Top 10 Anime Siblings
It's pretty much impossible to put them anywhere lower on this list - they're pretty much the ideal pair. I saw that most people said that Ed giving up his arm for Alphonse was proof of their bond ( which it is, duh! ), but this wasn't his only sacrifice. Edward became a dog of the military, giving up his innocence, pride, and dignity all for the sake of his younger brother. In fact, Alphonse is pretty much Edward's only reason of existence - at least at the beginning of the series. And even as he subjects himself to this fate, Alphonse watches over him to make sure he doesn't go overboard. Throughout the entire series, Edward goes through low points, and it's Alphonse who talks him out of it. It's Alphonse who reminds him to keep going. The most admirable thing about the Elric brothers, besides their bravery, determination, kindness and brains, is that they are always there for each other. They'll sacrifice anything and everything they have for one another. That is what defines the ...more
There is a reason this pair of brothers is number one. While they have their ups and downs (like any other siblings) but they would do anything for each other... literally anything! Including giving up their own limbs, lives and even souls to save each other. I think that there will never quite be a set of brothers so iconic as the Elrics.
Edward and Al are constantly looking out for one another (while also helping and/or saving other people),sacrificing themselves for each-other, and working towards their goal together as a team. Edward is the older brother and has a deep friendship with his younger brother Alphonse who'll stick with his big brother until the end-Aubergine100
The relationship between this two is completely on the next level of sibbling relationships. I have a younger brother and I feel intimidated by the bar Edward set.
They have the most emotionally involved bond that I've seen so far. Everything Itachi's done to how Sasuke feels towards his actions. It all just ends up in some kind of very mixed-feeling type of ending.
Itachi loved Sasuke too much.
Itachi sacrificed too much.
Itachi even died at the hands of his own brother, willingly.
Itachi and Sasuke's love were deep.
Not just them, their entire clan too. Posts everywhere saying no clan values/treasures love/family more than the Uchiha tell the truth.
Itachi is the best big brother ever!
This duo composes of the strongest unfused Z fighter / the fighter with unlimited potential and the youngest Super Saiyan ever. They're really powerful, and they share a strong bond too!
Two very strong warriors and sons of Goku.
Who doesn't like dragon ball?
The Princesses of Jurai their personalty's are polar opposite Ayeka is aggressive and outspoken while Sasami is gentle and compassionate she even does all the cooking, despite Ayeka's aggressiveness she still loves her sister.
I love these two. Not only is Joey my favorite character of all time but he has to be one of the best big brother's ever. The things he does to get money for his sister and when she rescued him from drowning. Yugioh was my childhood and these two shall hold a special place in my heart.
Joey enters the duelist kingdom to earn the money to pay for Serenity's operation, even after losing the finals with help from Yugi he makes good on his promise.
I just love brother-sister relationships. Especially when it's the older brother and the younger sister!
I reallyyy and I mean really get the feels whenever lelouch and nunnally are together I mean he just does the whole zero thing just to make the world a better place for nunnally I mean wow I don't know what else to say about them any more except their relationship is so cute.
Lelouch even "died" making the world a better place for his little sister.
Whenever you can play games all day with your sibling, and than spend any other time having such incredible and sweet bonding moments, you know it's a good relationship.
Do I really have to say anything? They are cute and loving and the best siblings ever. You can tell the strong relationship they have. As together, they are "Blank."
They have complete and utter trust and faith with each other. This bond is so pure and powerful
I like those maternal motherless half orphaned sisters a lot more than ever. That stupid Rumiko Takahashi should've let us know how did Mr. Tendo die. I can't believe she never ever even let us find out how Mr. Tendo died. She could've told us how did Mr. Tendo die and what's the first name of Mr. Tendo but no I bet she forgot.
The three Tendo sisters Tomboy Akane, the trickster Nibiki, & the beautiful and kind Kasumi.
At first she strongly opposes to Mizuho & Kei's marriage she tries everything to get rid him but after she send him into a standstill and sees how much she loves him she eventually accepts him.
Yo intentionally gets himself locked up in order to free his sister Minatsuki who turns out to be a total psycho, despite her craziness she eventually looks out for him when he's injured.
They have such a cute relationship considering their family. Killua seems to care about her so much and he's also the only family member who recognises her as a girl. And Alluka/Nanika has special rules regarding Killua for her power. I just feel like they have such a close bond and they're really cute together.
They are a cute sibling
They do remind us a lot of Fred and George Weasley from Harry Potter, don't they?
They are both awesome characters and only decent (alive) members of a very messed-up family.
The trust and friendliness in this sibling duet is amazing. They all care about each other and try to protect each other.
Mei misses Naru so much that she does everything she can to get her to return home even trying to hook up Keitaro with Mutsumi.
I have always loved sibiling relationships and this is by far one of my favorites. The way Puffy was willing to put himself through hell just to save Ace and how Ace didn't hesitate to sacrifice his life for his little brother is beautiful and heart breaking at the same time.
How come this isn't higher?
Both were creations by Washu so that technically makes them sisters.
Sorry, spoilers. :/
There are a lot of reasons why can't other kinds of siblings be more like Kohaku and Sango. This kind of sibling relationship is entirely a lot better than the, these and those annoying overshadowing famous sibling rivalries in every way and every other way. The annoying overshadowing sibling rivalries never ever even deserve to be famous anyway. The sibling rivalries entirely deserve to be infamous, not famous.
I like those two siblings together because they get along way better than other most siblings could. Do you hate fictional famous sibling rivalries? Do you still like fictional famous sibling rivalries?
Their story is touching me the most.
The love-hate relationship between Sakura and her brother is so hilarious to watch, especially when Touya always calls her "kaiju (monster)." Even though Touya always teases her and being mean to her, but deep down he actually loves her very much as a big brother. Sakura too also loves her brother very much, no matter how much her brother likes to tease her on the daily basis.
Touya might be mean to his little sister but deep down they both love eachother.
