Top 10 Cartoons that Use Dark Humor/Comedy

Cartoons that either focus on or generally center on dark comedy. Some cartoons honestly do this better then others. While some not as good as others. I'm not ranking them but which ones are better but rather but which ones use the most dark humor.

The Top Ten

1 South Park South Park South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show is about four boys, who are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their adventures in South Park, Colorado.

It does dark comedy so well that it's impossible to not laugh along with it.

2 Rick & Morty Rick & Morty Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Adult Swim.

This one's kind of a yes and a no depends on the episode.

3 American Dad American Dad American Dad! is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman for the Fox Broadcasting Company.

Honestly quite self explantory.

4 Aqua Teen Hunger Force Aqua Teen Hunger Force Aqua Teen Hunger Force is an American animated television series created by Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro for Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim.

Like a lot of other entries depends on the episode.

5 Robot Chicken Robot Chicken Robot Chicken is an American stop motion sketch comedy television series, created and executive produced by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich along with co-head writers Douglas Goldstein and Tom Root for Adult Swim.

Before I get comments that stock motion isn't animation let me clarify this. Both stock motion and animation involve animating a object the only real difference being the speed of how it moves.

6 Big Mouth Big Mouth

Not a fan of this show but the humor can be somewhat dark.

7 Brickleberry

The humor's somewhat dark at times.

8 Drawn Together Drawn Together Drawn Together is an American adult animated sitcom which ran on Comedy Central from October 27, 2004 to November 14, 2007. The series was created by Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein, and uses a sitcom format with a TV reality show setting.

Almost kind of rivals South Park with the dark humor used throughout most of it's run.

I never got why this was cancelled. Its 24631457th rerun still was much viewed. - Martin_Canine

9 The Cleveland Show The Cleveland Show The Cleveland Show is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Richard Appel, and Mike Henry for the Fox Broadcasting Company as a spin-off of Family Guy.
