Worst Book Series for Children

This book series should die already

I HATE THIS SO MUCH ARGH! When I was a kid my mom banned me from the show because she didn't like it but I ended up being exposed to it anyway. And her favorite color was pink and so was mine. It makes girls look like unicorn-loving freaks and there are no good morals. It's so overrated! There's WAY too much pink in it, and it's not realistic at all. Plus she's just a Mary Sue! DIE PINKALICIOUS DIE! I hate her, she's awful. There's nothing good about her. - Laurel

How is this not added to the list? This series is just irredeemable. The main character is a stereotype to children (especially girls), and she is a selfish brat. There are no good morals at all. Her name is stupid, and it doesn’t even sound like a real name. It sounds like a portmanteau of adjectives. The series became famous, yet it didn’t deserve it’s fame because it’s extremely stereotypical. The unappealing illustrations are yet simplistic. The series of books has lots of merchandise, from its own fudging MUSICAL playing all over America, to a video game, and even its own T.V. series on PBS. What an overrated series! The amount of pink in this book is so over-saturated. I won’t bother reading the series again. The reason why this book was made was actually because the author’s two daughters have a stupid love of the color pink.
