Top 10 Meanest As Told by Ginger Characters
Well, this list has been a long time coming. As Told by Ginger, whether you loved it or hated it, was a pretty good Nicktoon series filled with memorable and relatable characters. While many of the characters were good yet flawed, there were a handful who were just vile, despicable, and downright mean. For this list, we will be looking at the top 10 meanest As Told by Ginger characters.
A straight-up horrible and vile woman who flat-out hates Lois and resents the fact that her son, Dr. Dave, wants to marry her. In the final episode, "The Wedding Frame," she tries to ruin Dave and Lois's wedding by hiring her friends and a transvestite, Nikki LaPorte, to pose as Dave's old girlfriend. They take photos to make it look like Dave is cheating on Lois. In one episode, while playing cards with Carl and Hoodsey, a fight breaks out, and she bites Hoodsey's ear.
Appearing in the episode "Driven to Extremes" as a substitute teacher for Ms. Zorski's class, she is just straight-up mean, nasty, and strict, making the entire class miserable. She forces the students to push their desks against the wall and, if anyone gets in trouble, makes them write ridiculously long essays on random subjects. The students, led by Miranda, get fed up and decide to T.P. Mrs. Grimly's house, then plan to take it a step further by pelting her with eggs. Ginger is strongly against this and actually throws herself in the way to save Mrs. Grimly from being hit by the eggs.
Despite Ginger's efforts, Mrs. Grimly doesn't thank her or acknowledge the act. She just brushes it off, saying she doesn't care what the students think of her. Not only does Ginger receive no thanks, but the rest of the class is now mad at her for ruining their prank.
Along with Andrea, Chantal appears in the episode "The Right Stuff" as part of the high school French class that Courtney and Macie are part of. When Courtney gets too close to Darren's older brother Will, and Macie unwillingly hosts a pool party at her home, Chantal and Andrea decide to humiliate Courtney at the party by pulling the string on her bikini.
Dodie is an awful character who is shown to be incredibly selfish. She is willing to throw other people under the bus to make herself popular, as seen in various episodes. For example, in "Of Lice and Friends," she becomes the new school announcer at Lucky Jr. High and turns it into a gossip column. During a lice outbreak, she finds the list of all the kids at school who have lice, with one of them being Courtney Gripling. She reveals the names during the school announcements until Ginger stops her before she can say Courtney's name.
In "Dodi's Big Break," she fakes a leg injury so the cheerleaders will let her join the squad. She then begins ignoring Ginger and Macie. When they find out she's faking, Dodi starts using the squad like bodyguards to keep them away. However, her worst action has to be when she becomes incredibly jealous after Ginger and Darren become a couple. She conspires with Miranda, Mipsy, and Macie to try and ruin Ginger and Darren's relationship.
She's a pretty awful woman who is insufferable and disapproves of Carl being friends with Hoodsey. In one episode, when Hoodsey gets amnesia, she keeps Carl as far away from him as possible. In "The Easter Ham," after getting into a fight with Lois at the supermarket, Joann ends up in the hospital and bans her children from having any contact with the Foutleys.
From the episode "Stuff'll Kill Ya," Mr. Briggs is one of Carl's teachers who holds a vendetta against him after Carl got his daughter in trouble. He gets back at Carl by lying, claiming that something in the science closet was deadly and that whoever touched it would have 48 hours to live. Carl is horrified and believes he is going to die, so he tries to make the most of those 48 hours. When Lois finds out what Mr. Briggs did, she completely tears into him.
Ginger's former Junior High School teacher's cousin, who is also named Ms. Zorski, teaches at the high school. Unlike her cousin, who was nice and praised Ginger for her hard work, Ms. Zorski's cousin is a strict, no-nonsense teacher. Right from the start, she dislikes Ginger and is always on her case, constantly reminding her that the real world doesn't care about her petty problems. She doesn't even show any concern for Ginger after her surgery for acute appendicitis.
From the episode "Sibling Revile-ry," George is placed as Carl's big brother as part of Ginger's Big Brother/Sister program. He is very strict and follows Carl day and night, making sure he doesn't get into trouble. He even takes it a step further by stating he plans to sign Carl up for military school and demands that Carl destroy his dog house piece by piece.
When Carl tries to resist, George threatens him by saying that if he fails as a student, Ginger's program will fail. Despite the fact that Ginger refused to take him off the program earlier, Carl complies with George's demands.
Same as with Miranda, as the two constantly cause trouble for Ginger.
