, after which he was surpassed by T-Series. As of March... read more
He has more subscribers than YouTube itself, and he cannot control his swearing, which is bad for kids ages 8-12 that watch YouTube a lot. Yet, he is enough to get more than 40 million subscribers?
Nothing makes sense when it comes to YouTube, but it IS something I watch every day. What I'm TRYING to say is that PewDiePie has too many subscribers, and he is too popular.
P.S. His intro is very annoying.
Seriously? I get it, Pewds has an annoying fanbase, and he's a nuisance to us all, etc. But banning him? Are we acting like children over a popular YouTuber who has admittedly dropped in content quality? Banning him when he has done nothing wrong? His fans maybe, but not him.

People under 13
This is stupid! It's just mean to kids under 11! What is even stupider is that there is a baby! That is just bad! Ten-year-olds and nine-year-olds are not babies! They are also not stupid. They are smart!
I agree with whoever said under 10.
This should've been done already.

Unfair copyright claims
Imagine if an individual user rather than a legitimate company flagged your video for a DMCA takedown. That's not legal by any means. NintendoGamingHD has done it to VideoGamePhenom multiple times.
I'm tired of uploading a video and getting a copyright notice five minutes later.

Annoying comments
Everyone has the right to voice their opinion, and people should leave it at that. Who cares about what they say? We have the right to speak out and be honest and respectful.

LeafyIsHere
Calvin Lee Vail (born August 18, 1995), known online as LeafyIsHere or simply Leafy, is an American former YouTuber and Twitch streamer. From 2011 to 2017, and briefly in 2020, he created reaction, drama, and gaming videos but was primarily known for his commentary content.... read more
All he does is bully kids and add gameplay footage. It's not even funny.
And don't even get me started on his fanbase - they are literally spamming "HISS" everywhere! That's not funny either. It's just annoying!
-
Reaction videos
By reaction videos, I don't mean the ones reacting to shock videos and all that. Those are fine. I'm talking about people like Jinx and Tyrone Magnus who steal other people's content and add nothing to the video they're "reacting" to. This has been a major problem since before the whole Fine Brothers incident.
A normal person would just watch the video and change it if it's weird. They wouldn't use cats to post on YouTube.
The Fine Bros' videos were actually in fair use. But yeah, people like Jinx aren't.

Nightcore
A nightcore edit (also known as a sped-up song, sped-up version, sped-up remix, or simply sped-up) is a version of a music track that increases the pitch and speeds up its source material by approximately 35%. This effect is almost identical to playing a 33⅓ RPM vinyl record at 45 RPM.... read more
Nightcore has a cool-sounding name, but that's where the fun ends.
It's literally sped-up music. I have been able to easily make Nightcore in Movie Maker (I tested to see if it works). Then you slap an anime picture in the background.
Anyone can make it easily.
This means that any 9-year-old who has the capability of drawing low-quality circle tool Undertale OCs in MS Paint can easily churn out bucketloads of Nightcore music in minutes.
How to make a Nightcore video:
1. Speed up a song
2. Put it to a higher pitch
3. Slap a picture of an anime girl in the background
Now you have Nightcore. Enjoy the views, likes, subscriptions, and money you got!
See? This is extremely overrated, and mostly Nightcore versions of a song get more attention than their originals. Imagine how their artists feel. Nightcore (aka nightcrap) needs to be banned.

Bad music videos
YouTube used to have such good music videos, until those from people like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and Iggy Azalea started showing up. Don't they realize that they are horrible singers?
They can't sing, they have made horrible mistakes, they curse, they talk about sex. Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus take drugs and do a bunch of inappropriate things. They're doing it for more money, they are so greedy, and they can't seem to do anything right.
Not to mention, Justin Bieber got arrested many times for his actions. He has no fans anymore, and he's a loser. The same thing goes for Miley Cyrus. They are horrible "stars."
