It exerts considerable influence upon the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism and transportation I live pretty much in rural England, full of countryside and cowpats but when I crave mess, smells, noise, crowds, huge expense and the most diverse architecture from 1000 years ago to abstract designs of the modern era, London is the place I go to. How it was placed below Dublin is beyond me.
